A normal burger except for gluten-free: the kitchen is organized to prepare GF burgers and fries apart from standard orders, and the cooks master this aspect.
If burger+fries = menu with fountain drinks (water, Pepsi, Jaffa).
A really rich and tasty lunch salad, which included coffee and also got gluten-free bread. Nice staff and atmosphere. We sell a wide selection of gluten-free products.
I had the vegetarian pizza, gluten and lactose-free (they added some mozzarella for me since I canât have tomato sauce). The person who attended us was very kind and attentive. I guess it took a bit longer to serve our meal because of a mistake with my dough, which delayed things a little. However, they made up for it with a complimentary sorbet. Weâll definitely be back!
The best gluten free bread I've had. I went in and asked about GF options, and they said that most of the sandwiches can be made up on gluten free bread. Very cute interior too!
Edit: I came back the next day, but earlier, and asked for the same thing. Unfortunately it was on your regular, not that great, gluten free bread. I think they bake the other one fresh, and I was there too early on that day!
I went here for dinner with a friend at the end of May 2024.
I was surprised that I couldn't get the service in Finnish.
It was possible to eat outside. The order had to be placed inside at the counter. There was a wide variety of pizzas. Found for vegans and gluten-free. The drink selection was also reasonable. Alcoholic beverages were found.
We got the order done. We took our drinks and cutlery and went out.
We got the pizzas surprisingly quickly. It was good and filled my stomach.
Hands down THE best gluten free pizza I have ever had, and I've eaten pizza in Italy!!! You couldn't even tell it was gf, seriously you have to try this pizzeria, the staff were friendly and very personable, we had just arrived in Helsinki from Australia a few hours prior to looking for dinner and we definitely found the right place, 10 out of 10, we will be back.
Honestly, this place exceeded my expectations, it is a small but cozy place, ideal for those looking for something gluten-free at a reasonable price, I will soon be back hungry and eager to try other flavors, the bathroom is quite clean and hygienic, recommended
This place is a wonderful find. Really good food. A well-thought-out gluten-free and vegetarian diet. I will definitely come here again. I recommend! The service and atmosphere are also a plus. But especially about food.
Pretty and delicious cakes, local craft lemonades, nice sea view, beautiful garden setting and lots of terrace space. What more could one ask for? There are ample gluten free choices, I highly recommend the gluten free prosecco cheesecake.
Nice milieu. A good place for gluten-free. Everything else except the chicken is available gluten-free. The rest of us also got to eat a warm and tasty meal. There is something for children to do in the adjacent park, before or after eating.
The drinks were good, the food basic ok. We had to wait an hour for a table and ordered drinks and Nachos (*2) gluten-free at the bar. We got the Nachos and checked to see if it was gluten free, it wasn't. The waiter was taking the second portion away to which we said that you don't need it if you throw it in the trash. Asked if that gluten-free half. We said no thanks. We also heard from the counter that everything was not okay because it was the restaurant's mistake to bring the wrong food.
Later we got a table, everything was ok, we ordered the bills and it turned out that half of the Nachos had been left open on the bar side. We were surprised that we were left with the impression that a replacement was not brought because the restaurant had failed. I hear you have to pay because we hadn't returned the second portion to the kitchen. That apparently this restaurant serves food that goes back to the kitchen to the next customers. It's certainly not a big amount (and that's also why), we couldn't bear to start twisting. But the bad taste remained and we will certainly vote with our feet in the future. The bad feeling remained.
Thank you for the great service! Food was delicious and so much alternatives for us with allergies. I loved the glutenfree karelian pies and our son loved the milkfree pancakes. We feel lucky we found this place on our vacation and we visited more than once.
Nice place, centrally located. You can only hope for a gluten-free breakfast. Bread in a plastic bag with the taste of cardboard. Runeberg tarts could also have been there when others had them too.
First of all, where are the vending machines? Terrible congestion at the cash registers, and you have to wait 20-30 minutes for food. Last time, I ordered a gluten-free hamburger to go, and I made sure it was gluten-free again. Well, when I opened the order at home, I noticed that it wasn't there, it was tavis. A completely different-looking bun than the gluten-free one. Fortunately, it was noticed in time.
The food here is incredible, and all allergens are labelled for dairy free or gluten free - itâs great for coeliacs. We went as 4 had cocktails (the margaritas are great) and shared tacos and ceviches. Billy was our waiter and gave us loads of advice about Helsinki, Finland and even suggestions for shops, bars and sights. Thanks Billy for a great evening! - the Brits
Very little gluten-free and the risk of contamination is high when they are next to other products. The customer service worker used rubber gloves with which he touched e.g. His hair, face, and layers, after which he would smash his hand into the salad bowl with the same glove and put the salad on the customer's plate.
