Famous foods is hands down the best little grocery store in Vancouver. And I say little bit it has everything you needs, has a bigger range of specialty goods (organic, gluten free, minimal packaging) then a lot of the bigger and more expensive stores. It’s quick to get in and do a shop and leave without feeling overwhelmed. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Family favourite through and through.

We ordered sandwiches for 15 people, 2 gluten free sandwiches, a veggie platter and a fruit platter. Not only was the staff of Nature's Fare Penticton friendly and accommodating, they went above and beyond to make the platters gorgeous. The quality of ingredients was top notch and very well priced! Pierre welcomes every shopper with a warm smile, I have never had anything less than exceptional customer service. They have a good selection of gluten free things which can be difficult to find. I do find some items to be on the pricier side. But overall, good stuff!

I lived across the street for three years. It's expensive, but it's a boutique grocery store. Although they had the deal on dark chocolate almonds. Now when I first moved there, they carried a line of "Bob's" flour, but not his gluten free pizza mix. I asked and they started carrying his pizza mix. 🎊. They still do.

This used to be my favorite store but I won’t drive from Vancouver anymore after they stopped carrying my favorite vegan and gluten free brands. They used to have the best cocunut bread from Kelowna - don’t carry it anymore. They used to have the best mushroom truffle vegan perogies from west bank - they don’t carry it anymore. They used to carry the best Parma-veg (spicy) as a sprinkle replacement for Parmesan cheese- they no longer have it. Sorry natures Fare- you lost all of my business. Your new buyer sucks!

Ahhh the Centex. Love this place. So many options to chose from, lots of local made stuff and a great selection of veggies! It's seriously amazing how they manage to fit all this goodness into a "gas station". Local kombucha on tap, a cafe that has a little of everything from Mushroom lattes to fresh pressed juice, and of course coffee too. The local made snacks at the check out are to die for, so delish. Local meats and so many dairy, gluten, sugar, peanut,etc. free offerings if you have any intolerances I almost guarantee you will find some edible goodness that will satisfy almost any craving.....cricket protein, they have that. The local made real sourdough bread is amazing too, I could go on, dairy free sour cream? Yep it's there, cheap eggs? Check! A small bulk section even. Just picking up a quick snack? No place better. Almost forgot to mention the amazing Staff and owners, this place is just the best, go check it out! One downside parking can be scarce, but that's a minor inconvenience.

What a neat place to spend an evening out! Games, popcorn, and of course tons of non-alcoholic beverages to choose from! I have to remain gluten free and was delighted to find gluten free and alcohol free beer! 🍺😀 Bringing in your own food is okay, so is bringing your dog 🐕

I love coming here, the center of the shop is always full of interesting things to check out, and frequently there will be someone presenting a product. As to the general mechandice, there is an incredible array of various products, so pretty well anything you could want is available here. The flour and spice varieties are full-spectrum; flours made from various grains are available as are most spices in whole or ground forms. Pastas available in a wide assortment of both organic grains and gluten free. The vegetables are always fresh and crisp, and they even carry some meat products; I come here specifically when I want to make a bone broth. The people who work here are very knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. There is even a loyalty based program where you can save quite a bit on your monthly expenses. The only setback is the limited amount of parking available, and the stalls are pretty small.
