Just tried Hummus Republic for the first time recently! I thought the food quality was incredible and so tasty. Bonus for being mostly gluten free as well! I did feel the receipt and the prices shown did not align and it was pretty steep for a lunch, but understandable being in Pier Village. Still would return as it was delicious and served both as a lunch and leftovers for dinner!
We waited over an hour for delivery. Choose another pizza place. We ordered 4 pies and 1 gluten free pizza to a location less than 10 minutes away from Scala’s. I was called by the store at least 25 minutes after I ordered to be informed they did not have the gluten free option that was listed on their website. Additionally, I waited over 1 hour for the delivery man to even start driving. I called the store and was told “the order didn’t go through correctly on the app that they use called “slice,” but clearly it did because they already called to tell me something I ordered wasn’t available. I was also told the delivery man was leaving at that moment. It was at least another 15-20 minutes before he arrived. The total was over $150 and there was 0 apology over the phone or from the delivery man. Do not waste your time or money at this establishment as they will do nothing to compensate for their own mistakes.
Charming spot with a lovely atmosphere where you'll feel special, plus pet-friendly vibes that make it perfect for a cozy outing.

Jenna was my waiter and she was the cherry on top! Super nice and informative and very friendly. It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review, as it is not something I enjoy doing and I like to give the benefit of the doubt. However, this experience was probably the worst I’ve ever had at any restaurant. To start, we asked for our wings to be extra crispy, they were not crispy at all. In fact, they were on the soggy side. We were more than willing to overlook this, not a huge deal. We asked for ranch dressing for the wings. It took 25 minutes and asking three times to finally get the dressing. When we ordered our food, I made it clear that I had a gluten allergy and asked what my options were as far as sides for my sandwich. The waitress was very unsure so she said she would ask the kitchen and get back to me. There was zero communication about it after that. After 20 minutes of her walking past us, we had to stop her and ask her what my options were again. She said that I couldn’t have fries so that she told the kitchen to just give it to me with the potato chips that it comes with. So we then asked if the potato chips were gluten free, again she was unsure and said she would ask the kitchen. Once again, no communication for 20 minutes. We stopped her again and she said that they were also not gluten free. I came very close to being exposed to gluten and served potato chips, had we not asked again. She then said since I can’t have fries or chips that she told the kitchen to not give me anything on the side. Never mentioned or offered a side salad, which was gluten free. I had to ask for it. This side salad came out immediately, well before my meal came out. The sandwich barely had any chicken in it, it was dry, and fell apart as soon as I picked it up. I was blown away at how terrible the service was and I will never be back to this restaurant.
A great addition to the West End!!! The outdoor lounge is such a vibe. Go grab a drink, a homemade lobster roll, & enjoy!
Vegan & gluten free options!!!
I recently called before placing an order to confirm safety for my severe food allergies. The person answering the phone (and the person standing next to them yelling into the phone) was incredibly rude, laughing, making jokes, and flat out refused to even check to see if there were any gluten free options. They simply and rudely stated “salad dressings aren’t gluten free, bye” before hanging up the phone. This isn’t true - some definitely are gluten free. However, as someone who will be severely sick for days, I’ll never even attempt to eat here again after this complete disregard and plain disrespect.
A favorite spot for many, featuring consistently good offerings, fantastic sangria, and convenient parking with easy reservation options.

My fiancé and I love it here. We don’t usually go back to the same places, because we like to try new places but we love to bring other people here with us. The food is consistently good, the employees are kind and the sangria is honestly some of the best we have had out! They take reservations and there is parking spots nearby. They mark on the menu what is gluten free!

This place is high class, high quality, and expensive. The food was delicious and the service was superb. The fish was perfectly cooked, the french fries crispy and they even have Gluten Free Pasta! I cannot wait to come back.

Grilled fish were dry and kids menu was boring with only fried food and plain pasta. They do not have any gluten free options apart from salad and grilled fish. Waiter was not able to offer any accommodations on the menu even for dietary restrictions.
