This is my favorite restaurant by FAR. The food is always incredibly tasty and they nail the spice levels. There are lots of gluten free/vegan options for me and wonderful meat options for my partner.
Service is always fast and attentive and restaurant is super clean. The staff are the nicest people you’ll meet so that’s a huge bonus. :-)
The staff was pleasant. The menu offered a variety of entrees that our family of 5 could appreciate. That said, meals were VERY disappointing and the quality of food was lacking. We did not finish our meals and did not feel the need to take leftovers home.
Per menu:
Mongolian Beef
LaPlatte Farm skirt steak marinated in a sweet and spicy hoisin-oyster sauce, sautéed with confit peppers & onions, broccolini, served with basmati rice and topped with scallions and house pickled hot peppers GLUTEN FREE.”
The LaPlatte beef was sadly way over cooked, sauce was very salty, and the only identifiable vegetable in the dish was one sprig of broccolini.
The Fish and Chips should be served on a smaller tray for presentation purposes. There were two small pieces of fish and a handful of chips served on a large metal tray.
Bottom line is the quality and flavor of the food was poor and way too expensive for what it was.
I love to give 4-5 star reviews but was embarrassed to have recommended this restaurant to the group. Huge buyers remorse.
Step into a cozy haven with a warm vibe, where delightful treats and a unique maple latte promise an unforgettable experience.

This cafe/bakery is the cutest place ever. When you walk in there is a warm and inviting vibe. I ordered a parfait bowl, muffin, and dessert which were all gluten free(because I’m celiac) The employees were super nice and helpful too. This was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had in my life!!! I also got a maple latte which was so good. You need to go!
A gem in the heart of Shelburne! They offer traditional breakfast elevated to another level. They don’t have a lot of gluten free options but what they offer is absolutely delicious and you certainly don’t feel like you’re missing out if you are gluten-intolerant. We’ve celebrated many special occasions here and it’s perfectly situated to launch you into a day of adventures along VT route 7 with a belly full of scrumptious sustenance.
With a vast menu featuring Nepalese, Indian, and Mediterranean dishes, this spot has something for everyone and great takeout options!

I had the privilege of trying some food from this place. They have a vast menu consisting of a lot of very good items from Nepal and India. The curries was very delicious. They even have a vegetarian section. Also, tandoori items for non-curry lovers. The dietary restriction option was extremely nice. They can make most of the food dairy-free and gluten free and nut free : you just have to ask the server to let the chef know about it.
The addition of mediterranean food was also a nice touch!
The customer service was also very helpful and attentive!!! Can't wait to order more takeouts!!!
Thanks
