The food was so yummy. They even had gluten free food for my daughter with celiac disease. She has extreme reactions to gluten/wheat and she was able to eat at a restaurant for once and not feel sick. We will definitely come back soon! They were so sweet and accommodating making sure there was no cross contamination with her food and changing gloves.

Great pizza! Have been ordering here for several years. Their website is super easy to order your pizza. I like how you can add as many toppings as you want. Family has ordered both their gluten and gluten free pizzas with a variety of different sauces. We like it all. Customer service is decent but staff can be lacking on certain days. Delivery is through DoorDash. Also a bonus they help fundraising for local schools.

We had the server Jennifer. She is the most amazing server i have ever experienced. Very attentive and clearly cares about her customers. We have a gluten allergy at the table and she made sure to keep that in mind. The allover is 5stars but I put atmosphere at 4 because it gets quite loud with the open kitchen and gets quite loud at times. Nothing they can change but good to know for any sensory issues. We were able to find everything we needed and more here! The store layout is simple and easy to find things, and the atmosphere was great. We don’t have to wait too long in the checkout line, either, and the staff member who checked us out was happy and seemed to be enjoying his job, despite the busy throng of customers. My only regret was we couldn’t find the fantastic gluten free cornbread mix we love so much. I wish you would bring that back! It is most excellent!

I have been going here since I was a kid and had to stop going due to celiac . A couple years ago I was beyond happy they had gluten free options... Today is 7/15/2023 and I stopped in to grab some baked beans, a dragon wheel, a chicken sandwich, and some potatoes salad and was told they don't have much in the way of gluten free any more. Extremely sad they don't and frustrated as well. This was a place my Mom used to take us as kids and they do have some good barbecue if you aren't gluten free. Just wanted to let any fellow gluten free customers know before they make a 45 minute drive like I did.

❗Celiac Disease? This is a must read❗ I've eaten here a number of times and communicated each time that I can't have gluten (Celiac Disease - CD). Lately, I've been trying a new strategy when I'm out to say I have a wheat allergy. Not perfect because it's NOT medically accurate. But wheat allergy is more understandable to most folks, and (most) folks have an understanding that cross-contaminating allergen with non-allergen foods is a huge problem (and cross-contaminating for CD is similarly bad). So today, I told our waitress that I have a wheat allergy and that the station used for my food and gloves on the hands of the worker need to be clean. Our food seemed to be taking the tiniest bit longer to come out. But no biggie. They were extremely busy, and I wasn't in a hurry. The next time the waitress comes to the table, she has no food and a worried face. Turns out she was scanning ingredients lists and checking in with the cooks to ensure what I ordered was actually safe. 🤩 She must've known about CD because I never once uttered the word gluten, but she did multiple times. 💯 She said the carne asada entrée I chose is pre-marinated in soy sauce, but the appetizer is safe, so we worked out a different plan for my entrée. Hubby and I finish our appetizer (we split the Prime Ensalada), and the main dishes come out. She sets everything down, takes a look at the nopal, and says "don't eat that yet!" She goes to talk to the cooks and returns to say they also seasoned the nopal with soy sauce. Then she says, "Do you also need new chorizo because it was touching this (the nopal)?" In fact, yes. 😃🥳 She returns with new chorizo and there's nopal as well. I ask, confused, "is this safe?" She reported the cooks said the nopal isn't pre-marinated, so she just told them "salt and pepper only." She also confirmed the chorizo packaging said gluten free. She walks away and hubby and I are already talking about how she's gonna get a massive tip. 🫡🙇 We finished up, she brought the check, and she had a worried face again. She apologized for all of the waiting and thanked us for being patient. I told her that because of her, I learned I'd been eating contaminated food EVERY other time I've come, despite explaining my situation every time. I am simply SO grateful for her help! ⚠️🚨Pro tip alert⚠️🚨 She said, "Things can get lost in translation. The trick is to say 'no seasoning, no soy sauce, just salt and pepper.'" The most attentive and cautious waitress 💥E. V. E. R.💥 I wish I could've comfortably given more than the 30% tip we added (cuz I know with credit cards, they don't get that whole tip after taxes are taken out, and I'm sure she splits with the cooks as well). But I hope we made it ✨abundantly✨ clear how grateful we are! 😁

I purchased a rack of ribs and half of a chicken to go. The ribs were very good. I have celiac disease and they were very careful with my food. The atmosphere was nice while I waited. They have indoor and outdoor dining. I will definitely be going back.

