Went here for gluten free options, prices on most things (while higher than Walmart) are fairly comparable to Hy-vee or a few cents more. They did have fancy scanning shopping carts which are neat but it's unlikely I'd shop here if I wasn't trying a gluten free diet.
With a fantastic selection of produce, a great freezer section, and unbeatable prices, this spot is a must-visit for essentials and more!

This place is awesome! As a family with gluten and dairy allergies it can be hard to find gluten and dairy free options. This stuff has TONS!
The produce is good, the freezer section is fantastic and they have supplements galore!
The prices on many things are literally the best in town.
They also have an extensive collection of soap that we have been using.
We cannot recommend natural grocers enough.
Shop here. Just do it.
A solid shopping spot with awesome wellness discounts on Wednesdays and impressive selections for special dietary needs.

Hy-Vee is a great store. Sure, it can be a little pricey, but that's only if you don't know the secrets. 🙂
Shop on Wednesday and you get wellness discounts on a lot of items.
The sales they have are really good.
My family especially appreciates the Gluten free and Dairy free selections they have. It is a well marked and stocked section in this particular store.
A unique shopping experience with an eclectic mix of fun finds that keeps customers coming back for more, despite the crowds.

They claim to have Gluten Free options but don't have a gluten free section. You have to search for them. The workers didn't know where they were but very helpful. Zach was a very knowledgeable young man, showed me there was a online list of their Gluten Free products. After spending an hour searching through their store everything is cramped, way too much product over other product. As a health food store I was surprised at the lack of organization, no organic section & the no Gluten Free section. Then asked if there was a spot i could put up a flyer for my herbal business, they told me no there isn't. Until I find a better option, I'll have to return. But they need a dedicated Gluten Free section for those of us on the Autism Spectrum & Celiacs Disease.
Hy-Vee has gourmet foods and huge cheese selection, and have a whole isle of gluten-free items. Fresh fruits and veggies. Weekly sales...so look at the ad.
With an impressive selection of health-focused products and unique offerings, this store is a go-to for anyone seeking great quality and variety.

I love shopping at your store, but I went in today and found out that you are one of the only stores that did away with wellness Wednesdays. I eat gluten-free and extremely healthy in every little bit helps that’s why I usually go on Wednesdays. I hope you bring this back
A solid choice for events with great food and service, but the floral department may leave you feeling a bit uneasy.

I love the wide selection at Hy-Vee (especially for gluten free and sensitive stomach friendly options), but all of their stores are always extremely overwhelming and overstimulating to me even as a low-support needs autistic person. Wider isles, lower lighting, foot traffic paint/signs and easier to navigate selections would help a lot.
Love shopping here......they have the freshest produce....and mostly organic....and I go for dairy free and gluten free groceries......Cashiers are very nice!!!

Late Latte: When I visit a new city on a trip, business trip in this case, I love exploring to get a vibe of the place.
Being that I am obsessed with coffee, and had been exploring the RiverFront/Downtown, I wanted to find a local shop for a late latte to-go.
Imagine how very happy I was to see Godega was open late. Elated by the rare favorite a Rose Oat Latte 🌹 and grabbed a locally made, gluten free, protein rich - O’Cookie’O 🍩 - for the drive home.
*I added this to my favorites and will be sure to stop back in next time I am in town. 🌹☕️
A cozy spot with flavorful, homemade dishes and a super accommodating owner ready to tailor your experience.

Wonderful place with great food made fresh. I got the meatball sandwich and it felt it was homemade. She was incredibly nice and accommodating, even offered to make the tacos gluten free for my wife. It’s well worth your time and money to eat here!

This hometown store goes out if its way to provide a great selection of delicious deli foods along with plenty of beverages and snacks. It's a good place to stop to avoid the run of the mill convenience store fare. If you're traveling gluten free this is the place to stop for snack crackers.
Always has gluten free and lactose free options. Michael, one of the assistant managers is always happy to help! Please find him if you EVER need anything.
They have everything I need, plus Gluten-free pizza. Good service, friendly people, and always stocked with snack goodies. Not the biggest, but always clean.
Probably one of the better grocery store chains you will visit. Plenty of staff to keep the shelves stocked, produce stock ed, plenty of cashiers too. Selections of organic, gluten free, etc are also offered. These services come at a slight premium. Also fair sized alcoholic beverages.

