I am in a wheelchair and sometimes need help getting in. I have a helper with me and we are always well received. One thing that could be better, I think the tables are a little too close together, so the private area is a little noisy - but that's all. Otherwise it is great and you can get gluten-free.

Café Faust has my highest recommendation! The staff were all really nice and helpful! We both had their favorite brunch - mine, however, gluten-free. They all had a handle on what contained gluten in their brunch. I was offered to replace the few foods that contained gluten with gluten-free foods. The gluten-free bread came on its own plate, and I could just say if I wanted more. It wasn't dry at all, as gluten-free bread can often be. It was really good bread. The brunch was delicious, fresh and really tasty. It is certainly not the last time we visit Café Faust when we go to Aarhus. Huge recommendation from here!

Great glutenfree experience as well as the normal pizza. The taste was superior to other pizzas like it, something unique with the sauce and cheese and tomatoes probably. The salad and dressing was by default seperate so the pizza doesn't get cold and soggy. And the glutenfree variant had cute drawings on it so there was no doubt which was GF. Wish the opening hours was earlier and longer so I could do pickup right after work - then I would buy there much more often 🤣 But besides that pizza and service was absolutely above and beyond. The perfect amount of salad and dressing too - I just didn't use it all on my picture yet 😅 and the dressing was so much better than most pizza places. Doesn't drown out all other flavour and is thinner so it melts with the other flavours. And only 15DKK extra for GF! Finally I can afford ordering pizza again 💗

If I could I would give it 0 stars!! We were just there and ordered a Happy Meal with a gluten-free cheeseburger for our son who has celiac disease. It is unbelievable what happened to us. A burger containing gluten was put in the Happy Meal. After our son had eaten half the burger, the employee came to our table with the gluten-free burger. We were shocked and angry. All we got was a sorry and the employee turned around and left. Sorry but that borders on negligent bodily harm. This is really the last straw!!!

It is also a very child-friendly pizzeria! The owner is always available - even on his weddingday! I had to call because I got the wrong order, and I recieved THE BEST service - and this was on his weddingday! Also, the owner remembers both me and my boyfriend every time we visit, and we receive the best service with good energy everytime. I soon don't know what was better, the service or the food. As gluten intolerant, Basso is simply one of the best restaurants in Aarhus. Food is top notch and at a super fair price. We bought 2 sandwiches with a drink earlier today. We were told that one could be made gluten-free and lactose-free, which we then ordered. But either it doesn't fit or it is prepared on the same surface and kitchenware as the regular sandwiches, with the result that the sandwich was thereby contaminated. Because the undersigned fell ill with vomiting a few hours later.
So you either have to tighten up on hygiene or drop pseudo-offers for people with food intolerances.
