Even though it was busy they took time to thoroughly wipe everything down and make sure it was clean for no cross-contamination for allergies. Excellent staff who took their time to make sure it was safe for me to eat gluten free!
A lively spot with welcoming vibes, offering a variety of cheesy combos and a fun atmosphere, perfect for families and casual hangouts.

My son wanted to have his birthday lunch at I Heart Mac & Cheese. It was our first time. This is a franchise location and the owner was very friendly and helpful.
My husband ordered the short rib Philly mac & cheese with classic mac & cheese bacon jalapeño bites.
The birthday boy had a build your own grilled cheese on Sourdough with white cheddar, yellow cheddar, mozzarella, muenster, and pepperoni, with classic mac& cheese bites, and tater tots.
My younger son had build your own mac with pasta, cheese sauce, mojo pulled pork, white cheddar, Muenster, and bread crumbs.
I had the classic mac and cheesy broccoli.
The food was delicious. We were all happy. And, they serve Coke products. There are fountain and bottled options. Plus some kind of coffee machine.
Parking in the structure behind the building was easy and free.
Bonus, we happened to come in during happy hour (M-F 3-5), which my husband greatly appreciated and sealed the deal that we will be coming back.
We saw that there were gluten-free and vegan options. Even options for making more of a protein bowl.
I highly recommend you check this place out.
Pictures show short rib Philly with bacon jalapeño bites (minus some that he gave to share), and the classic mac with cheesy broccoli. Sorry, I didn't get good pics of the others.
Limited unique options are perfect for fueling up during long flights, making it a go-to stop at the terminal.

Just about the only gluten free option availability at the Tom Bradley terminal. I actually bought a second burger to eat straight away. This was enough to help get me through 38 hours of long haul flights.
A standout spot where attention to detail and commitment to customer experience truly shine, ensuring a memorable visit.

I have celiacs, and I really appreciate how Carle took the time think about their cooking process, explain to me the gluten risks, and assure me of the steps they would be taking to ensure I got safe food. He also was keeping a tally of his remaining patties for the night to make sure he didn’t waste food. Looked like he was already manager, and I congratulate Built for promoting someone who takes their work and especially customer satisfaction so seriously!
Perfect for a late airport stop, offering tasty eats even if portions feel a little small and prices a bit high, but it hits the spot!

We got stuck in the airport due to cancellations, and slap fish was the only place open. I needed to get something gluten free and the cashier was very helpful. I think everything was a bit overpriced for the portions, but it tasted good and it was a hot meal.
Amazing - came here with my two young daughters, one vegetarian and one gluten free, and we had an incredible meal that satisfied all of us. We’ve just spent 3 weeks travelling around and have had a variety of food in 3 different states - tonight’s dinner has got to be one of the best of the entire trip! Serving sizes don’t match the classic standard US serving size - but that’s the beauty of it: you get a good meal that is full of flavour and you pay an appropriate price. Very happy!
It’s definitely an upscale American dinner. Huge bar. What you would expect on the menu. There were gluten free buns with the burgers. I got the fish tacos without yogurt sauce. They were good, little soggy but that’s sorta to be expected with juicy fish. There was a skewer through the tacos that ripped a hole in the tortilla; not necessary. The beans and rice were very well seasoned; that was an unexpected plus. Not much for me in the desert department; full of gluten and dairy. Service was typical. Pleasant enough. Over all not bad just typical.
Expect a dedicated approach to cleanliness and attentiveness that makes for a reassuring and enjoyable experience.

I asked for a gluten-free sub and was met with the response that my food would take slightly longer as the sides had to be sanitized to ensure no cross contamination took place. On top of this, my server also changed their gloves to help with this. The staff really couldn't have been any more friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I enjoyed it so much I had to go back a second time on my trip to L.A.

SO disappointed. I eat gluten-free, not celiac. I tried to order grilled chicken and was told they didn't have any. How can you make such a big deal about having gluten-free sauce when you have nothing to put it on? I didn't even bother to look at anything else. I can get fries anywhere.
I have Celiac disease and was very excited to see BLD offered gluten-free options during my layover at LAX. I told the woman working the front counter that I had Celiac disease. She let me know cross-contamination could occur, and I told her I understood (unless my food is dropped in flour or malt, I tend to be okay with cross-contamination).
I then asked her about the fries: if they had a coating and if they were also gluten-free. The woman assured me the fries were gluten-free, and so I ordered them. Since she had seemed aware of the risks of cross-contamination, I assumed she would be knowledgeable about the fries.
The french fries at BLD *DO* contain gluten, and I became very ill, very quickly. To be fair, I noticed the fries had a coating when I opened my container and said to my partner: "I wonder what they use for the coating since they're gluten-free." I should've found the coating suspicious, but I trusted the information I was given because I specifically asked about the fry coating and possibility of fry gluten.
Feeling like your stomach is being stabbed and then becoming very ill when you have a 3 hour flight ahead of you is a horrible experience. And it was an experience that could've been completely avoided had I not been given wrong information about allergens that trigger my medical condition.
If you are Celiac, maybe see if there is somewhere else to eat. If not and it's your only option, do NOT eat the fries.
Get ready for a delicious pizza experience with a variety of options that impress even the biggest food lovers!

