I’ve had gluten free items from the Matawan location before and they were always good. But it was the complete opposite at this location. The cookie sandwich was hard and greasy, one bite and I was done. The brownie cookie and raspberry oat bar were very grainy and not good. For the price that everything was, it should be much better than it was. I’ll just stick to my Simple Mills gluten free cake mixes because at least I know they’re good!

This is the best Jersey Mikes shop I’ve ever been to. My partner and I are constantly traveling all over the country and we always get a craving for Jersey Mikes. Every other place always seems to get our orders a bit wrong. Thankfully we live near this shop so we order from them at least once a month. They always get the order right every since time. Love their fresh ingredients and friendly associates! I also love that they have gluten free bread as an option.

I contacted Main Street Kitchen as I was having a "Summer's Coming!" gathering and wanted a fried chicken substitute that would be an easier, pick up item. Lo and behold, Meighan shared that she makes organic, gluten free chicken fingers and since I have had celiac disease for 46 years, I jumped at the chance to be able to order them. They were divine. Absolutely perfect. Easy to heat up, delicious breading and tender (as a Southerner, I am a bit of an expert on anything fried chicken related!). Paired with some family recipes, they were great choices for a casual, heavy appetizer supper and I paired them with Chik-Fil-A sauce as a dipping option! Guests raved about them. Meighan communicated by email with me and made everything so easy. I am so happy I have more that I can freeze. My husband and son have been devouring them all day and can't believe they are gluten-free! I will be ordering more from Meighan. Main Street Kitchen is going to be a gift to me at the Jersey Shore!

This has become my go to spot for both dine in & take out. I have Celiac disease & their menu has a lot of options including the best gluten free hamburger buns I’ve ever tasted. Their Pat LaFrieda burgers are delicious. Also a fan of the spinach & artichoke grilled cheese (on GF bread), omelettes & seasonal warm bowls. They have rotating ciders from Burnt Mills on tap which are always amazing. I’ve been here more times than I can count through the years & have consistently had top notch service. The servers, bartenders & hosts are always friendly & accommodating & a large part of my 5 star rating.

As a person with Celiac Disease who has to eat gluten free with no other choice I’m very happy with my experience here today. I struggle everyday to find any place to eat out at without the fear of becoming extremely ill. I was very appreciative of the staff who did their part in taking preventative measures without me even having to ask ex. Thoroughly cleaning the knife used to cut my sub, and changing their gloves. I’ve been meaning to stop in to grab a slice for years. I wish I stopped in sooner. My mouth is watering as I think about describing this perfectly crafted pizza. The light airy crust was the perfect thickness and had a soft yet toasty crunch. The quality of sauce, cheese and spices are way above average. A lot of the ingredients are sourced from Italy - non-GMO tomatoes, the flour used is quality wheat that contains no additives or added enzymes. The toppings are sourced locally or from Italy.
I typically have a reaction from dairy and gluten but I had no issue with this pizza. This is probably because most of it is sourced from good quality ingredients from Italy. It’s also kid approved! My daughter absolutely loved it.
This is the best pizza in this area and maybe even the best in Jersey. I can’t wait to go back for more.
Update: We have been back for more multiple times. Along with the pizza, we ordered Penne Vodka and chicken cutlets
with prosciutto. The spicy gnocchi special was so unique and delicious! We should’ve ordered more because everyone wanted to eat my dinner. The meal are consistently great! Everyone that we introduce this place to raves about it and wants to go back another meal.