We ate at home and then went to their food truck. These gluten-free arepas are to die for! I tried the pork arepa with the hot cilantro sauce. The best choice is spicy cilantro. The pork has excellent seasoning and a robust flavor; the cilantro sauce merely enhances these qualities. Empanadas made without gluten are also available.

Ordered a gluten free medium Mediterranean pizza for delivery. When it arrived I paid cash for it without looking at it. Big mistake. It was not the pizza I ordered. It was supposed to come with pesto sauce, artichoke hearts, fresh tomatoes, meat, onions, mushrooms. The pizza I received was a pepperoni & mushroom pizza with minimal toppings & tomato sauce. Not worth the $28 + tip. At least the crust was correctly gluten free.

Angie our waitress was awesome and she gets five stars. I would give her more stars personally if I could. They restaurant gets five stars because everybody’s meal came out hot. Where does that happen? I took off a star because my meal did not come with everything that I was told it would. To resolve the issue would take at least 20 minutes to cook the other portion of my meal and I decided against the wait. Angie apologized profusely and did the unexpected and compensated my meal by paying for it herself. I have severe gluten and soy allergy and she did everything to make sure that my food was free of those ingredients including reading labels for me and making certain that things were cooked separately in a separate pot. Angie was wonderful.

This place has pretty good Pho, I always go with the chicken and have yet to have a bad experience. Some of the other dishes I haven't been as pleased with, but my wife loves the Garlic Wings. Im Celiac and have never had any issue eating here when advising them. I really enjoy the Pho after it's been sitting with all the condiments, really livens up the broth. Definitely recommend this place over a few other close spots for Pho.

Kent is in for a real treat! One of the most authentic premium Taiwanese tea shop has just hit Kent like a sweet storm. First of, they offer two types of tapioca pearls: one is the regular tapioca and one is their famous brown sugar tapioca, both of which they make on a daily basis and replace twice a day. Other boba shops don’t require their tapiocas to be changed out on a daily basis, a detail that speaks for their freshness and chewiness. They use the premium brown sugar from Taiwan to cook the boba in to make their signature brown sugar boba. Premium brown sugar offers several health benefits by providing people with energy and acting as a tasty flavor enhancer to encourage healthier eating. It can help kids stay nourished. Tapioca is a great topping for those who have a gluten allergy since it’s naturally gluten-free. Second, they cook their own sugar daily and use organic A2 milk in mixing the drinks. This helps with digestion and ensures that you’re drinking top quality ingredients without exposing your family to chemical contaminants. The strawberry purée is homemade and boy does it taste refreshing! It compliments delightfully with the matcha. Speaking of which, the shop uses the first harvest matcha, which if you are accustomed to Japanese culture, this quality of matcha is normally only available for ceremonial-drinking. This is top notch quality matcha! Many shops cannot or wouldn’t be able to say the same. The owners came over and talked to me personally asking for my feedback of their drinks. That was very welcoming and I can tell they genuinely care about their customers. This will be my permanent boba tea shop.

Great place for some very good Thai food. Banyan Tree definitely has great flavor and spice (if you ask). They had the Duck Curry on special and it was delicious. Drunken noodles are always a good choice. They have an amazing coconut rice that is by far better than Jasmine rice. The thai teas here are ok- they will hit the craving, but nothing special. If you are gluten allergy or dairy, they are GREAT at knowing and changing items as needed. They can be busy at times due to events at Showare, in which Waiting can be 40-50 minutes. Yes, the parking can suck if you are trying to park over by the restaurant itself- it's Kent station. What do you expect?!

Hard to hear. Outside ordering in new building. Loud traffic noise. But! Safe burgers on gluten-free diets. They serve sour dough bread. The sour dough enzymes break down the gluten and fungicides in the wheat, so safer choice than barley gluten rich wheat buns loaded with Monsanto fungicides and pesticides in non-organic wheats. I can ask for sour dough bread on any sandwich. Want it without the greasy grill option, thank you. Their ketchup has high fructose corn syrup, so I refuse to eat it. Allergic. Vomit. Asthma. Otherwise, best fast food choice.
