This place was incredible!! They were so good about allergies. There are lots of gluten free options like their famous Dosas and the gf almond pancakes. I loved that they had juices and smoothies and tonics to start the day right too.
This spot features a standout guac and a unique atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed dinner with diverse dining options nearby.

We had dinner here. The wait staff ask about any food allergies before you order. I felt very comfortable eating here. Yummy food! The guac is amazing!!

Pros: Outstanding views of Central Park and Columbus Circle. Aesthetically beautiful and wonderfully decorated; fun, colorful, romantic and very intimate/private. Great service from an accommodating, friendly and professional staff. Inexpensive. Non-alcoholic options available. Free small bites for the table. Vegan, gluten free, and vegetarian options. Homemade ice cream and sorbets! Large portion sizes.
Cons: No parking. Tight dining space. Limited/small menu. Food was okay/good; the braised lamb fell apart like butter, but flavor wise could have used some seasoning. The restaurant is labeled as Modern Classic American Cuisine but I struggled to find any dishes on the dinner menu that felt familiar or in this style.
Ribollita: 3/5
Crab Cakes: 4/5
Brussel Sprouts: 3/5
Braised Lamb: 3/5
Scottish Salmon: 3/5
Pistachio Crème Brûlée: 2/5
Raspberry ice cream: 5/5
Overall, I enjoyed dining at Robert. I would like to return to try brunch or lunch, and I would even try dinner again; overall I think the menu was interesting, ideal for those that are looking to try something new, without bold or overwhelming flavor. I would also love to experience a musical event, which they schedule regularly!
With a vibrant atmosphere, unique floral decor, and an inviting setting, this spot offers a delightful experience for a relaxing afternoon.

They have gluten free bread if you let them know when you sit down which is always a win. They don’t have gluten free buns for their famous burger but the lettuce bun does the trick!
Enjoy fantastic personal pizzas with unique choices like cauliflower crust and a great wine selection, all in a vibrant atmosphere.

Such delicious personal pizzas! I am gluten free and this place is by FAR the best gluten free pizza I’ve had in New York City. I have been here twice already and every item I’ve tried has been phenomenal (the service is outstanding as well), I highly recommend to anyone!!!!
We walked in for a Saturday morning brunch and were seated almost immediately.
The food:
Coffees- Iced(with pistachio milk), Latte and Cappuccino. I personally enjoyed the iced coffee although I was keen on trying the Aussie Iced Coffee which was unavailable at the time. The food was great and the gluten free roll for the Brekkie was just perfect. The servers seemed a bit rushed and served the Mushroom Toast with the poached egg despite our specific request to avoid it. A little on the pricey side but the meal was hearty and filling.
A charming Italian gem where homey vibes meet standout specialties, making every visit feel like a warm family gathering.

Our server was energetic, friendly, and spoke Italian with me! They had an orange wine on special, which was delicious. We got the caesar salad, short rib ragu, and chitarra. All of the food was good enough to go back but not the best pasta in NYC. They have gluten-free pasta available.
A cozy café with a serene vibe, classical music, and prime people-watching right across from Central Park makes it a must-visit!

I eat here every time I come into town, the staff know me now and today - I walked in and they asked « the usual? » (with dietary restrictions and how many people they serve daily, I was so happy to walk in (again and again and again) and feel at home.
See you next time.
Lots of Vegan and Gluten Free options.
Perfect atmosphere, they only play classical music, which makes the ambiance perfect for conversation, writing or just enjoying people watching.
Get ready for an amazing vibe with great music, plus a menu that has some must-try highlights you won't want to miss!

I took my parents here and we had an incredible meal. I have a few tough allergies (gluten and onion) and our server Madison S. was so on top of it she came went back and forth to the kitchen multiple times to ensure that my allergies could be accommodated. The vibes/music were great as well. Things not to be missed: the burger, hopper shrimp and tuna tartare with salsa macha.
This Italian restaurant is great!! They have gluten free pasta and are definitely allergy friendly. This pasta may have been the best pasta I’ve ever had! Great restaurant.
We loved it here, the server was very accommodating for our friends 'gluten free needs' the portions were massive and the food was lovely, nice and clean bathrooms and great prices, highly recommend
Amazing experience celebrating my husband’s birthday! The outstanding service started before we even got there when the restaurant reached out to confirm the details for our night (what we were celebrating, dietary / food preferences). He had the regular tasting menu. I had the vegetarian tasting menu which they were also able to do Gluten Free for me. It was an incredible experience for me to actually have original, delicious and thoughtful GF veg options curated for my courses. All of the courses were outstanding for both of us. The servers are extremely knowledgeable and professional. The som was very knowledgeable on different wines and vintages and even shared some drinking tips for wines we have at home. I did read some of the lower star reviews in advance and have to say I actually felt like the price for the tasting pp for the experience and service level was what we expected and neither of us left hungry. (On the way out, we were able to get a sneak peak at the kitchen and I have never seen such a clean kitchen and impeccable staff all working together!). Looking forward to celebrating another special occasion here!
