Caleb is awesome! Me and my daughter went in to get ice cream for dinner and it was a great choice. Ice cream is delicious, Caleb was friendly and helpful and explained their gluten free options so we can come back with my other daughter!
I had a romantic dinner on the deck of the 1606 restaurant the other night. It is very European to sit outside even on a cooler night with blankets.
I had a shrimp risotto (gluten free) Unfortunately it is only an appetizer size and they couldn’t make it bigger for me to have this as my main course. It tasted heavenly. I ordered a gluten-free burger and Caesar salad after . I was happy they were able accommodate my gluten-free request.
They have a good selection of wine to choose from.
The view and the atmosphere is absolutely incredible.
As they had two functions that night they don’t take reservations. We had about an hour wait to get a table. It is a super fun place to go to. I highly recommend it

Visited with my family and it was amazing! Great Service! Had all Gluten Free BLT, BLT Avocado and Chicken tender and it was exceptional. Now we have a place to go when we visit Gloucester with the best food, service and atmosphere. Wish i could add 5 more starts to the rating.

10/10. Great food. Careful about gluten and clear on the difference between allergy and preference. Also, did I mention GREAT food. Really dangerously great! Thanks for making our mornings better!
Loving the new location at 46 commercial st! Surprised to have been able to have GLUTEN FREE toast available! Fresh ingredients cooked right before your eyes. What a great hidden gem!
Crunchy and fluffy pizza with a unique garlic butter twist and standout delivery service makes this spot a must-try in Gloucester.

Best gluten free pizza in Gloucester. Trust me, I’ve tried em all as far as I know. I think they add some garlic butter to the crust also and it is crunchy fluffy goodness. My one pro tip is to not order a GF pizza with too many toppings. I hope they expand their gluten free offerings, if so, they would own the GF market in town.
Huge portions and delicious ice cream make this spot a must-visit, despite prices being a bit on the higher side.

They give really large portions, there kiddie size looks more like a medium and I do think the ice cream was pretty expensive considering a kiddie size was $6.50 (however prices are increasing on everything so maybe that’s why it was expensive) . The ice cream was delicious don’t let the price hinder your from stopping. The big thing the won me over at this ice cream place was the option for a gluten free cone!
A charming stop with delightful vibes, perfect for enjoying sweet treats and making happy summer memories before hitting the beach.

I went out of my way to stop at Cove Cafe on my way to the beach. So many happy summer memories are tied up with a walk to Cove Cafe in the morning to get coffee and a raspberry oat bar. The taste is phenomenal. My friend is gluten free and she is ecsyatic about all the gf offerings. Thank you Cove Cafe! ♥️🏖️♥️
Fresh, flavorful meals with a seafaring vibe make this spot a must-stop for anyone traveling through the area—totally worth the detour!

Literally the best food ever! My sister and I travel and love to stop at local eateries. We were passing through Rockport and Gloucester while visiting family and friends but found ourselves famished. After a quick search and analysis of the fellow reviews, we decided on Lobsta Land. We had the Fisherman's Stew, Haddock Chowder, Parmesan truffle fries and a House Salad - and yes the two of us ate it all! My sister has a gluten allergy so finding a chowder that is flour-free is not always an easy task. Pleased to say the food was so good that we opted to leave Salem (in our travels south from Portsmouth) to turn completely around, back track to Gloucester for another round of stew and chowder - No regrets. The second time around in 3 days was just as amazing as the first. The fish was all cooked perfectly, there was no heavy salting and it was so fresh, you could still taste the sea in the fish. 20/10 would ABSOLUTELY recommend again and again... Can't wait to travel back!

We went in on a weeknight with no reservations for a group of 7 and they were very accommodating, waited only ~5 min. Servers were very nice, my husband is celiac and they were knowledgeable about gluten and cross contamination. The menu has great variety and the servers helped us narrow down our choices. They also had colouring available for my 4 year old. But the time we left the restaurant part was dying down and the bar section was getting more popular so we had the area to ourselves for a bit. I had great enchiladas for the first time in years.
Arguably the best food in Gloucester. The chef gets the flavor and details right for every dish. Excellent Italian food, and they cater to dietary issues to include celiacs (gluten free).
I found this place on my gluten free app while driving around Massachusetts. Had a really tasty wrap. The wrap was so soft I was worried it wasn't gluten free! It wasn't crumbly like most gluten free wraps tend to be.
Enjoy stunning water views and a lovely ambiance perfect for gatherings, complemented by excellent service that enhances the overall experience.

My organization recently hosted a team dinner at Yella on the Water, and I want to share how great of an experience we had. We worked with Matt to plan our menu and flow of the evening. We hosted a short and informal arrival/cocktail gathering on the patio. The view overlooks the water and was perfect on a transitional summer-to-fall night. We ordered a few appetizers which were setup as a station and the servers took drink orders. It was a lovely ambiance. We then had entrees and dessert inside. Our team pre-selected meals ahead of arriving, though the team was able to make adjustments on-site, and this made for a smooth and quick transition. The food was delicious. Notably, they accommodated several dietary restrictions including a gluten allergy, vegetarians, and dairy free guests. All of the allergens are clearly noted on the menu, so it made planning and selecting easy, too. Throughout the entire night, Matt and the service team were fantastic. They were so kind and nice to engage with. Our team raved about the location, food, service, and ambiance. I highly recommend Yella on the Water for a group dinner or just as a restaurant to visit!
Good crowd on Christmas Eve. Had lobster rolls they don’t have gluten free bun so had on lettuce. Taste was good qty not as much.
Took home boiled lobster smaller than expected. Was ok overall. No major complaints, nothing standing out
Excellent. They were so accommodating of my wife's gluten intolerance. Many gluten free options, and each better than the next. Service was perfect, they spent so much longer than they needed to talking through the changing menu items. I grew up 10 minutes away and couldn't believe I'd never been.
If you like, Calamari, mussles and clams, you'll LOVE this place. They have a very diverse menu and a lot of gluten free choices. Can be loud but a great atmosphere!
I enjoy shopping here, because of all the gluten-free,dairy-free,soy-free choices. Also, there are alot of fun things to look at (kitchen gadgets ,handmade mittens, & soap). Some things are too expensive for me,but still fun to look
Nice place. Our party had gluten free dietary restrictions. They were very attentive. They made an excellent GF veggie wrap. The Italian sub was overflowing. Excellent meals at a decent price.
Charming spot with a cozy patio vibe, vintage clothing for sale, and no extra charge for plant milk—perfect for relaxing times!

Cute cafe down stairs off the main street. I got a decaf almond latte (no decaf drip) and enjoyed it on the patio out back which was soooo nice! A really great space tucked away from the noise. Only wish they had reusable cups as I hated having one destined for the landfill. But love that they don’t charge extra for plant milk (aka vegan tax as I’ve heard it called.)
Next time I’ll try an açaí bowl (which is gluten free, yay!)
Cute rack of clothes for sale, labeled sustainable and vintage (second hand?)
Thanks for a lovely spot to catch up with an old friend!
