That was actually really good. A gluten-free crêpes, all organic, artesian fish, local produce. A place where you can eat while other places are closed. Organic dry cider is one of the best. The values of this place make it worth coming. Romantic atmosphere included.

It is not a 100% gluten-free place, but they only eat the salad and the meat with potatoes. Therefore, what they offer in principle is gluten-free. The potatoes are homemade. The meat comes in a sauce (when talking to the waiters they told me it was also gluten-free) that for my taste contained a lot of oil, but the meat was just right. The place is very large but the tables are too close together. In general it is not bad.

I can agree with the comments here that mentioned high quality ingredients are being used. They have an open kitchen visible from your table. The 3 waitress were all kind and helpful. Chef looked like he is enjoying making his creations. It is the kind of restaurant where probably all dishes are great. We went for a classic galette and then for a sweet one with buckwheat ice cream (try it please! It was a pleasant surprise). Options for gluten intolerant guests available as they use different flour.

A charming place, the service was very good, and despite it being close to closing time, they treated us very kindly. If we ever return to Saint-Jean-de-Luz, we'll repeat the experience. Plus, one of us has celiac disease, and they provided us with wonderful service and options.

Simple restaurant where you eat very well! We took 1 starter for 2 and each a main course and we didn't have room for dessert!! Every year we come and we are never disappointed! Special mention for the Burger Chuck! The only downside is that we have gluten intolerants in the family and they only have the Steak and Fries that they can eat but it is still delicious! We come at the end of the season where most waiters and restaurateurs lose their smile, this is never the case at the spot!

Valentine's Day dinner booked online on their website about 15 days in advance communicating the need for gluten and lactose free dishes. Upon arrival we reminded the owner of this again and he reassured us. The food is of excellent quality, beautiful dishes, tasty. Unfortunately, however, when serving the second course I was presented with a roast in a puff pastry crust so I asked the waiter for clarification who didn't even understand the simple phrase: "is it gluten-free?". From that moment the kitchen mobilizes to offer me an alternative (excellent like the rest of the dinner) too bad that in the meantime my husband has finished his second course. No discount will be added to the bill, nor will there be a free digestive. I would add that a bottle of sparkling water costs €8 (our fault is for not having checked the price of water before). Conclusion: the food is excellent, prices high not for the quality but for the superficial and approximate service considering that we don't speak French but the waiter doesn't speak a word of English... but we are the customers!

Sandrine and I were looking for a nice little restaurant, gluten-free and inexpensive, we found the rare gem with this pretty creperie which welcomed us warmly despite the late hour (almost 2 p.m....). The pancakes are naturally gluten-free which is perfect for my sweetheart. They are perfectly made, well stocked and delicious. For dessert, another buckwheat pancake, super good. Very good restaurant. The concept is nice: We choose what we want to eat in the fridges, everything is in jars which are made on site. The ingredients are written on the jars so allergens are easy to spot, especially gluten-free! Well suited for children too, because we were able to have two plates to share a jar!!! This is my HQ. I have an allergy problem. So suffice to say that gluten prevents me from going to a lot of restaurants. But at Mamie Bigoude, there are pancakes. I enjoy it every time. Being disabled, I am often at the bottom. But on two occasions, even though it wasn't easy for me, I wanted to go upstairs. I didn't regret the "bedroom" area, I loved it. The staff are lovely and attentive. I recommend. The only regret is that it's not big enough because places are quickly reserved 😅

It was not a problem for the restaurant, i noticed the care they applied in serving me, bringing me gluten free bread right away, without me asking - something still extremely rare in France. The daily specials were gluten free and i had a marvelous looking and tasting meal!

I had dinner here with my Franco-American family for Thanksgiving. The meal was amazing!! Everyone loved it. I have celiac disease and most of the menu could be made gluten-free. The waiter was really nice and was able to explain everything to the family members who only speak english. They were also accomodating and made a special meal for my 3-year old nephew. I highly recommend!

Everything on the menu was gluten free except the cheesecake which was wonderful! We had the duck and the Shepard’s pie and both were fantastic! The chocolate cake was gf also and it was so rich and delicious. Great, friendly service and the food was fairly quick and delicious! Highly recommend!

Great time, you can go there with your eyes closed! The dishes are excellent and refined. The presentation on the plate is pretty and encourages you to taste it. The dishes are plentiful. Everything is fresh and prepared on site. We feel that the products are sought after and of quality. Honestly, don't hesitate for a second. This place is absolutely amazing, both the food and staff are top notch. I have a bad gluten allergy (coeliac) and let them know 24h before coming there. They pulled out all the stops.. they even went to get some gluten free bread something they didn't have in stock normally. Long story short they went out of their way to make our evening the best. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was amazing and the setting was cozy. We will be back for more!
