They have a lovely outdoor patio overlooking the lake, which is a huge draw for our kids. Good burgers and actually really good gluten free pizza (Udi crust). Huge wine and beer list, and they do have cocktails. Huge children's meals, which come with a side and a drink. We always stop here at least once when we're in town.

they are not great about cross contamination. I got really sick the last time I ate there. when I called and asked about their gluten-free prep they said it is all done in the same kitchen on the same counters.

Gotta be over 25 different hot dog recipes. Sure you can probably make them at home but the setup of this place is rad and all the ingredients are here! Definately affordable, Superb service on our to go order. This will be my 1st choice eating destination in Bemidji. BEST GLUTEN FREE BUNS I've found in all the places I've had to ask.
We come to Lueken's(even though it's a 2 hour round-trip drive) because they have the top quality meats/seafoods in the northern lakes region. They also have some of the best gluten-free options, even better than most grocery stores in the larger cities. It's definitely worth the drive just to get their Texas Gulf Shrimp, instead of the foreign, farm-raised garbage you find at most northern Minnesota stores! The store is a bit on the pricier side, therefore I took a star off my rating.
Expect a cozy vibe with unique breakfast options that really stand out, making it a must-visit stop for morning meals.

The service and the food was fantastic! I was quite pleased to have very delicious pancakes, which is unusual for gluten-free.

Very good and enjoyed conversing in Spanish with our waiter! Yummy food. Wish there were more tamales options though for gluten-free dishes! (Their tamales are combined with non-gluten-free foods.)
Great ice cream shop. Have a nice selection of ice creams including gluten free and dairy free. They have other foods like pizza if you're up for a snack.
Luekens is a very nice grocery store. I like both locations but one is because it has a bank in it the other has so much more of the organic and specialty stuff that I'm looking for. The north end has a way better Gluten free selection. I also like that it has the bakery in it and the deli in it.
Unique pizza options with a side salad bar make for a fun dining experience, though extra charges can add up quickly.

I do enjoy the gluten free pizza. I love the gluten free cheeseburger pizza without onions. Only downside is I have to pay for the salad bar and mashed potatoes on top of the gluten free pizza instead of as a buffet of pizza, salad, potatoes, drink.
The place offers a variety of tasty options with standout fries and ranch dressing, alongside some large portion sizes worth a revisit.

They have a gluten free bun 😊. They do not have a gluten free menu, so I asked our waiter a lot of questions. But Isabella was very willing to find out the answers.
Street tacos were great!
The walleye dinner was small portions. The fish was not very flavorful but the mashed potatoes and veggies were good.
The Paul Bunyan burger is good. Fries, great and the ranch dressing, amazing!
Pulled pork nachos were good. Very large portion.
