This is my favorite spot in Greenwood Lake! New to the area and needing to eat gluten free, Village Buzz Cafe had so many options! I couldn’t decide between savory or sweet so they accommodated one slice of gluten free avocado toast topped with and egg and a piece of gluten free french toast topped with a blueberry compote and walnuts. YUM! The women were so nice, informative and accommodating! I will definitely be back and highly recommend Village Buzz! My fiancé also said it was the best french toast he has had!

The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The food is always delicious. They have a wonderful baked goods section which typically includes gluten free treats. Greenwood Lake Bagels is very supportive and involved in all the community events and are a true asset to GWL.
Recent changes in management have sparked mixed feelings; some love the atmosphere and helpful staff, while others have concerns about cleanliness.

04/23 update: new owners fired prior waitress, ate there a few days ago and suspiciously I had the runs for 2 days. Maybe food prep wasn't clean idk but now thinking of going somewhere else after golf days.
only just found this place. The food is good and the waitresses are awesome. I am gluten free and they didn't have gf wraps but the 1 waitress offered to run home to get one since she is gf. Wow who does that these days. They are both sweethearts!
Taking over for Breezy Point is going to be a challenge. You've got big shoes to fill, but I believe you can do it! Might I recommend a slightly experienced staff and healthy eating options (besides those two salads), less fried food on the menu, gluten-free options, vegan-friendly options, vegetarian-friendly options? And dairy allergies, nut allergies considered and clearly noted on the menu. Also, that liquor license is going to come in handy. Best of luck! Looking forward to seeing Tortuga grow!
