I ate a gluten-free pizza which costs an extra 3500 CRC but was delicious. I ask for contamination. They said, they cook it in the same oven, but they’ll clean the tray and everything. So I ate it and had no symptoms afterwards. It also came on a wooden plate, which is also a contamination risk, but for me it was fine that day. Maybe they use these plates only for the gluten-free pizzas.
The staff was really friendly and explained everything with patience.
Enjoy stunning ocean views while savoring handmade pizza with amazing texture, all served in a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.

Finally something decent to eat in this country..
Good GF pizza, great GF pasta (recommending the tomato and mozzarella sauce), nice servers and what would've been a nice view if it wasn't dark out.
Only dissapiontment is the additional cherge for the gluten free (1,500 colones for the 2 dishes).
Nestled in a serene spot, this gem boasts an inviting atmosphere with standout dishes and excellent service that make every visit memorable.

This place is a must-visit in Monteverde (even with the trek) don’t miss out!!! The food was INCREDIBLE!! It was also great because they were gluten-free friendly! We had the Senda Soup, Pork Chop, Beef Tenderloin and gluten free Churros for dessert and all of it was immaculate. We don’t have any notes, truly. 10/10 recommend for food alone, but on top of that, the service was incredible - very kind, funny and personable staff (Edwin was our server)! The atmosphere was lovely and relaxing and just all around great. The price is higher but it’s definitely worth it!
