Tonight we had the pleasure of enjoying gluten free 'fish and chips' from Catch & Co. Everything was crispy and perfectly cooked (we had gurnard, onion rings, potato fritters and chips). What I love most is that both my daughter and I, who are coeliac, can enjoy our meals without worry. Catch & Co has become our go-to spot for a satisfying, safe, and delicious meal.

Big burgers with good sides. Real meat, no fillers.
Gluten-free, bunless, and vegan options.
Dairyfree milkshake options with soy.
I have found inconsistencies between franchises. Some are great with attention to your specific dietary requirements and some not. Hamilton burgerfuel was messy. Burgers were rushed assembled, and the avocado was off.
Wellington was great. I'm a carnivore, and I just ate the meat with no buns or even sauce.
New plymouth are friendly, and all burgers are well presented, and all food is labeled easily.
Great for families with allergies. A good range.
Pricey with burgers just under the $20 mark.
An average cost for a family of four, around $90 to $100 with sides and drinks
A top spot for breakfast with a lively atmosphere, though it can get crowded; it's loved for its diverse menu and attentive experience.

Loved our dinner at Area 41. Friendly service and very accommodating as we have 2 children and I'm gluten and dairy free. The kids have never eaten so much at a restaurant, plates completely clean. Nice wine and beer list.
Experience a playful vibe with exciting dishes and a surprise pizza that missed the mark, but the ribs and camembert shine bright!

Lovely service. Chicken Vindaloo was tasty, had the meatballs (gluten free) with salsa verde as well which were pretty good but not as good as the vindaloo. Restaurant was a little too warm when we dined. Worth a try, and wouldn't mind coming back next time we're in town, not many places do Indian and Meatball fusion.
A must-visit spot with an incredible vibe and a variety of unique options that keep everyone coming back for more!

100% delicious poke bowls: a perfect variety of flavours, colours, ingredients. Every bowl comes with avocado, kimchi, cabbage, fried onions, edamame, carrot, and a few other things. We enjoyed the half and half rice and spinach base option, which felt like a more light balance than a full bowl of rice. Amazingly, the entire menu is gluten-free and dairy-free! It's a really good area to eat in general, enclosed by a variety of food trucks; we've had some of the best food in the country from them.
Friendly and welcoming. The mean we had was delicious! Generous helpings. Gluten free was available on exactly what one of us wanted. Recommend it to anyone.
Tucked away just outside town, this gem offers great coffee, tasty veggie options, enchanting vibes and, bonus, it's pup-friendly!

4 of us dined in for my husbands birthday dinner, we were greeted by a very nice waitress and shown to our table. I was so happy to see the different dietary options they provide on the menu. I ordered a chicken burger (changing to GF option), their fries aren't GF since they are cooked in the same vat as gluten containing products so they offered to do me a potato mash which came with pumpkin chutney, and ordering GF garlic bread as entrée (there were 3 but I already ate one before taking the photo!) The food was absolutely amazing! Both waitress and waiter were fabulous and the restaurant/Cafe itself is very cozy and very fair in pricing. We have found our favorite eatery.

Wow, just had the best ever Gluten Free toasted sandwich from Oscars Kiwi Cafe. Better than anyone I've ever had. Amazing chicken, bacon Pie. Extremely friendly staff. Will definitely be back. Thanks Ladies for staying open for us.
We dined here tonight, as a table of 3. Grant was our waiter. What outstanding service. He was very attentive and polite. He was also helpful with the menu as I have celiac disease. Beautiful meal enjoyed by all of us. We will be back.
Best gluten free pizza in New Plymouth. Dedicated and well informed about dietary requirements. Recommend the Hawaiian pizza, great base light and airy with lots of topping.
Amazing! Everything we had was so so good. So many gluten and dairy free options we were spoilt for choice so going again tomorrow night so we can try some more. Thanks for a fab night.

I beautifully presented restaurant with superb food. (I got takeaways). It was a little more than your average takeaways, but worth every cent! They helped me with gluten-free dishes and although I always choose mild, there was no lacking in flavour and they use really delicious fresh ingredients. I am already a fan!
Homely ambiance in a family-friendly converted barn decorated with Dutch art and vintage timber furniture. Hearty homestyle food in generous portions. I tried the Prutje pancake in the gluten-free option and had to take half home for dinner. The staff were friendly and attentive, although granted I was the only diner at the time.
Food snobs probably wouldn't enjoy this place, but if - like me - you are charmed by roosters named Grandfather, handmade country style food and charming surroundings, this place is worth a visit.

Excellent service and superb food. They helped me find gluten free options in the menu and even adapted the pig trotter wonton. I'm so glad I didn't have to miss out on that one, it was the highlight of my dinner. I will definitely be back.

Great value for money and really tasty food! We visited for the first time over Easter weekend after a recommendation from friends. Restaurant was spacious and clean. The staff member serving at the counter was warm, friendly and very helpful with answering our questions about the menu. Good range on the menu with options for gluten free diners. We like the small bites options, an opportunity to sample a few different dishes at affordable prices. We ordered takeaway and the food was delicious. The servings were generous but felt light and clean to eat. Found out after dinner that they support local community fundraisers by donating 15% of sales every Tuesday night to a local group. Love this! We've already been back and will definitely be going there again.

As a treat today I ordered a gluten free small Pita for lunch. (I rarely eat takeaways) Opened it when I got home and what a disappointment. For $14.50 I got 4 or 5 TINY pieces of lamb the size of a thumbnail. Sooo stingy!

OK place and they have some vegan and gluten free options. Great onion bhaji. Unfortunately the cauliflower and potato dish was very salty and not great. But they gave us a replacement which was nice. Quite expensive, e.g. the rice for the mains has an extra charge.

Stopped in on the way on our little road trip, while tucked away just off the main strip this place is a gem, friendliest staff you could ever want, the food was delicious and they catered to our gluten free needs. Very pleased with this cafe.
The staff were friendly, but it's very outdated.. The gluten free burger was OK, they have other options that are gluten free but they aren't celiac friendly so that was a bit of a let down.. Might go occasionally for a drink but that's about it 😊