We came to dinner by chance looking to snack on some pizza and when we sit down and have already ordered the drink they tell us that they have had a very busy day and that they have no pizzas left đ±đ±. They offer us gluten-free pizza as an alternative. In the end we ordered an antipasto and pasta... he recommends bolognese pasta made with reindeer meat but it's nothing to write home about either. The cozy place without further ado and the attention, removing this setback, correct. Nothing special.
The carbonara was disappointing ;(. The gluten-free pasta was good, but the sauce was watery and the bacon was burnt. The restaurant is cozy and great. There is only one vegan option. You can't eat olives without a stone remover
We arrived during the day and it looked like just another hotel, but upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised. It's very cozy, modern, and luxurious, with intricate ambient lighting that captivates from the outside at night. The room we were assigned was a little small, but it had everything we needed. We had a reservation for a room without a window, and when one was available, they offered to change it for a small fee, but since we were only going there to sleep and clean up, we didn't. The room's decor didn't make us miss the window.
The breakfast is very comprehensive, with a wide variety and many options for celiacs, a detail we loved.
If there would be six stars to give, I would give all of them. Everything Iâve ever eaten at PĂ€ijĂ€nne, has been amazing. Everything is self made and almost everything is vegan and gluten free. This is our favorite cafe in Helsinki and for a good reason. Even our dog loves the place.
The interior of the cafe, the furniture and the whole milieu are in harmony with the atmosphere of the Art Nouveau building. The selection also includes gluten-free products. This is a pleasant cafe. The prices are average.
Very good pizzas in the center of Finland. The doughs have the option of gluten free, that's good. The portions are large and they have some interesting flavors.
The caccio e pepe pizza didn't taste like caccio e pepe but it was still good.
That's if there was a 40 minute wait, you can happily leave your phone and go for a walk. They will let you know when it is your turn.
Nice atmosphere. The table was reserved in advance. Special diet questions emailed in advance were never answered. Gluten-free bread was not available at all. According to the announcement, everything "should" be lactose-free. Whoops.
In the middle of brunch, the waiter came to ask about the reservation, and the person who reserved the table received a call from the restaurant half an hour after arriving. At the next table, customers were moved to another table in the middle of brunch. It felt as if the tact training had been missed. Another oops.
The oatmeal was good, otherwise the serving corresponded to a good hotel breakfast. Special coffees received a 30% discount during brunch.
Nice little cafe. Cozy interior, friendly service, beautiful crockery and beautiful food presentation. Beauty is really half the food!
I had goat cheese salad for lunch. The salad was really beautiful and made with fresh ingredients. We started with an incredibly good tomato soup, gluten-free of course, as was the salad.
There was a nice terrace outside, where you can eat or just enjoy wine on a beautiful summer day. So here I come back.
The online store order was easy and we got a lot of good treats for the birthday party. We tasted both the vegetarian and the salmon sandwich cake gluten-free. We especially liked the white chocolate blackcurrant cake (gluten-free) and Makiata's chocolate cake. In our opinion, the cakes for 15 people were really a good size, and the so-called dynamite. I highly recommend :)
I have always received great customer service when visiting this location. The food has also been really tasty and well made for pub food :) especially the beyond meat hamburger. When ordering gluten-free, it's also not a dry bun, just good. In many places you can get it dry. I like it a lot and I always come to this point. The second point on Keskuskatu is unfortunately not up to this level. :(
Chico's has changed for the better. In the interior, the red decorations are gone. Instead, a cozy and spacious atmosphere, a cradle of dark tones and plants. You could imagine getting stung at any time. Not only eating, but even spending time with a group in completely different ways, enjoying drinks and having a good time. I don't think the concept is too connected to the Prisma shopping center label. Specialty coffees and the food itself are very available. I even get an option for gluten-free food and something based on other special criteria on the plate. The service is well managed and the customer service is friendly. We are interested in the customer and we ask if he likes it? Noticing a slight price increase on the portion side. For example, a fish dish, the current price being âŹ23. The potatoes being in a different bowl and not placed on the same plate. The amount of vegetables being restrained. These didn't bother me in the end, although at first they looked a bit like poor things. The fish dish tasted good. And I left myself completely satisfied and full to continue the journey. I recommend.
