They have an excellent happy hour! Also the most delicious homemade gluten free pita. The tzatziki dip is the best I've ever had and saganaki is a childhood favorite. Highly recommend this location.

Wow. Why didn't we find this place earlier on our vacation. If you are looking for delicious gluten free or vegan options, then this is your place. Great, cozy restaurant with about 10 tableclothed tables inside and 10 outside. The service was impeccable. Portions are European in size (plenty, but not huge). The Angus burger was delicious. And we absolutely loved the apple/orange tart for dessert. And apparently they serve breakfast + lunch too so will have to come back to try that.

Looking for the great pizza? Lucile has got it. Pizza oven puts out the best crust! All fresh local ingredients. Choose from their menu choices or create your own. Plant Based... got you covered with many choices. Small intimate atmosphere, not noisy. Serves wine only, great selection. This is a great choice for everyone as they have choices for plant based, gluten free and vegetarians and meat eaters. Service was fantastic too!

Our waiter, Paul, was absolutely amazing. I have a gluten allergy and he was able to tell me what did and didn’t have gluten, including sauces, and provided me with a gluten free BBQ sauce since none of their other BBQ sauces on the table are gluten free. He was extremely kind as well!

Was there in mid December 2024, sat outside, waiter was great, had burgers (I am GF, had the swiss mushroom on GF bread, no issue, but I am not celiac), burgere were exceptionally good. Espresso Martini also very good. Will be back!

I recently dined at Classico with family and friends, and our experience was nothing short of spectacular. If you're navigating food allergies, this place is a godsend. I decided to go with the special which was blackened grouper, and it did not disappoint! The ambiance, service, and attention to detail at Classico make it a top recommendation in Sarasota. We left feeling not just satisfied but truly taken care of. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience, especially if you're managing food allergies. Had a fabulous meal at this lovely local restaurant. Located on Main Street in downtown Sarasota, they offer indoor and outdoor dining. Unpretentious and very European feeling with little tables scattered on the sidewalk. The service was prompt and the food excellent. Probably the best pasta I’ve had outside of Italy. As an aside, I noted that most dishes can be made gluten-free should that be a requirement, something seen frequently in Europe but not so much in North America. Overall, a great meal and will definitely return on our next trip to Sarasota.

Zucchini fries and Brussels sprouts are spot on for taste and being light. Gluten free flatbread was perfect. One of the best Cuban sandwiches we have ever tasted! Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Not sure what all the hype is about. Atmosphere felt cold and empty, had to return my plate. My girlfriend's dish was good but she got sick afterwards (gluten allergy) when we specifically asked what we can get that's Gluten free and kitchen verified. To be fair they did offer other alternatives for my returned meal but I just couldn't get anything else after I tasted the 1st plate.

My experience was awesome, the food is excellent 👌 I'm gluten-free (intolerance) and I got the Skirt Steak and had no issues. I wish the food never ended, it was delicious and presented beautifully. The steak is buttery and soft, cooked perfectly, medium rare. The plantains were so unique, they were like sweet potatoes to me, and the tart beet sauce was a great combo. The service was great, my waiter was very considerate and accommodating. Atmosphere could be a bit better, it felt a bit squished. I was elbow to elbow with a stranger.

Really good sushi rolls and they even have gluten-free soy sauce! Cute and quirky decor. Very friendly service. Massive portions for the specialty rolls and chicken fried rice that the others had in my party

This is such a fun vibe for a group of people! The food was really tasty and a great size portion of pasta, which is hard to find. It was also pretty light on the sauce which made me leave not feeling too heavy or bloated. They have options for gluten free pasta too. My Italian margarita was a 100/10! The best of the best. The drinks took like 50 minutes to come out and the waitress brought us free garlic bread for the wait which was the sweetest thing ever. I will definitely be back! The service was so kind and the food was lovely.

Their Gluten-free Pizza is Amazing! 14 inches & I believe it is locally made. Its so good we had ask if it really was Gluten-free! My husband doesn't care for Gluten-free foods but he said this is one of the best thin crust pizzas he has ever had! Most GF pizzas are only 10" & pre-made crusts but not this baby! Its our favorite Sarasota pizza!

My daughter has celiac and Holly was amazing. We ordered salmon mustard seed dish and it was the most amazing meal ever. Came back with my husband and sat in the same booth and Holly served us again! Wow!!! She is so wonderful!!!! So was the salmon! 😋

UPDATE: I spoke with Mossimo the owner the today. He explained that the additional charge for substituting the sauce was an error and will make it right upon our next visit. Very classy move on his part! Deserves this upgraded review! Food is good. Cannot sent that. However, sad that a restaurant is still charging more for gluten free pasta. Also, two in our party ordered Penne Pesto with chicken and asked for Alla Vodka sauce instead. Those each cost an additional $3.00 for the vodka sauce even though we “paid” for the pesto sauce. So, $10 more for GF and Vodka sauce. Very disappointing that a restaurant like this needs to make money off of these hidden charges.
