A lovely little cafe in Leigh on sea. I am gluten free (gluten allergy - staff were knowledgeable and knew about shared fryers etc) and had lots of options without missing out on much (only change to English breakfast was to swap sausage out). A lovely atmosphere and if you have a dog it is a perfect spot! Look forward to returning in summer

Excellent steak meal with friends. And very good to be able to choose from a gluten- free menu. If one thing could have been better, it would have been the king prawn cocktail - the prawns were good, but the marie rose sauce was poor, and it was served on plain iceberg only, in a 'bowl' plate thing with a stupidly wide rim, that tips over all the time.

We had a lovely meal after a long walk at the Peterboat. At first we were dubious, there were a lot of kids and this can be a red flag when it comes to quality experiences. But we were wrong, our waitress was excellent - really engaging and helpful, recommended some great dishes. And the food was pretty faultless for pub grub, everything we ate was lovely. The gluten free jam roly poly was especially good, achieved a great texture. Recommended pub for the food alone! (If you can withstand the kids!)

Amazing food, perfect customer service and a nice atmosphere. Had the best focaccia and arancine ever and both were gluten free! Even with a gluten free and vegan diet they catered our needs without any complaints. Highly recommended!

We had the best time tonight for our date night. Good food. Amazing service from Fran, great conversation made us laugh. Als9 they have a great gluten free menu with choices for all intolerance and allergies. Perfect for me with my gluten and dairy allergy. Thank you everyone xx

Went in the summer for their afternoon tea with the Under the Sea theme and it was incredible. We had multiple dietary requirements, one gluten free, one vegan, two veggie and one normal and they were all handled perfectly. Couldn’t be more impressed with the service too.

I rang several take aways before trying Fortune Garden to see if they would accommodate for a coeliac (Gluten Free) member. All others palmed me off with swift NO's, so I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and accomodating the staff were, when not only did they say they could, but how knowledgeable they were on the matter as well. They even offered to make non-gluten free meals, suitable should we want them. Fantastic service, really great food and the delivery lady was also extremely friendly. Refreshing at see that a great service can be given with out the fuss. I will use again and again from here on. Westcliff, SS0

Great food and service, they even have gluten free pasta which is lovely so I had more options to choose from. They don't have a separate gluten free menu so I was worried about going there but they were very helpful
