Two friends and I had a lovely Moms Day off brunch here. First time visiting, I’d googled places my friend, who’s celiac, would be able to find good options. We opened the door and were greeted with a smile from the host and the wonderful smells of fresh baked goodies. There wasn’t a wait, but I wouldn’t have minded as I’d have had more time to look through to-go items for sale in the front. Our sever was friendly and prompt. Helped me decide between two things I was interested in, thoroughly assured my friend on what was gluten-free, substitutes to make things so, and our coffees were never empty. I will absolutely be coming back with my family soon.

It was my first time trying this place, and for being celiac certified, it made me feel so much safer to eat here. I got the Ottawa burger and a poutine. Both were hands down, so freaking good. Our server Dawn was also amazing she made me and my family feel very welcoming. You guys should also start selling you bacon mayo. I would buy that by the truck loads. Lol

A group of 12 of us went for lunch to celebrate a birthday, and everything was perfect! The food was delicious, with the chef asking questions to ensure the gluten-free needs of our party were addressed, and Danielle's service was the best I have ever seen, even in 5 star restaurants. She intuitively met all our needs while never seeming to hover, and handled bringingout 2 cakes with everything needed seamlessly. I will make Heart and Crown Barrhaven our go-to spot for casual dining!

While in Ottawa for the day, I met and had a beautiful dinner in the early evening with my niece on November 5th, at Cyranos, my 3rd time there; Paula was our very thoughtful and thorough server. (I have lactose and gluten intolerances.) As a starter, the “creamed” tomato soup, sans lactose, wow! Main for me was the grilled marinated lamb chops, rare and fabulous! I look forward to my next visit! Thank you Cyranos staff!

Probably my favourite place to eat at in Ottawa! I highly recommend the Piri Piri bowl, it’s full of flavour and my whole family loves it too. I’ve been getting it for 3 years now and my favourite thing about Mad Radish are the various healthy options. Not to mention the friendly service, Brian was amazing and helped my family and me with such great customer service! Don’t forget to get a chocolate chip cookie, those are my favourite cookies ever and are gluten free! Mad Radish is truly such a gem to have in Ottawa.

I have been ordering here for years. I am gluten free and always get the rare beef pho, it is always delicious and fresh as well as being gluten free and safe for me to eat. The staff are amazing and helpful, I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know.

Honestly this place is one of mine and my husband's favourites. It's super affordable, they have a cocktail I'm obsessed with, and we really like the food. 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and a cocktail came to $65... can't beat that! We will continue to be regulars here. I'm also celiac and they know exactly what that means. Would absolutely recommend as an affordable date night or meet up for friends.

Christmas Dinner superb!! Thanks to our local Greenbank Mall newsletter, I noted that Fitz's was offering prepaid take out dinners. There were a few meal options to choose from. Our meal was fantastic! The turkey was moist, dressing tasty, and turnips , carrots and potatoes were in good quantity. The gravy was so flavourful. The meal was picked up the day prior with easy reheating instructions. Thank you for making my Christmas so easy by accommodating a gluten free request. Nancy

Had a great brunch today with my friends. The tables were properly separated, the servers wore their masks and did a great job disinfecting tables. The food was delicious and had so many gluten free options (I have celiac) there were also great vegetarian options! Will definitely go back again!

Please be cautious if you have a gluten intolerance or allergy... It was my first time ordering here and I explained to my waitress that I was gluten intolerant and asked what I could eat off of the menu... She showed me what I could order, and commented that the gluten free English muffin had rave reviews... I ordered the fit fare with the gf English muffin... Our food arrived, I tasted the gf English muffin and commented "this can't be gf" ... I had my mother taste it and she mentioned that it probably was... I ate about a quarter of it, and when the waitress passed by I commented on how good it was... She immediately said "that's not the gf English muffin"... I stopped eating and was immediately upset...i specified my dietary restrictions, I asked for help in choosing appropriate options...and still I was served something that made me incredibly sick and sent me to the hospital... Two days off work, and still recovering...

Excellent pizza, excellent service! This is by far the best Milano’s I have ordered from in Ottawa (and I have ordered from several others). The pizza is delicious and always ready on time for pickup. I have never had to wait a single time I have gone in for pickup and the food is always incredibly fresh and warm. The staff is also very friendly. In my opinion, they have the best gluten-free crust of any I have tried. I am so happy I discovered this location!

