Stopped in today, Christmas Eve, looking for a quick bite. I know it can stink to be working today- despite this, the girls at the counter were so bright and cheerful. Incredible service, delicious food, lovely atmosphere. We particularly loved the playlist of soft rock with a few country song sprinkled in. Our server Rhene was very sweet and attentive, excellent service. We had two very very sensitive celiacs in our group and she and the restaurant were very attentive. We got the pulled pork sandwich, the chicken buffalo sandwich (with GF breaded chicken! my husband’s favorite he’s ever had), and the burger with an egg on it. They have a separate GF frier and plenty of yummy options. All the food was absolutely incredible. We also got a non-GF blueberry pie that blew us all away. 10/10 would recommend. And we felt very safe in terms of cross-contamination.

I have a gluten allergy. I tried a hot sandwich at Jersey Mike's a few months ago and asked if they would toast the gluten-free bread/roll. They did and the sandwich was amazing! I have been craving it ever since. Our closest location is an hour away. Today we had to go to Bangor and I found out there is a location close to where we would be. Well the enthusiasm ended there because they told me they aren't allowed to toast anything. If you know gluten free bread, you know that it sucks the life out of anything put on it by absorbing the moisture of the other ingredients. Toasting at least slows down the process. No way was I going to pay that much for a sandwich that would fall apart before I ate half of it. I got a salad because we were there and hungry, but this is the last time I will go there. Too bad, they had a really good thing going and corporate put a stop to it. The salad was good but not what I went there for.

You have to place your order on a tablet as no one man’s the registers. Food allergies are listed, but it doesn’t list what on the menu items contains the allergens so it makes ordering a little difficult if you have dietary restrictions. There were two cooks there but they were not approachable and didn’t greet any customers. You are not required to give your name for your order and your order isn’t given a number, so they just call the names of the food out. They called an item that I had ordered, so I went to grab it and the cook just looked past me and said it was for someone else. The only reason I gave five stars we because they had delicious vegan and gluten free options that my wife can eat.
