One of my favorite places for a burger in the Tacoma area. There was a learning curve for eating gluten free here but feel very comfortable now with staff knowledge. Service is attentive and it is a good place to enjoy a relaxed lunch or dinner. Just a few things to keep in mind: only regular fries are GF, some of the sauces served with fries are not GF, and pay attention to the burger toppings (including burger of the month options). The 571 Burger, Juicy Lucy Black & Blue, Burger Dip (without herb au jus), Regular Parmesan Truffle Fries, Iced Tea, and Washington Triple Berry Shake are great options I have tried. While the Three Pepper Bomb Burger, Truffle Mushroom Burger, The Fatted Sow Burger, Poutine Burger, Jimmy Burger, Waffle Fries, and Chocolate Shake are favorites with family and friends. Very popular with locals so there can be long wait times since reservations are not available. There is outdoor seating in the summer – both at the restaurant and around Point Ruston. While indoor seating is limited – there is seating available for larger groups. To go ordering is available. There is a tablet near the door to validate garage parking.
Known for a cozy atmosphere and perfectly cooked seafood, this spot guarantees a delightful dining experience with stellar service.

Great spot for delicious seafood. We had the crab dip, blackened rockfish, and mahi tacos with the boathouse margaritas. The service was efficient, friendly, and faster than expected, especially on a holiday. The drinks are great and well crafted. The menu clearly identified gluten-free options, so it was easy to order. They have gluten-free buns, so you can enjoy the dips even with a gluten allergy.
Incredible sushi awaits with stunning presentations and consistent quality that showcases the chefs' expertise in a pristine setting.

Outstanding sushi, probably the best we've had in years. Incredibly celiac safe with knowledgeable staff on avoiding gluten (GF soy sauce and real crab!). The service was spectacular and the food was top notch. Cannot recommend enough.
This cozy spot boasts Instagram-worthy decor and a vibe that makes you want to return every morning for delightful drinks and eats.

Their gluten free pastries that are not packaged come in from the bakery in the same boxes as regular pastries and are stored with regular pastries. cross contamination central!
My daughter is gluten intolerant and had their pancakes. When the taste was off they readily made her fresh ones we were so grateful. More restaurants need to handle food allergies like IHOP!!!
Everything is delicious. The staff is friendly, and they are good at recognizing repeat customers. The fish and chips is a great value and enough food for two moderate eaters. Their burgers are fantastic. They will provide gluten free or lettuce wrap, too.
Build your own burger with endless options and unique local waffle delivery makes for a fun lunch spot with great vibes and decent drinks.

Had a great lunch here. Love that you can build a burger (so many great options, gluten free if you want, and tons of sauces, which I love). Decent beer selection and my husband had the Chicken and Waffles and he said it was amazing! The waffles are delivered from a local bakery, so they were extra nice.
Love this place!! My wife who has a gluten allergy loves it to. One of the only places she can go and eat French fries since that is all they put.on the fryers.
Experience a unique sushi spot with a fun dry-erase menu and a focus on tasty rolls, though cooked options may be limited.

I'm gluten free and love sushi, so I'm always ecstatic to find a sushi place that understands gf! They had gf soy sauce on request, and the menu had a blurb at the bottom that said all the sauces are made gf. I was so excited, I ordered the unagi (eel), which I love but never get to order because of the sauce. Turns out, their eel sauce wasn't gf either, but the staff did bring the roll with the sauce on the side (which my friend could eat). So, not quite what I was hoping for, but at least they caught it while I was ordering and there was no awkward sending the food away. On the plus side, they had classic sushi options and some very tasty rolls I haven't seen before! The staff was helpful and very good about refilling our water often. I love that the menus are laminated and you write in what you want with a dry-erase marker, including comments! Great way to make sure everything is right. Overall, definitely coming back if I'm in the area!