My wife and I went for date night here and we were not disappointed. We were told it would be about a 20 minute wait to be seated and the staff were extremely accommodating and said we could sit at the bar and get drinks while we waited. Upon ordering our drinks my wife realized that she had ordered a wine she had tried previously that she did not like. Once we were seated promptly to a table my wife asked if she could exchange her glass of wine for one she knew she liked. Shortly after the manager arrived at our table. She was friendly, warm, and exchanged my wife’s glass of wine for another wine she enjoyed. I cannot stress enough just how great the managers presence was. On top of the outstanding service; Kelsey’s has truly elevated the quality of their food. And they accommodated my wife who was still able to enjoy the famous spinach dip with corn chips because she’s gluten free. We will most definitely go back to this location.

Food & Service were excellent. Being Celiac it was amazing how they catered to my dietary needs. Had a great burger wrapped in lettuce & the fries are done in a fryer that does not have other foods done in it. The staff were very knowledgeable & made sure my food was gluten free. When I walked in I was greeted right away by kind employees. I have gluten and dairy intolerances and the employees made me feel incredibly comforted in telling me what things they could recommend. My food was served instantly, and it was DELICIOUS! I would happily come here as much as I can

Great bar with lively atmosphere but not too loud that you can’t talk to the people at your table. There are so many beers and everyone enjoyed the ones they tried. There is a good selection of mocktails for those looking for non alcoholic drinks and different ciders for gluten free. We tried the scorched old fashion and sangria neither were overly impressive. I would stick to the beer/cider next time. There are gluten free options on the menu, I went with the Soco Chicken it comes with a nice sauce, the vegetables were well cooked and a huge chicken breast. It was nicely plated and tasted great! Another person we were with had the chicken burger it looked great. The Chicken Curry Rice bowl looked great also and was enjoyed, not a spicy curry more on the sweeter side. Our server was great, very friendly and quick service. We would go back again!

Went there on a busy Saturday night and as a Celiac, it can be stressful when the restaurant is busy. But our server (I’m so sorry I didn’t hear her name correctly but I want to say Martina) was an absolute delight. She was aware of celiac disease and reassured me quickly. The staff that helped her carry the food was also aware and careful. Floor manager was going from table to table to make sure everyone was having a good evening and mentioned that celiac runs in the owners family so they take good precautions. Food was delicious, service impeccable and price reasonable. We will definitely go back!

Burritos that don't fall apart as soon as you unwrap them! You can actually eat them in the car without making a mess, which I've found is the case for several other brands. Allergy-friendly, they have gluten-free tortillas available (make sure to mention at the cash if you have any dietary restrictions like celiac).

Visited last night. Overall, we enjoyed our meals. However: it was very loud (in general, not due to music) and we all had trouble hearing each other from one end of the table to the other (two tables pulled together). The waitress seemed distracted/bothered and/or couldn't hear us herself and twice missed something that was requested. Ordered a lemon drop martini ($14!!!) and the glass was about 3/4 full, almost like someone had taken a sip or two before it was served, and the stem of the glass was sticky. All of our food was lukewarm instead of hot. For the women, there was only one bathroom with only two stalls, and one was out of order, causing lineups of 3 people or more at times. And finally, there was nothing on the menu to indicate which meals were gluten-free except for mentioning that gluten-free buns were available for burgers. The waitress didn't know either. We were surprised that something that simple was left off the menu; there were spots for alcohol-free items on the menu, but nothing to show what was gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan. The food was tasty though and we all particularly enjoyed the whipped feta with sundried tomato pesto appetizer, but it needed another naan with it as we had cheese left over; We wound up eating the rest of the cheese with our utensils.

The students put together a great experience. Fantastic ingredients. Service and food is done by students so it's never perfect and I've found reservations to be sometimes complicated but it's a very nice experience. Worth a visit. Gluten free options and good with accommodating other allergies.

Last weekend we had small pizza, steak sub, and 2 salads. The food was hot and fresh. The young man was very pleasant as always. This week I ordered two mediums (1 GF) with two salads. Once again the food was hot and fresh. Gunna demo my pizza right now. This is my go to for steak subs in Ottawa now. Salads are a great value as their freshness means they can be eaten later in th week. Top quality vegatables. The Gluten Free pizzas are also very good. Thanks for remaking the Pizzas! Great service the food was made gluten-free it was a larger portion than I thought. The service was positive, polite and very quick. The place has good seating and was a clean restaurant. Lots of parking available and it’s close to many stores Costco’s in Barrhaven and Tim Hortons, dollarama, Rens pet store ect… we didn’t use the bathroom so we don’t know what that’s like. But it’s pleasant and quiet while we were there. The food was really good we had large nachos which we weren’t able to finish as yes it was a large portion very surprising how much the could mount on a platter. Well done!!! 😊
