My wife and daughter are both allergic to Gluten, finding nice gluten-free takeaway is difficult, hence the FmGF app.
My wife had a huge smile on her face after tasting her first Battered Sav (GF) in more than 10 years.
The owner said that anything with batter, they can make it as gluten-free.
We had: Battered Sav, Calamari rings, potato scallops, pineapple fritter (w/ cinnamon) and chips.
I had a non-GF piece of Orange Roughy fish, never heard of it, but the owner said it is her favourite.
It was the nicest fish that I can remember ever eating. My wife and daughter do not like fish at all, I pulled the batter off a piece and had them try it, even they really liked it.
The staff were great and the owner was lovely, she took the time to talk with the 3 of us after we ate to find out what we liked.
Thoroughly recommend this place for really nice fish & chips, especially if you have gluten allergies.

Normally I really enjoy Oliver’s burgers and food but I would advise you to get the milk bun as the gluten free version is shockingly dry, crumbly and unappetising. This was not very enjoyable to eat and it fell apart in my hands and at $19.95 + $2.00 for the gluten free mess , shocking .

If I had to describe it I would call it rock hard. The patties are always flavourful and well seasoned, they consistently offer high quality and ingredients. Asked about gluten free options. Was advised that grilled fish was coated in rice flour and chips fried in designated gf fryer. So ordered gf grilled fish, small chips also piece of regular crumbed fish and 6 crumbed calamari for husband. Unfortunately regular crumbed fish and calamari was put on top of chips in same package while gf fish packaged separately. Need to understand all gf foods should be packaged together and non gf packaged separate. Disappointing.
