Excellent, I did no know dosa could be so thin and good. (Also, most of the menu is gluten free.)

Such tasty food and fantastic service as well. You can ask for a separate menu to see the vegan, gluten-free, and dairy free options, of which there are many, including vegan and gluten-free naan. Do not miss the Cauliflower 65. The cocktails are great and the restaurant mood was great too.
This place stands out for its impressive portion sizes, refreshing flavors, and a variety of dairy-free and vegan options.

Food had a good spice.
Would go back again for something different then our norm.
I really enjoyed the coconut curry Basa.
Lots of gluten free options. Chef was working hard in the back for the made to order meals.
Experience an impressive variety of unique dishes with bold flavors, clear spice options, and a welcoming atmosphere that invites exploration.

Ordered delivery so can’t speak to the experience when dining in, but this place has the best variety of dishes I’ve seen almost anywhere. We were able to try some things that we’ve never even heard of before and it was all AMAZING. Especially recommend the mango butter chicken and gluten free naan!
I do want to say how much I appreciated that, at least online, you’re able to choose your spice level and the dish descriptions are so clear about what’s in things. As a picky eater who can’t handle spice, this was a godsend and made for a great ordering experience. We’ll definitely be ordering again and maybe will even pop in to experience the buffet sometime.
Yes, the food is a little pricier than other places, but you’re paying for quality and the clear expertise of the chefs. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for a step above the usual Indian fare.
In response to many of these other reviews - an added gratuity for parties of 8 or more is indeed extremely standard practice and should not be a surprise if you’ve ever eaten out as a group. It really is on the diner to ensure they’re aware of the restaurant’s gratuity policy before dining, and to make sure they are prepared to compensate their waitstaff fairly. Just my 2 cents.

I happened on this place by chance. The food was delicious and there was a lot of choice between vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, chicken, beef, lamb, or goat. The staff are very helpful and my server, Yassine, made an excellent recommendation to order the dill naan to accompany my Monsoon Ki Dal. I highly recommend trying this place if you love ….or if you just want to try authentic and tasty south Asian cuisine.
Get ready for some incredible dosas and unique vegetarian delights in a spot with quick service and tons of variety!

Our server was wonderful and explained to us what menu items we should try to experience dosa for the first time. She had great suggestions and the food was wonderful! My wife was also happy that so much of the menu was gluten free, so when we go back there are many options for her to try. Very affordable prices for the two of us to have supper.
Expect vibrant flavors and generous portions paired with aromatic spices, making this a top pick for Indian cuisine lovers.

We have ordered delivery from Masala Tree a few times and it is always delicious. The only downside I see is that this restaurant does not identify any food or allergy considerations on its website menu online or on delivery services such as Skip the Dishes. When we are deciding where to order takeout with gluten-free people in our party, we skip this restaurant because we would rather not risk it, though we have heard their sauces are most likely gluten free. Updating their menu online to show which dishes accomodate allergy or dietary considerations other than just vegetarian would be appreciated.

The server I had (who I think may be the owner) was super friendly, and he was able to have something made that wasn’t exactly on the menu to accommodate my gluten and dairy allergies, and it was delicious! Super big portion size too!
Expect delicious dishes with generous portions served up quickly, and a knowledgeable staff ready to assist with dietary needs.

I am wildly indecisive, and esting for one, and new to edmonton, so ive been trying to find a place with my favorites! I placed an online order for pickup, for dal makhani , chicken korma, butter chicken, and jeera rice. Oh heck, that jeera rice was incredible, and all three dishes were absolutely delicious! I now have probably enough for days!! The portions are generous and I will absolutely be ordering from here when I get a hankering for Indian food! Also a bonus, I'm celiac and I tried here based on many gluten free searches coming up with namaste as a good option for GF dietary needs!
A neighborhood gem, this spot offers incredible flavors that showcase the art of Indian Subcontinent spices, making it a local favorite.

We are so fortunate to have Swagat as our neighborhood Indian restaurant. I've not eaten anything on their menu that I did not love, though the Palak Lamb is my favorite. I have celiac disease, but my husband says their naan and roti are delicious. I'm a good cook, but I have not mastered the art of Indian Subcontinent spiceways. I am so happy to have Swagat near by to take care of us when we want to eat Indian food.
Renowned for vibrant flavors and a warm atmosphere, this spot is a must-visit for anyone craving an unforgettable meal experience.

