One of the best ice cream shops in the state. Well worth the drive for so many reasons, but let me list a few: 1) They are allergy friendly, specially with gluten which is a challenge with any ice cream shop. I've been going for years and never had a problem with gluten. 2) The ice cream is the old fashioned, high quality recipes. Try the black raspberry blast - it's a personal favorite. 3) The staff is always friendly, patient, and accommodating. Kudos to TK for training and retaining high quality staff. They deserve a raise! 4) They have a variety of desserts and try new things. You never know what you might find on your recent trip. If I had a complaint, it would only be that they could use more seating. But that is easily forgivable for such a great place.

Great vegan ice cream options, and you can try flavors before you decide. Really enjoyed the experience of vegan ice cream with a gluten free cone !! Be aware one counter serves vegan ice cream and the other doesn’t but you wouldn’t know unless you look at the menu on the wall behind each which aren’t at eye level so you could miss it as the counters aren’t labeled. Staff could be more helpful and the seating could be improved but definitely worth the trip.

This place has always been fantastic and the owner takes gluten allergies very seriously. As a precaution, for those with gluten sensitivity or celiac disease, they change gloves use a clean scooper, and open a new container of ice cream to avoid cross contamination. This is key and the reason why we choose this ice cream venue over the plethora available in Cape May. Thank you so much for your compassion for your customer's special dietary needs!

Literally never write negative reviews. Had the WEIRDEST experience there today. My friend was here from out of town. I have been raving about this place since she is gluten free and their desserts are objectively amazing. Since she just had surgery I RAN to Once Bitten to get an order in before they closed. Truly the ONLY thing the girl at the counter said was that I have a minute to decide. She gave the biggest attitude and was clearly annoyed. When my friends walked in a few seconds behind me it was the same "you have one minute" attitude. We learned that they didnt have gluten free that time of night since they were closing (fair) but she was beyond obnoxious and the two girls were literally mocking us as we left. Upon leaving my friends and I were talking about what an awful experience we had - and I then saw the owner outside who decided to berate us and said he heard us saying ridiculous things about the girl (saying that we wanted to smash something in a minors face???). The first thing that came out of his mouth (in a quite threatening tone) was that he reviewed video footage when he heard us talking outside, and he said they did absolutely nothing wrong & defended their attitude, & pressed us for what demeaning comments were made from them. We tried to walk away several times since he was getting quite heated, but he kept yelling at us to come back because he said we wanted to elevate to an owner. Truly an out of body experience that he was yelling at us on the street... But looking at other reviews, it seems their "closing procedure" and attitude are a common denominator.

Great ice cream in creative flavors. They even have vegan and gluten free options, which gives my family the chance to enjoy dessert together. Love the eating space decorated like a sunny day in the park!

Great ice cream! Often a long line on the weekends in the summer, but it moves fast and the servers are always extremely friendly. I love walking here with the family after dinner. (They also have dairy free and gluten free flavors!)

Taylor's Ice Cream Parlor offers a great selection of ice cream, along with a good selection of toppings. While I've only been to the parlor a few times, I've never left disappointed. The servings are a generous size, and worth the price. They also have a selection of gluten free cones, which is a nice bonus. While not amazing enough to warrant a trip just for the ice cream, I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area, and have a craving for the cream!

We ordered an ice cream cake for 14 people 2 days in advance and it was done no problem. We did a 10" cake with chocolate on the bottom with vanilla caramel on top. It needed to be gluten-free so we did a fudge center instead of the crumbles and everyone loved it. The staff is very friendly as well.

This has been our regular go-to ice cream shop in the area for about the last couple of years. Cute little shop with friendly staff and lots of delicious ice cream flavors and toppings. They also offer Italian ice and I believe gluten-free ice cream as well. We will most definitely be back in the spring, as always. Highly recommend!

I love this place for so many reasons! The flavors are dynamic. You can tell they use good ingredients. None of the flavors I have enjoyed ever tasted artificial. If they use coloring it’s minimal. They have vegan choices as well as gluten free. Their staff is super friendly. My family and I enjoy walks there and back. These Walks to and from Da’s are filled with laughs and yummy ice cream! Hands down the best ice cream shop in Morris County!

So excited to have found this gem. The buildinh is spotless and welcome but the ice cream; the home made non GMO ice cream. “Angel” sure knows what they are doing. Also so so so thrilled to have a gluten free crepe option! We got a crepe and a cone and a pint to go. Can’t wait to come back.