Delicious thin crust pizza! We loved the gluten-free crust option and vegan cheese options! My kids said they liked the gluten-free crust better than the traditional crust!
This place had a really long line, but they still had out pizzas ready within 15-20 minutes of ordering.
Don't forget their sweet potato fries! They are perfectly crunchy and so yummy!
Their arugula salad was also top-notch. I added feta cheese instead of parmasan, which made it more to my liking.
Definitely Delectablely Delicious!
Meat lovers rejoice at this awesome ramen spot with a garlic twist and a variety of delicious options that'll keep you coming back!

O.MG.....So good!
Attention meat lovers, get more meat! Yes it's $5 extra BUT. . . It's worth it! I'm constantly hunting down Ramen joints and found THE Ramen JOINT! They've got all your options of just plain amazing!
I'm a garlic freak and they've got garlic chips! Won't be getting to close to the wife tonight but it was worth it!
KELVIN was my server and be sure to ask for him and he'll make sure you get exactly what you want and if you don't know, he'll help!
They have gluten free options available but NOT gluten free noodles.
I'm very glad I had the chance to come here and will very much be sure to come back again!
As I fill out this review I see 👀 the pork fries 🍟 and that's where I gotta go or bills ain't gonna get paid! . . .it probably would still be worth it!
The best XL pepperoni outside of Brooklyn!
The Hawaiian is perfect on a spongey crust!
The Manhattan Man is mouthwatering, Homer Simpson style!
The Veggie on gluten-free is a savory fave!
Add a chopped salad to every order.
Hot pepper flakes recommended.
Cozy vibe with a delightful combo of homemade flavors and hearty meals, perfect for a casual outing or a tasty alternative to cooking.

Chicken soup 🍲 Surf & Turf Borroto were devine.
I personally love the soup it wasn't spicy the spice was on the side it wasn't overly spiced out you could feel the chicken broth and the fresh boiled chicken with slices of squash and zucchini and if you carry it to pieces with some cabbage which makes it a healthy combination that I really enjoyed.
It comes with a choice of tortilla you can get corn that's gluten free I suppose and the side of rice small portion with some diced onions on the side.
The surf and turf was definitely a big meal consisting of beef and shrimps. We added guacamole and sour cream which gives it a whole different taste. It comes with bell peppers stuffed in it and some cheese and on the side some tortilla chips that was tasty and well fried.
The stuff were very lovely and friendly we ended up sitting outside, it's a nice corner for food that tastes like homemade we were going to the Cinco de Mayo down the street but I'm so glad we ended up with the start of food instead that's definitely a plus if you don't feel like cooking and still want some homemade Grandma type of food.
The spot near the airport offers a fun mix of food, an aircraft display, and a playground that makes it perfect for families to unwind before flights.

We had some time to kill before our flight back to the east coast, so we decided to check out The Proud Bird, near the airport. My husband had been here many years ago when it was just a restaurant, but the renovations done to provide a variety of food and drinks was similar to something we have in our home town. We weren't starving so we just ordered 2 pizzas to share, and they were delicious! I had a gluten free barbeque chicken pizza and I loved it! The playground was a perfect spot for our 6 year old and we all enjoyed walking around to see the planes on display. It was really neat every time I plane flew in too, as they were really close! Overall we had a great time here and would come back if we were in the area!
Divine!!! Love the Thai Jackfruit bowl ~ vegan and gluten-free and so delicious! The textures, the flavors, the thoughtful variety of each ingredient ~ perfection!
I go here all of the time because of proximity. It’s pretty much the only act in town or at least this corner. They have a lot of options for whatever allergies you may have (gluten-free, vegan, dairy free). And if you can eat anything, you’ll have so many healthy or full fat options. Great place for lunch, great variety. Love their avocado toast w/ egg & dirty matcha for breakfast and their beyond meat options or k-pop bowl for lunch. Sandwiches/salads are awesome too (Boar’s Head)

I started going to Hiro Nori in 2017, when they only had one location in Orange County. The fact that they've expanded so quickly, only speaks to the highest degree of how delicious their food is.
The Westchester location opened just a few days ago, and I'm over the moon! The food is delicious as ever, and I'm so excited that they're coming closer to the Westside. I hope they open a location on Sawtelle! ;) ;)
I ate the vegan ramen, and it did not disappoint. Lots of umami flavor and great textures. I'm gluten free, and unfortunately they don't carry GF noodles yet. All to say, you can substitute noodles for bean sprouts and it's equally delicious. Be sure to enjoy their spicy chili sauce and free garlic paste!
Parking: There is a parking lot about 4 stores down. It's free and has several spots that support all businesses in the plaza. Also plenty of street parking!
Love this place! Wishing them the best, and hoping for more restaurants soon!

Super welcoming! My husband and I come semi-regularly and enjoy both the ramen and sushi. Love that there are gluten free options for him. I wouldn’t recommend going hotter than medium unless you know what you’re doing!
This was a surprisingly great pizza and a great deal! I ended up saving half for my flight home.
We were really pleased that they can offer a truly gluten free pizza (without cross-contamination), too, for my friend with celiac.

The food is absolutely delicious and outstanding service!
I eat a strict gluten free diet because of celiac and I have eaten twice here and I have never gotten sick. Just be careful what to order and ask if you are not familiar with Middle Eastern cuisine. Highly recommend!
Generous portions and a warm welcome set the tone for a positive experience, making it a go-to spot before catching a flight.

I’m mainly reviewing the service this round. Excellent and friendly customer service. Shout out to the young lady greeting everyone at the front. The portions today were generous. Will be eating my food once I get to my terminal. I chose PF Chang’s today because of their gluten free options.
