We discovered Marlene's market in Federal Way years ago at their prior location. Though we have never lived close by, it is a regular stop whenever we go by on the freeway, since it so close and accessible. A wonderful natural food store with a great selection. The deli and coffee shop upstairs has a great salad bar, fresh pre-made sandwiches and many more options for omnivores, vegans, those who are gluten free. There is a section that carries many fair trade and local products. A fun store to explore, grab a bite and some coffee for there or to go or for everyday grocery shopping. Locally owned and operated with a friendly, helpful staff.
A roomy and shiny spot with unique finds, competitive prices, and an impressive variety that keeps shoppers coming back for more.

Service was great. The food was horrible. Very low quality ingredients. I came here with my daughters and we couldn't finish our food. It was pretty gross. We drove here from South Hill because they had a gluten free menu, as I have yo est gluten free. The gluten free menu was just a few items from their normal menu but served without sauce, one option for ramen and it was very very bland. My daughters ordered from the normal menu and again very bland very low quality food. We left very disappointed.
A must-visit for flavor enthusiasts, offering a tasty buffet with house-ground spices and plenty of options for every palate!

Good day everyone
I have been a customer of The East Indian Grill in Federal Way for almost 18 years. I have not found another restaurant that can match there flavor profile anywhere in Washington State.
Cabel and his staff are wonderful. I can take my vegetarian daughter in law, and my carnivore son there to eat. Also, there are only 2 items that contain gluten. To tell you how great a place they are.. when I did not have a car for 6 months, I would take the bus there from Tacoma! There dishes all have different sauses and flavors. Not spoiled by just "heat". They have always had a buffet,
Every day from 11am to 3pm. You can always order off the menu too. The prices are very reasonable and you can fill up a teenage son there. If you have a chance to enjoy a meal there, you will never regret it.
Tell Cabel hello from Mrs Diana from Tacoma.
Expect an inspiring decor and superb curries that keep folks coming back for more, with options for everyone.

Love this place. I have never been disappointed. They have both gluten-free and vegetarian/vegan options. If you like calamari (neither gf or veg) but the best that I have ever had! ALL of their curries are superb! The panang curry is so good!
A sushi spot with a standout server, Chris, who goes above and beyond to accommodate guests, even those with challenging dietary restrictions.

Quick service, you can choose between the a la carte menus and the all you can eat sushi bar. They do have desserts but none gluten free. They serve sake and a few other drinks but I don't drink. Sodas with free refills are good. I like their edamame appetizer, and the cucumber salad.
With a cozy vibe and great vegetarian options, this spot impresses with unique drinks and delicious coffee that keeps everyone coming back.

So glad I found this location! I visited their restaurant in the Beaverton area on a prior trip and this location didn’t disappoint. Our server was terrific, the menu had a ton of vegetarian and gluten-friendly options and the portions are large for the money. This is a new fave die when I’m in the area.
Can't believe I have to give a bad review for Chick fil a, but they've gotten worse. Normally, this exact one is better than the one in Tukwila, but now they're both just as bad. They completely forgot one of our sandwiches, and the bacon and cheese on my gluten free sandwich was missing yet again (this is the third time that's happened.) There were also lots of seeds in the lemonade
Known for their attentive care and special touches, this spot is a must-visit for those seeking a unique dining experience.

Great Chinese restaurant! The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. My wife is gluten free and they were happy to explain which items could be made GF and took extra caution preparing her food. The food is some of the best I've had in the area
Expect a lively atmosphere with tasty options and clean vibes, though service experiences may vary.

I’ve never had a bad meal at an ale house, which stands true even after eating here. One from my party had a pesto pizza—said it was very good. One had a burger with a gluten free bun—said it was delicious. One had the taco salad—said it was very yummy and a good choice. I had the half order nachos which were HUGE but tasty—they were just a biiiit greasy for me.
However, the server helping us was kind of a damper. My friend brought in an empty coffee cup so that she could look for a place to throw it away and our server snapped at her to throw it away immediately. Then, the server seemed very annoyed by us every time we interacted with her. We tried to ask her for a recommendation between 2 entrees and she seemed annoyed we would ask her. We are very kind, lighthearted people and we were treated very abrasively. The you g lady who delivered our food was much kinder and I wish she had been our server the whole time.