Miis Mindy's is our favorite ice cream shop in NJ. It's owner/ family operated by an owner and family that cares! They have a bunch of delicious flavors that are constantly changing and vegan and gluten free options in both hard ice cream and soft serve. I'm not sure what percentage are homemade but many of the flavors are made by miss Mindy herself! Highly recommend.

Not everything is clearly marked gluten free or not but the owner knows everything off the top of his head and is happy to make recommendations. The gluten free cannolis are to die for. I suggest the cows milk ricotta filling.

Depending on your budget, the prices can be a bit high. Staff are often giving out samples. I prefer sorbets to ice cream so this place is great! Plenty of gluten free and dairy free options, which I enjoy.

I discovered this ice cream shop through a voting poll and decided to give it a try, especially during National Ice Cream Day. The line was long, but the wait was absolutely worth it! They offer samples of all their flavors, ensuring you find the perfect ice cream for your taste. Now I understand why it takes some time, particularly for first-time customers. One standout aspect of this store is their exceptional customer service. They first asked if I had any allergies, and as someone who is allergic to gluten, I appreciated their knowledge regarding which flavors are gluten-free. You can really tell that the ice cream is made with high-quality ingredients—every flavor was delicious and well-balanced. I highly recommend this ice cream shop and look forward to returning to try even more flavors!

We have never once had an experience here that was anything other than great! Sunday's is a must, and really steps up to the plate for those of us who like to mix it up and try new things... In addition to more traditional flavors, they offer a great variety of more inventive flavors (Double Dunker, Party Cake, Coconut, and Death by Chocolate are all amazing), they also have vegan, gluten free, and dairy free ice cream options, plus Italian ice so good my husband won't get it anywhere else! There's also a huge selection of toppings, dips, etc, and I can't overstate the quality of the ice cream. If you're lucky enough to be served by the owner, she is incredibly nice, friendly, and openly excited to tell you all about the flavors, and to help with any allergy questions or concerns. Absolutely love this place!! Price-wise - we were literally just there this evening, got a large Italian ice and a large two-flavor ice cream. $12. $6 each is VERY reasonable, I think... And yes, the vanilla ice cream is dog friendly!

My fiancé and I love going to different areas to find great ice cream spots, and this place was really good, although missing the turn to turn in, we made it and I’m so glad we decided to try to come back after missing it initially. Everyone working there was super patient and nice. They had vegan / dairy free vanilla which tasted like vanilla pudding, and 2 sorbet options. They also online tell you what flavors are gluten free. My fiancé got a pint mixed with different boozy ice creams and I got the vegan vanilla. If we are in the area again, we would definitely stop!

So many great options for those who can tolerate dairy as well as those of us who cannot or follow a vegan lifestyle. The Vegan Sunbutter & Jelly was so good. They even had gluten free cones. Staff was super friendly and let you taste flavors before making a final selection. Definitely recommend Owowcow Creamery if visiting or around New Hope!

Biggest and Best selection of Vegan Ice Cream In Somerset County. Extremely delicious. They have Vegan options and Gluten Free options for people like myself and my family, but they also have dairy Ice Cream options as well. We noticed this place on Saturday night when a group of people came out boasting about how delicious the ice cream was. If it weren’t for them, I’m not sure we would have known Fresh was there. A truly hidden gem located on Division Street! Great outdoor seating. Ample indoor seating. Most importantly, a caring knowledgeable staff eager to assist was a welcomed sight! Nice people who know their product. Owners expressed their desire to have a business that appeals to everyone and I believe they do. We have been back twice in 3 days!

We just finished some of the best bowls of ice cream we have ever had. We tried the Lavender Honeycomb, the Tamarind, and the Vanilla. The balance of lavender flavor was perfect and the crunchy honeycombs were crazy good. The Tamarind was also a real highlight, with a surprising tang followed by an amazing aftertaste. The lady behind the counter also got us a clean ice cream scoop when we mentioned my wife is gluten free. How awesome is that?! Please keep making this amazing ice cream!!!

King's Ice Cream in Cape May is a must-visit for any dessert lover. They offer a playful selection of flavors, including creative cereal milk options and classic hand-dipped favorites. While it might be a touch pricier than average, the quality and taste justify the indulgence, especially considering Cape May's tourist-town pricing. A must visit if you’re in the area! With over 24 ice cream flavors, you won’t be disappointed! There’s dairy free along with gluten free options. This year they added dole whip to the menu! The hours on Google are incorrect as we visited at 4:00 pm and they were closed. Couldn’t locate their hours but recommend going later in the evening. Scoops has become a family tradition. Every time we visit Sea Isle, it’s a must visit!
