Great place for breakfast. Very generous portions and great service. The breakfast was delicious, and I could barely eat it all.
They have an early bird special.
Special note they have gluten-free toast, and the home fries are homemade, not frozen. Give them a try
So lucky to have eaten here tonight as all tables were reserved. There was enough time to squeeze us in.
We started with Carpaccio di Manzo an appetizer of thinly sliced tenderloin which was on a plate with dollops of ricotta and chunks of peaches and a sprinkling of Casa Toscana’s liquid gold olive oil. My goodness if all I had was this dish I would have been happy.
I had the Polipettine Della Nonna spaghetti and meatballs which was a mixture of meats and house made pasta. The flavor was amazing and I loved the noodle to meatball ratio.
Hubby had the Pasta alla Genovese which was a slow braised meat. He had to have gluten free pasta but said it was good. It appeared to have a white wine sauce.
We did have to ask for bread which was minor (he may have thought we didn’t want it as hubby is celiac). I’m glad I asked as the bread was so good, dipped in their awesome olive oil with a bit of balsamic. For me, the appetizer and bread stole the show as well as the Gelato dessert. Hubby had cafe mocha and I had pineapple.
There was live music; an amazing classical guitarist and he was so good!
There was a fountain near our table and a little bird hopping around drinking water making for a great ambiance out on the deck!
Lastly, our waiter Devin was very good and attentive! Overall it was a great experience!
I had the Reuben sandwich with a salad. My only issue (my own intolerance) was there is no gluten free bread. They were amazing to accommodate me with putting it on a bed of lettuce, messy but still quite delicious! The salad was plentiful, and they had oil and vinagre on hand, so we're well aware of store bought dressings having wheat.
Fries are coated, so I couldn't taste them but my nephew said they were good. Burger that my son had was huge and he liked it. Biggest thing is I asked for no onions....and I got no onions!!
Best smoothies I’ve ever had! Been here more than once. Have recommended to multiple people.
Pros:
- All burrito, wraps, salads & rice bowls are made fresh in front of you
- Have options for people with food restrictions (gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, food allergies, keto)
- Have a large selection
- The protein they use in smoothies doesn’t have that grainy texture
- Smoothies don’t have chunks in them
- Service is quick
- Their employees are very approachable and easy to talk to
- They have a tracking card that gives you a free salad, smoothie, burrito, rice bowl or wrap (buy 10 get 1 free)
Cons:
- They recently increased their prices (in my opinion the food is worth the cost)
I have celiac and I’ve never had a problem with this restaurants food! I picked up today and the food prep was quick, the man who gave me my food was very friendly and the food was prepared exactly to my specifications
I have celiac and Christina was super helpful and took the time to thoroughly clean everything +food was awesome!! It’s decorated very spooky for Halloween 🎃🎃🎃
As someone with a gluten-intolerance, this is one of the only pizza places in the area that I haven’t gotten an allergic reaction from. They offer keto/cauliflower crust pizza that’s super delicious. I highly recommend them so if you’re in the area, check them out. The staff is super sweet so that’s always a plus. Thank me later!
Teddys has been a staple since I was little. Teddy style hot wings are the best. Non breaded and no gluten in those also. Pricey, but at least thursdays offer half price wings if you dine in. I like the new patio addition in the back.
