The prices! I've choked on them since the last time we ate there a few days ago. We have eaten here before but not in about 9 months. I thought prices were ridiculous then but now they are eye watering. £4.40 for a SMALL CHIP. £5.50 for small chip with sauce. £13.60 for fish supper work no peas or tartare - those will cost your another £1.30 each and the tub of tartare is tiny! We got 2 mini fish suppers (and trust me it's mini) 1 peas and 2 tartare - £19.20. We ate here as we were on our back from Belfast and really hungry and they do gluten free. I doubt we'll eat there again. The prices just aren't justified
Known for its impressive variety and top-notch service, this spot is a must-visit for anyone craving quality takeout.

Was surprised at the massive menu… joking, loved it 👌🏽
Had a cheese burger (medium well done) with sweet potato fries.
My partner had a gluten cheese burger (medium done) and shoestring fries (skinny fries)
The best option was she is Gluten intolerant, so we were happy we found the gluten free bun on the option for her, so I would recommend here, and would definitely come back

Great food and friendly staff. Portions are quite generous. Gluten free options available. The empire stack was delicious, especially the tobacco onions (gluten free) on the top.

Staying in Newcastle and we looked for a coeliac friendly takeaway and found The Galley. Staff could not have been more helpful in making sure our order was perfect and went above and beyond. Got two gluten free goujon meals and the food was incredible, the best gluten free chippy we've ever had with lovely gravy to go with it. Could not recommend more
A hidden gem with a cozy vibe, offering a variety of options that leave everyone raving about their delicious meals and value.

I recently visited tribal burger with my family after reading good reviews about their gluten free options. I asked about the options when I got to the till to order and was assured they had separate fryers for the chips + chicken. I ordered a beef burger with bacon + chips, when my meal arrived it had 'GF' hand written on it and the lady stated it was gluten free but my bap looked exactly like everyone else's (they aren't gf). I'm extremely fussy so I removed the fat of the bacon in the burger and was hesitant to eat it as the bap was the same so I took it to the till and asked the manager was it definitely gf, he told me it was not he'll get it sorted. He brought me a new burger down in minutes, I opened it up and it was the same patty + bacon from the one before! No awareness of cross contamination! Covered in crumbs my partner then took it back up where the chef said 'it's a whole new burger'. I know it wasn't, it was cold and had the same bacon I had dissected beforehand. To give someone gluten by mistake is bad enough but to know you done it a second time is so careless, It's very worrying and disappointing how bad their Knowledge is about gluten and how serious it can be if ingested, this is not a choice but a health + dietary requirement and people like me would rather you didn't offer the gluten free option if you can't do it right and safely. The manager was not rude but really just didn't care when we were tying to explain how serious it was what his staff had done, I was an inconvenience.
Expect an impressive menu with incredible adaptability, outstanding quality, and a culinary experience that leaves you wanting more.

This has become our regular chippy! Not only do they have fantastic gluten free options but they take cross contamination very seriously. Tonight we had a missing dip but a short phonecall later and they fixed it! Amazing service ❤️

The takeaway food at this place is excellent and the staff is very friendly. They have a convenient website/app for ordering ahead, which saves a lot of time. I highly recommend it, especially for those who need gluten-free options.
Cozy spot with a solid range of options and staff keen to help with ingredient questions, plus a unique separate menu for specific needs.

Nice little chippy with separate gluten free menu. Nice selection of options and chatted to staff and was very impressed. Eager to help and verify ingredients if needed, clearly knowledgeable about allergies.
I had a a simple burger and chips and was very happy with it. It would be nice if they used a GF brioche burger bun rather than the one used which seems to be a rice flour type, fairly tough and loaded with poppy seeds. Not bad but I prefer a brioche type bun.
Every single time I order from this boojum items are missing or the order is wrong. Every single time. When I phone about it staff absolutely do not care. We also ordered bowls recently and they sent burritos instead, my friend is celiac and couldn't eat it. Avoid this boojum, it is terrible and never get an order right.
A cozy spot with generous portions, offering something for everyone, perfect for family meals and praised for its unique menu options.

Best gluten free fish and chips in the east of NI. I've had the gluten free fish supper twice, fantastic. The gravy is a must, just give it a go, great to dip. Staff are very friendly and personable.
I would recommend everyone to give it a go. Certainly my go to for the odd treat.

First time here, and most definitely won't be the last.
Catered for glutenfree, and the portions are enormous, but we still managed to finish it all off.
Thankuou to all the staff.
Ciaran has struck gold again with new gluten free pizza. I couldn't taste the difference with normal pizza. Great value for money and Amanda who delivered our order was so pleasant. 5⭐

I just had the best gluten free fish & chips for lunch, it tasted great and was a lovely crispy texture not greasy. Kind staff, fantastic food. Can't wait to come back and try the gluten free chicken.
THIS IS A FIRST CLASS GF chippy
We get out of the friary regularly and it's always delicious! But tonight the chips were greasy and so disappointing to other times...the gluten free scampi was also disappointing...chewy prawns and so much batter. This is the first negative experience I've had. I will try them again as I said the food is normally 100% not sure why the chips were poor...hardly ate it. I hope it picks up again as we love here.
Only giving one Star because there's no option to give none, last night we booked overnight stay in Ballygally hotel and stopped off at this restaurant on way there. My gf is celiac so she asked for Burger and chips gluten free. Not long after eating she felt sick, started vomiting and lost feeling in her hands and feet. We spend the night in the hospital £130 for the hotel gone to waste and God knows how many days off work until she's better. The place is an absolute disgrace any company that says gluten free have a duty to make sure they know what they're doing, stay away from this place if you have any allergies.
We order regularly from Yi House - lovely people & great food. Lots of veg in the dishes which I love, and they do a gluten free batter for those who are intolerant (for King Po etc)
Was introduced to this place a few years back. Nothing much has changed in this time. Its still excellent. Chatty, friendly ,knowledgeable staff on hand to advise on choice. They do a range of gluten free too. Good traditional food, large portions and very reasonably priced. Well done guys.

First time trying here and have to say it was spectacular. Took it to go, but while we waited "aunty" took us up stairs to see the shops, where there were all sorts of groceries and then another floor with clothes.
Back to the food though, absolutely glorious. I went for the goat curry, along with plantain, neither of which I'd had before. So full of flavour. The goat fell off the bone and the curry was super fragrant. Plantain is like a better banana, but fried with some herbs. Super tasty.
Partner had oxtail and jollof samp which was also all delicious and new. The only problem for me was that it was all gluten free so I had to share.
