We agree with the many positive reviews already written. We've been to many restaurants on Long Island and Popei's is one of the best we've found. Very clean, comfortable and charming, but not fancy if you are looking for that. Otherwise it has just about everything else- A wide variety (extensive menu of seafood and non-seafood) of beautifully prepared, fresh fish (nothing was smelly at all), and everything was tasty and delicious, including the appetizers, main courses and desserts, at reasonable prices. They also were able to accommodate a gluten-allergy and helped us choose dishes that were both safe and delicious. Sue our waitress was fantastic and Joe the owner paid a friendly visit to all the tables to make sure everything was fine.
We highly highly recommend Popei's and definitely plan to return.
Packed with good vibes and quick service, this spot impresses with its attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back!

Jin Fu is a great, authentic Chinese restaurant. I called ahead to confirm that they can accommodate gluten free and the manager had a menu waiting for me that she marked for gluten free options. I have dined in and carried out - I like to order egg drop soup, sesame beef, and fried rice. I was given gluten free soy sauce packets for the fried rice too. Delicious Chinese food!!
Please think twice before booking your party at Patrizia’s of Long Island in Hicksville. The restaurant manager Tony was quick to blame his female staff members (who were not available to defend themselves) for booking our party incorrectly.
Our party was booked months in advance & we were told we could have a section of the new party room. We were also given a separate menu to chose the food. A month before the party, we met with the restaurant manager, Tony, to confirm the food and notify we had a guest who was gluten free. The original menu we were given was taken out of our hands and we were being told he had no idea why his female staff member told us these things. He then forced the regular restaurant menu with the higher prices on us, promising us everything would be great.
Fast forward a month later to the day of our party & everthing started out okay with the exception of our food being rushed out to us. Then I noticed a large party lining up outside of the restaurant. As soon as I saw this we were being pushed out. We had booked & paid for our table from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. I looked at my watch & it was just turning to 3pm when I noticed the waiters were cleaning our table clothes off and rushing my guests out. Tony was rushing to get our billed paid up too. One of my guests was asked to get up because the waiter wanted to clean the table. As this was happening they started seating this large party before we even had the chance to leave.
We brought in our own specialty cupcakes as thank you’s to our guests and not only was the wait staff helping themselves to them, I saw Tony sneaking one himself. They were not given permission to take any especially since not all of our guests were given the opportunity to take one. A waiter was confronted for taking one and they said they were told they could take a one.
What I realized, we were knowingly pushed out of the private room because a larger part booked after us. Another similar size party was booked for 3pm & they intentionally pushed us out before our time was done. There were other large tables available to be taken, why push us out? Obviously, the larger the party, the more important you are to Tony.
When we confronted Tony, he again blamed his female staff members (who again were no where to be found) for the mismanagement of our party… how convenient. Last I checked you are the manger and you are responsible for your staff.
By the way my gluten free guest had a significant reaction because her “gluten free pasta” was clearly not prepared safely for her, despite being told they could accommodate her. If you can’t safely prepare the food just don’t offer to do it.
Experience a warm and inviting spot that celebrates every season with festive charm and generous portions for all visitors.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. How often do you go somewhere and are greeted by the owner himself in the most welcoming way. A rare thing to see nowadays. A warm, inviting place, always putting me in the spirit of whatever season we are in whether it’s Christmas, Halloween, Fourth of July, etc etc. The portions are huge. They accommodate gluten free eaters. I can go on and on!!!!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience
This spot offers freshly made dishes and a local market vibe, with interesting history decor that adds a unique touch to your visit.

Great local chicken restaurant. They have a market and fresh hot food. Everything was delicious and made from scratch. They did have marked naturally gluten free food as well. They had the history of Zorns all over the walls in the dining area. Will definitely be back!
