I’ve eaten from this location 3 times now! I’m Celiac and every time am SO thrilled to eat from such a stellar GF menu! This location has such a friendly staff who are always super accommodating. On one occasion they went out of their way to make a fresh batch of crispy chicken for my meal without request and gave me a complimentary drink while I was waiting! They are truly so kind and always taking care of their customers. I’ll for sure continue to come back!

Visiting from our of town and was taken there by family. Great place. Staff was wonderful. I am gluten free, didn't ask for a specific GF menu but the main menu had many options. Had the tacos, awesome. Late in the evening a GF pizza showed up. Very good also.

We heard of HBROS from friends and wanted to try something new. When I saw everything was gluten free and nut free I was sold!!! Delicious, gluten free and it was quick! Tameeka was very helpful with our first visit.

I like the new products and makeup section with higher end brands, saves a trip to the mall. Plus their produce is nice, and love the in-store restaurants. Not sure why Starbucks in store won't take stars that's sad, but the large selection of gluten free allergen friendly food is awesome. No butcher in-store, fresh meat is the down fall.

The shrimp and grits is gluten free and very lovely to eat, but everything’s a bit pricey after happy hour. Also, the cocktails can be a bit inconsistent in the alcohol ratio, but the staff are always happy to remake it for you.

We hosted a private event at this location and it was simply spectacular! The coordination with booking was simple, straightforward, and informative. On the day of the event, the staff was helpful, professional, and accommodating to any needs that we had. The food was delicious and we were all impressed with the amount of gluten free options for our guests! Using McClain's made hosting this event super easy and less stressful. The space was beautiful, clean, and everything we needed for a baby sprinkle! We loved working with McClains and look forward to doing it again soon!

We came here for a birthday dinner celebration. We had a reservation and our table was ready right away. The host and the servers were great. The food was at best, mediocre. There was very little seasoning or flavor in any of the 5 dishes we ordered. The seafood dishes were overcooked, leaving us to wonder if they were warmed up in a microwave. It was very good to see so many gluten free options. The brownies in the birthday dessert got very good reviews.

When I was pregnant with my daughter (11 years ago) I would crave BBQ from Bates and come almost daily. My family lives in Shawnee whereas I moved out of state years ago. Whenever I am home- 4 days this time- this is an absolute must eat at place. I ate two of my meals here. I also bought BBQ sauce (which they wrapped nicely) to take home in my luggage. My mom always brings me sauce from here for my own ribs to satisfy my hometown craving. Their food is the absolute best. The brothers who own the place are kind, knowledgeable, and make some yummy burnt ends. Everything is gluten free so if you have food allergies like myself you don’t have to fret. The lunch specials are always delicious. Food is hot, customer service is on point, atmosphere is authenticity fun and sassy: Bates is the BEST BBQ place in town, in my humble (and correct opinion).

Our family of four ate lunch here. We were all happy with our food choices. I had the black Angus sandwich on gluten free bread. Fresh and delicious! The only issue was that men's bathroom was pretty gross. I know the staff can't always control what customers do, but my hubby and son both found it dirty, and they are not very picky!

I am gluten free and it's so rare to find an Italian restaurant that offers almost everything on their menu in gluten free. My favorite was the tortellini as you can never find a gf version out in the world! I will be going back often now that I have found them!

Always solid food. Service can vary but has been more consistent, as of late. Desire gluten free options for them though. Understand it wouldn’t be strictly compliant since they’d be prepared in a gluten location but for those with intolerance it would be more inviting.

I am obsessed with the karaage chicken and steamed rice, the spicy mayo is soooo good! The classic broth is by far my favorite but all broths are amazing. I like the gluten-free options since my girlfriends parents and sister are allergic

This location is always clean and well stocked. It’s surprising how much better the clothing selection is these days than Target. Lower prices on everyday items plus a good selection of frozen gluten free food. The only thing I would change is having more cash registers open. There’s always a line for self checkout and they have maybe one or two actual registers open.

The food came wheely fast, the service was right on track, and the tater ties really helped bring the meal together. The gluten free options made me feel out of steam but the management kept things chugging along. We loved the little toot toot ride and the “alright” dude really brought up the caboose.

Came here one Sunday morning a few weeks ago. It is obviously a popular place as it was so busy. There were 6 of us in our group. The food was great. I loved that they had gluten free bread. They also have a portion of the menu that is a bit healthier, which was nice. Definitely recommend!
