I loved this place! They offered a ton of gluten free options! The brisket had a beautiful smoke ring and snap. The coleslaw was a perfect BBQ slaw (got those celery seeds). The pulled pork was very flavorful. Don’t get me started on the tangy house BBQ sauce. The fries were extremely crispy and the toast was CRISPY and buttery. You could pretty much build your own sandwich with the toast.
The hospitality was awesome as well! The front of house seemed incredibly knowledgeable on the menu and was extremely kind.
This is the perfect BBQ stop on your way up to North Conway.
Food was great, as was the service. There were few gluten free options, most of which were sold out, so my girlfriend and I got the Surf and Turf and were both very satisfied.
Just showing this little place some love. My friends and I were in town for a little girl's weekend and needed to kill some time before we checked into the house. We went to the sap house across the street and then stopped in here for a quick bite. You could tell that everything they were serving was homemade with love and not from a box (unlike that awful tourist trap Ossipee Mountain grill). Our waitress was so lovely and so very sweet when I told her I had a gluten allergy. She had them leave out the bread from the French onion soup (on her suggestion! Before I even had to ask!). Let me tell you, it was the BEST French onion I have ever had. So packed with flavor. It was so rich and delicious. With yummy, gooey Swiss melted on top. Mmm! My friend also loved her chowder. This is a quaint, no frills, roadside diner in a former train depot. They serve beer, wine & hard seltzer. They had a specials board with some delicious looking items as well. Truly a hidden gem. Next time, I will go back hungrier!!
A classic brunch spot with tasty home cooking and good portions, but don’t expect lunch—just a heads-up on the name!

A classic brunch eatery. Yummy home cooking. Perfect size portion and decent prices. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the name says Breakfast & Lunch...but they don't have lunch. Ha! I asked the waitress and she said they haven't had lunch in over a 18 months. Misleading and difficult to plan road meals. But still, great food and service!
Oh!!, and they DO have gluten free bread to substitute!!