This new iteration of Spice Kitchen is awesome! The Biryani was to die for! Quiet and classy atmosphere, kind service attentive to details and fresh big portions dishes. The menu indicates clearly gluten free items and cashews. I love menus with pictures, so this was a nice bonus to make sure we ordered what we thought we were. We, for sure, will be coming back many times!
I'd give Aachy's 3.5 for their takeout. Most dishes were very good and they were abke to tell me which dishes could be made gluten free which is great as we have a celiac in the family.
We loved the chili panner, masala panner snd the chettinand curry. The sauce for the butter chicken was delicious but the meat was a bit dry. We ordered a beef dish that was not very tender at all. We were very dissapointed in the naan. It was like cardboard it broke apart like a cracker. We did not call the restaurant to complain about the naan. I'm sure if we were dinning in they would have exchanged it for us. However, with take out I think they should be very careful about what they are sending out.

This was our second time coming to Haweli. It was as great as we remembered! The food is so good, the character of the restaurant warm and welcoming and the service very attentive and kind. Anmol and the rest of the staff took great care of us. They were helpful with my gluten sensitivity. Highly recommend the Uttepam and Goan fish. We will be back to try the buffet soon!
Manpreet is so lovely and helpful! Her customer service is fantastic. She knows me by first name and always accommodates my gluten-free preference. I love the food!

Not just the best Indian food in Edmonton, the best food in Edmonton hands down. This place is INCREDIBLE. The food is unbelievable, the prices and portions are great, and so much of what they offer is gluten free. The paneer fritters will blow your socks off. I promise. I love this place. AND the staff are so kind and lovely! They also gave us free chana masala. 100/10
Had such a delicious meal at Khazana! The service was fantastic, our server was happy enough to offer suggestions and modifications for the vegan and gluten free person in our group! The portions were huge and they were ready to bring more rice and Naan as requested. The food was superb. And on top of all that the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. Would 10/10 reccomend!

We have become regulars diners at Saffron for over a year as this south side restaurant has become one of our go to spots for spicy comfort food.
The venue is noticeably polished while this cleanliness standard has been maintained throughout our experience. I will mention I find the venue to be brighter than preference due to a personal light sensitivity however, we usually opt for a semi private booth in a slightly dimmer section. The modern interior is perfectly set up for events and get togethers with an open concept design for the majority of the restaurant which includes a lovely bar. While we don't regularly purchase alcohol within this venue they do have a large list of house cocktails at a reasonable price point.
We currently have favourite dishes at Saffron that we regularly order being; The Chili Paneer with a substitute of Cauliflower instead of Paneer. As Saffron offers options of spice level to their dishes this crispy cauliflower dish can be ordered mildly spicy with tons of flavor available or a high spice level that will provide a sure kick to your taste buds. I would recommend to order the milder version if you are new to spice. Alongside this we also order The Lamb Curry, this is a regular dish of choice for us anywhere we go and have never been disappointed here no matter the spice level. However, I have personal preference for a medium or higher option of spice level for curries in general and continue this trend here. We have also ordered and enjoyed The Goat Curry as well. A side of basmati coconut rice, gluten free roti and peppermint tea with honey accompanies our meal as this provide a lovely sweet side to our normally spicy dishes. If you do not have any sensitives or allergies I would highly recommend to upgrade specfically to their Garlic Naan ( not pictured ) as this always comes out hot and is the perfect match for any Curry.
Seating has always been quick alongside attentive service with short wait times. That being said the wait is always worth it, as we leave with the satisfaction of a full service meal that somehow mananges to also bring us the comfort that is usually only brought to you with home cooking. As always, we look forward to our next visit.
Experience a delightful array of flavorful options with customizable spice levels that keeps everyone coming back for more!

Fantastic dinner tonight! The food was hot and labeled when it arrived and then when we tasted it! Oh my goodness it was DELICIOUS! We will order from here on a regular basis! I had called before we ordered to check on gluten free details. They were so friendly and helpful and there is the option of heat (hot spices) level on each dish you order

I was at the Spirit of India Kitchen recently and very happy with the food and service. They accommodated requests for gluten free and level of spiciness with
our order. Restaurant was clean, tables were big/spacious. There were even plugs on walls for charging electrical gadgets. There was ample parking in front. Will definitely visit again.
Expertly organized for events, this spot excels in satisfying diverse needs and delivering consistently delicious flavors.

Kathmandu catered a 50 person event for us recently. They did a fabulous job, helping to provide everything we needed for an outdoor party including chafing dishes, cutlery, etc. They were on time, helpful with set up and were able to accommodate our needs for gluten free, less spicy options, etc.
The food here is always very tasty. You MUST try the momos!
