We went for happy hour and are immediately obsessed. $6 house margarita, fantastic. $3 street tacos, delicious. They have a community table, beautiful patio, nice music. Menu specifies dairy free, vegetarian option, gluten free, and spicy.
Unique cauliflower crust and solid flavors make this spot a go-to for delicious pizza, right in the heart of San Francisco near Union Square.

Great service, very little wait. Pizzas were good, and love their gluten-free pizza options. Even though it’s a chain, it’s a nice place and worth the Uber!
Charming bistro vibe with an incredible burger that packs a unique horseradish kick—definitely worth a visit!

Lovely place, a classic bistro atmosphere, with great food and wine. The Marlowe burger is incredible, and it's gluten free without the bun. Honestly the burger I've ever had. Horseradish gives it a special kick!
There was a line outside the restaurant, but we didn't have to wait long to order and the food came out quickly.
The store's name is Birds, but is there a dog with a sandwich in its mouth painted on the signboard or on the wall? wolf? The illustrations are cute!
This is a system where you order and pay at the cash register, then pick up your order at the delivery counter.
I ordered a salad, which you can also add fried chicken as a topping.
You will be given a cup to drink your drink, so you can pour it yourself.
All food was served in paper bags for take-out.
You no longer have to deal with customers who switch to take-out, such as when they run out of time, and it's also easier to clean up trash inside the store.
The ultimate fried chicken and sandwich shop: Click here for spicy fried chicken in San Francisco! We had lunch at Bird, a recommended restaurant.
Bird Salad ($6.5)
Romaine lettuce center, baby kale mix, steamed beets, spelled flour, celery, apple
Dressing (separate): Champagne vinegar & honey, ranch, or blue cheese
The dressing was blue cheese.
There was only one type of salad, but the ingredients seemed to be health conscious and gluten-free conscious.
Being gluten free, pizza is often a disappointment for me. However, Empire was a pleasant surprise and has the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had! And they sell it by the slice (square)
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with outdoor seating, good portions, and high-quality ingredients that keep the crowds coming back.

The Grove is consistently high quality food. Good portions (justifying the prices) and high quality ingredients. Excellent gluten free bread!!
Recently opened a bar so they have a full liquor menu instead of the previous beer and wine only.
A lively late-night spot with a retro vibe, offering a fun atmosphere and a variety of options to satisfy different tastes.

Gluten free menu items clearly marked but not remotely celiac safe food. Extensive discussions with patient and friendly waiter who kept checking with kitchen and was not versed in truly gf food. Mixed fryer. When we opened our gluten free take out meal it was covered in gluten gravy. With bun in a separate box. They didn’t charge us which we appreciated.

All the meats in the bbq are marinated with gluten free sauces!! The servers were very knowledgeable about dietary allergies/intolerances and very helpful. Plus they sell their sauces if you want to take some home- yum!
Vibrant atmosphere with hearty dishes served a bit haphazardly, making for a memorable dining experience perfect for gatherings.

My recent lunch at Fang was a wonderful food experience. We were a group of nine from my department and we chose individual dishes that included dumplings and eggplant, mapo tofu, short ribs, sesame chicken, a gluten-free Mongolian beef, and a fish dish with zucchini I will order the next time. The fried rice was mixed at the table. I ordered the tofu (a spicy dish with tofu, vegetables and pork) and it was perfection.
It's not cheap and it's not very fancy but the service was prompt for ordering. The only quibble was that the dishes came out one at a time dinette erratically with the short ribs way last.
I had been there long before and liked it then, returning for my retirement lunch, I liked it again. I won't forget this restaurant for future rec omendations. Sorry i don't take photos.

Beautiful, gorgeous, and luxurious ambience. My husband took me out to afternoon tea here for our anniversary and I was just blown away at how majestic the Garden Court dining area was.
There was live piano and a good array of afternoon tea delights.
For those with celiac or gluten free allergies, they were able to accommodate.
The bottom line is good food. As a celiac, I had good experiences with their gluten free items. The house chips are addictive and the shrimp tacos are delicious. We ate here multiple times over our stay. Service is a bit slow, so you can’t be in a hurry. In the end the food is solid.
We loved the tacos - they were delicious. We had so much fun. Met Max the owner. He made us feel to welcome. I highly recommend coming here. Staff was attentive - great service. Gluten friendly.
