My favorite! Small store, but literally has *everything* you need or want. Best produce in town; best prices, too. Most thorough assortment of vitamins & supplements you'll find anywhere. Plus, specifically trained Vitamin/Supplement staff to answer all your questions & make recommendations as needed. Shelby is *amazing*; she knows *all the things*. Best selection of items for special diets, no matter which diet you follow. I can't eat gluten, and they have more options for my diet than anywhere else in town. Clean, well-lit store. Very shoppable, well-organized + easy to find what you need. And, if you do need help locating an item, staff is readily available, super friendly, and knowledgeable. Speaking of staff -- this crew is the *best*!!! I'm in a couple times per week, so I know most staff by name, and they recognize me as well. The whole staff is friendly, kind, helpful, knowledgeable. Not only that, but they really strive to make the shopping experience feel like you are part of something. Like they value you as a customer and have a connection with you. Best of all, the food is all organic, but the prices are certainly no worse (most often, much better!) than your local Hy-Vee.

I LOVE shopping here. They have a fresh food fruit & vegetables, prepared foods, gluten free, etc. There’s something for everyone. Huge selection. If you like coupons, their app has plenty! They also have weekly deals!

Best grocery store in Des Moines for gluten-free or any other allergen-friendly products. I can find all the fun frozen things that typically I can't eat since I have celiac. Their selection is great and the staff has always been friendly.

Not all keto friendly food items & they don't have keto bread there like glutenull hamburger buns, cloudies or Royo bread & other keto friendly foods but Fresh Thyme is the same. They do have a great selection of viamins & beauty products but when it comes to following a keto diet not so much.

This is my preferred HyVee as they tend to have more options for vegan foods and specialty products. My find on this visit was Pamela's Graham Crackers as I was making a gluten free dish for family. It saved me the hassle of making them from scratch! Store has a nice selection of everything.

Great Place! Solid Deli with multiple varieties of food stations; hot bar, Asian, salad bar, sushi, made to order pizza bar. Produce looked fresh. Good selection in the healthy/organic/gluten free section too. The wine/liquor area was well stocked, multiple selections. Large parking lot seemed organized and efficient.

Gluten containing frozen pizza in the gluten free section. Sure, the box said it was a cauliflower crust. But the ingredients contained wheat! Come on hyvee, don't put wheat containing food in the gf section.

Pricier than Walmart, however the produce wasn't rotten, there's employees around to help you, very clean nice environment to shop in, & the meat counter was amazing... A much bigger gluten free section than any store in town as well