We had never been here before but came because they good reviews. My daughter and I went, she is 8. We both had Chicken Pad Thai. It was delicious. I am also gluten free and they said the Pad Thai was gluten free. I am also dairy free and was going to get a Thai iced tea but they did not have coconut milk for it. My daughter got a strawberry bubble tea and she loved it, the bubble tea is not dairy free either. The service was great and they had a great atmosphere.
Impossible burger is great for vegetarian or vegan! Gluten free bun also available. Can swap out for the burger on happy hour, but then doesn’t come with chips or fries. Great service 🙂

We love Pimienta. So lucky we live nearby, we come here all the time. Our favorite dishes are the pollo rostizado and the butternut squash tacos. Literally we accidentally dropped one on the floor once and were like, no worries - and ate it anyway, they’re so good. Everything is delicious. Chef puts a lot of care into balancing the dishes. Also, my mom is gluten free and it was really easy for her to be celiac safe here when she visited. Worth the drive from wherever you come from!

Food is amazing as always! The seafood and island house sauce is also gluten free/Celiac-friendly, unlike many similar restaurants in the area, so a big favorite for my husband! Definitely don't shy away from spice and garlic. Shout out to Emoni for always treating us amazingly

This walmart like im sure many if you want to get rang up you need to be there when they open. I love the supercenter for the produce and other organic gluten free options down the isles but as far as employees there are barely any and if you come to late in the day one till is open and self check out is too busy so expect to sit in long lines and bring your own bag!!
The food is fantastic. Lots of fresh ingredients with a lot of choices. If I was the owner I would change two things. I would offer a rice noodle for the gluten free crowd and I would turn up the grill a tad too get a crunchier seat on the noodles and too get people through the cook line a little faster. It might cost a bit more but the experience would be worth it from a customer point of view.
5 stars for the gluten free chocolate chip cookies! Here I was thinking I was getting I salad (greek - it was good too) but the cookie was the real hero.
Quick service and the food itself was good. I only wish that there was some indication on the menu of allergens, even if it's just a little icon next to the item to say it's gluten free or lactose free
The wings were delicious. They need to make a gluten free version so I can eat the entire thing. I got a dazed and confused without the bun with a house salad, super yummy.
I can’t believe this is the first review... this place is awesome! Always exceptional service, and the Pad Thai is the best around. We tried every Thai restaurant in the surrounding area, and this is the one we are consistently happy with. They are also very allergen friendly. They make their own sauces, so ordering anything gluten free is typically not an issue (aside from the obvious). Food is always fresh and delicious, the place is always clean, service is attentive and friendly. Nothing bad to say except the location... getting in/out is a pain unless you’re southbound on 99. The surrounding area isn’t very enticing, but it is worth checking out!

Hello, celiac disease sufferer here! I absolutely love Korean food, but it can be difficult to order gluten free due to the ubiquitous presence of soy sauce. This is why I tend to stick to grilled meats and choose the unmarinated ones. Palace has a great selection of unseasoned meat and you grill it on a clean metal surface at your table, which makes for pretty low cross-contamination risk! I do not know if they have gluten free soy sauce. I didn’t ask as I often bring it along to Japanese and Korean restaurants and add it to my own dish (just put the bottle away if you do this as outside food and drink are generally frowned-upon). Palace does provide sesame oil with salt and pepper for dipping, which is a delicious gluten free condiment for the meat.
The only thing I missed from the grilling experience was the lettuce, raw garlic and jalapeño, and pickled radish that sometimes accompanies Korean BBQ at other restaurants. Just a preference, but I missed these flavors and textures.

Delicious pizza!! And one of the best gluten free crusts around! The restaurant is definitely a hole in the wall type, decor is a little old, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it! I got the Tuscany pizza on gluten free crust and it was amazing!
Oh my god. I can't believe NY doesn't have one of these places.
Of course, NY has good traditional Korean oxtail soup places (sulking tang), but this place is better than all of the places I've been to previously.
First thing I noticed was the homey-Korean interior. Wood furnishings, like a typical Korean mom and pop restaurant. The silverware was on the table in a wooden case, along with napkins at your disposal.
The menu is taped to the wall at your table, and the menu is simple and very easy to understand. They go over what the traditional Korean beef soup is for those who are not familiar.
The broth for the sullung tang was not a typical milky white, like I've seen for most if not all Korean oxtail soup places in NY. It was see through, like a lighter chicken broth color (if you know what I mean). Regardless, my dad, who grew up in Korea, said that normally, the broth should be this color, not the milky white that we've seen. They have thin noodles that go in the soup, and they have gluten free options for those!
With good sullung tang, you need good kimchi. Wow, this place has some delicous kimchi. It's not too fermented, so it's not too sour, yet it's not too drying, like the non-fermented kimchi. It has a perfect balance, and made such a good complement to the soup.
The 6-piece dumplings that we also got as a side dish was also amazing. They tell you exactly what's in it, so you know what you're eating. They make it all by hand, which makes it extra special.
My family loved this restaurant. Staff was super friendly, treated us like relatives, and they checked up on us to make sure we were comfortable.
All in all, I'm devastated that this place is only in Washington. I will keep looking for better places in NY and hope that one of them can compare.