There are two Casey's in Blair, and this is the newer of the two, the largest, and with the best selection. That said, the other Casey's has friendlier, more capable employees. So it's sort of a toss up as to which one to go to. But if you want tasty, reasonably priced, gluten-free pizza, Casey's is always a good choice no matter where you are.

The other Casey's in town is flat-out rude, so we come here. And as hard as it is to believe, their pizza is really, really good. We especially appreciate their gluten-free crust. Blair is a nice, leisurely drive to get a way a bit from the hubbub of Omaha, and picking up a pizza is a favorite treat.

Meat and Deli departments are great. THEY also have a dietician that comes in and can point out things you can eat, helpful for people with diabetes, hyper tension, or just gluten intolerate.
A hidden gem with warm service and a creative twist on breakfast that leaves you feeling satisfied and appreciated every time.

I recently had a wonderful experience at the U Stop located on 73rd Street, all thanks to the exceptional service provided by the lady behind the counter.
I ordered my usual breakfast burrito but hesitantly asked if it was possible to swap the flour wrap for something gluten-free. Without any hesitation, she gladly accommodated my request and suggested a no-flour-baked masterpiece option (My Words), which turned out to be delicious and satisfying.
Not only was she accommodating, but her warmth and friendliness made the entire interaction memorable. Her willingness to go above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction, truly made my morning.
The baked masterpiece she recommended was bursting with flavor, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Encounters like these make me appreciate the attention to detail and commitment to service by this wonderful lady at U Stop.

Went there on Christmas night I was just happy there open they had very happy employees for working Christmas and being very busy they even took the time making my wife’s gluten free pizza with care Great guys in the kitchen 5 stars all the way
Just found out my son is gluten & dairy free. I wish they would have that kind of stuff in one section of the store. Tired of going thru the whole store.
I was really pleasantly surprised! Our stop here was not planned. We were headed to Lincoln from Omaha, and I started feeling ill from my blood sugar dropping. I don't have a particular medical condition causing it, but I did know that I needed to get something to eat very soon or I was going to be in trouble. So we pulled off the interstate at Waverly, remembering we had seen Casey's here before.
It's a convenience store, and we're gluten-free, so there wasn't a whole lot to choose from that would help with what I needed right then. I was not able to go in and choose for myself, but Hubby selected some tuna salad for me. My first thought when he brought it out to the car was that convenience store tuna salad sounded like a huge gamble, almost like the sort of thing that would be in a cartoon making fun of absurd gas station foods.
One bite and I knew I had been tricked. Surely something that tasted so good wasn't from a small-town convenience store? But wow...it really was yummy! I'm not a fan of tuna salad. It's one of those things I've only eaten out of politeness at someone else's home or when there simply was no other choice. It usually simply tastes too tuna-y and sometimes is too much like paste rather than food. But what we got today at Casey's in Waverly was perfect. First, it taste FRESH, not like gas station food where the tuna salad was clearly made elsewhere far too long ago. No, this tuna salad tasted like someone had just whipped up a batch specially for us. The texture was great, not like the pasty glob some tuna salads can be. And the mixture of flavors was perfect, celery, tuna, some mayo, and only enough salt to bring out the best of it all. This was so good, in fact, that we will be making a special stop at Waverly in the near future to try this again. And if someone is willing to make a special trip for conveniece store tuna salad, you know it must really be THAT good!

First time at a Hy-Vee grocery store. I found many gluten free, soy free, dairy free, and vegan options. I discovered new brands and items I don't usually see at my local store.
The staff at the sushi corner had never heard of celiac disease and did not know what items had gluten in them.
This place goes above and beyond to help find unique items and makes shopping a breeze, leaving you feeling valued and appreciated.

They treat me so nice , when there were certain brands of food I needed for my mom who was 96 with celiacs disease, which means she can't have any red dye or anything with wheat etc. Etc. If they didn't have it there they would order it for me and not just only that stuff. I asked a couple of different times for a different creamer or a certain brand of coffee and go there the next week and it'd be there. I always get help without even having to ask and they all seem to enjoy their work that they make having to do a chore , because I hate shopping but going there they make me feel like it was worth the trip and they always help me whether I ask them or not. Thank you to all you hard workers out there. You are appreciated
