The quality of the food here was excellent. My friend and I visited twice on our trip to Nice and we were welcomed back very warmly! They could adjust the spice level and were very knowledgeable on gluten free, which as a coeliac was very reassuring. Almost all the menu is gluten free which is great!
A cozy gem with a warm atmosphere, offering delicious dishes made from local organic ingredients and standout unique desserts.

We went to the Ismail restaurant three times during our stay in Paris. We found out about this restaurant because it offers gluten-free options. There is a wide selection of gluten-free options. The food is without exception excellent and highly recommended. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Reservations are easy to make online and are recommended.
A vibrant gem known for stunning dishes and meticulous attention to detail, making it a must-visit for food lovers.

Tiny neat restaurant with a lovely decoration has Lots of veggie options, well-described menu with all details about Gluten, Végétarian and Dairy even spice rating and a good wine list.
The ceiling is a bit low and all the tables were close to each, so it was pretty noisy. And it took us 20min to order our foods. (no one came to our table) But foods were absolutely tasty!
We strongly recommand Chou-Fleur Manchurian and Kathrika Masla. Garlic Naan and Cheese Naan were great as well. Hope to have a butter naan in the futur. :)
Enjoy a unique build-your-own bowl experience with fresh ingredients and a lovely owner sharing a passion for authentic Indian flavors.

My daughter, who has Celiac disease and has to be very careful about gluten and food preparation, found this gem of a restaurant. Our family of nine all loved the food. The store owner shared his story and his love for the food. I would highly recommend. The food is fresh, quick preparation and very tasty.

Warm, calm, delicious food and very good value for money.
Gluten free naan and also fries done in a delicious way.
Mixed plates are perfect for enjoying lots of flavors even with a reduced appetite.
Excellent Restaurant that has existed for over 10 years. I gladly returned after a few years and it’s still delicious!
The restaurant always offers gluten and lactose free dishes.

Great spot to grab lunch with vegan options. All vegan options are also gluten-free. The dahl, saag aloo, and vegetable bahji were all great. The onion bahji is very good too. I wish the rice was vegan, but it's not. The waiter was very nice and knowledgeable. The seating is limited, and the space is not kid-friendly ss there are no high chairs nor changing table. We managed with the big chairs and keeping our toddler on our knees. Would go again!
Great location and 90% menu is gluten free. Service super friendly and speaks English. The food was delicious.
Parking on Saturday evening was no problem.
For those craving authentic Indian and Pakistani cuisine, this spot is a must-visit with its expertly crafted dishes and vibrant flavors.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Indien Bollywood Restaurant, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Located in France and in a town named Genéve. Their menu offered a wide range of options, which catered for all dietary requirements, from vegan to gluten-free. This was a pleasant surprise because as some with dietary restrictions, I was thrilled to see extensive options available. They also had a variety of drinks, such as wines, beer, juice, and traditional drinks. All of the items seemed over expensive, however, the quality of the food was worth the cost. The restaurant was targeted towards people looking for a quiet and enjoyable two-person dining experience.
From the moment we stepped inside, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, who escorted us to a beautifully decorated restaurant table. The restaurant's decor created a lovely atmosphere with inviting warm ambient lighting, intricate wooden carvings, vibrant artwork, and stylish light features that added the touch needed. Its well-spaced seating arrangements created a cosy setting, and soft background music added to the overall ambience, creating a delightful dining experience. The friendly and helpful staff further enhanced the experience, making us feel like valued customers, and making us feel at home.
For our appetiser, we choose the Samosa Chaat. Although it didn’t quite live up to our expectations, it was still a decent dish. The flavours were unique, unlike anything I'd tasted before, and despite the samosas being slightly undercooked, we admired the attempt to put a creative spin on the traditional favourite.
Moving on to the main course, the Paneer Butter Masala and Dal Makhani were the way to go. I don’t regret getting these for my main course because everything about them was perfect. The PBM was well-cooked, and though it leaned towards the sweeter side, it was still enjoyable. The Dal Makhani was an absolute delight. The flavours were perfectly balanced, and the creamy texture was divine. I couldn’t get enough of it. The garlic naans we had with the curries were exceptional. They were fluffy like soft pillows and tasted like heaven. It had the perfect amount of garlic and butter, which made us order a few extras to fulfil our carvings. We also had the vegetable biryani as a side, which didn’t quite hit the mark, as the rice and the spices felt undercooked.
For our dessert, we treated ourselves to Gulab Jamuns and Keser Kulfi. The Gulab Jamuns were tasty, though they were a bit too sweet for my liking. However, the Keser Kulfi was pleasant, it had a smooth consistency and with its pleasing taste in my mouth, it made me crave more. One way this dessert could have been even better was by adding ice cream on the side. Ice cream and gulab jamun are the best combinations, and I was disappointed to see that this restaurant had not thought about this.
The culinary experience of my visit was mostly enjoyable, I would like to mention a slight concern about the restaurant's cleanliness. It seemed like the tablecloths weren’t appropriately washed as there were minor visible stains of curries and small amounts of accumulated crumbs.
Despite the minor setbacks, I would like to highlight that the positives of this restaurant outweigh the negatives by a lot. The friendly staff, a wide variety of menu choices, and some standout dishes like the Dal Makhani and Garlic Naans made the experience worthwhile and memorable. Overall, I had a pleasant dining experience at Indien Bollywood Restaurant and I would recommend it to others looking for delicious menu options with great service in a comfortable setting and delightful atmosphere. With a few adjustments to the sweetness level in some dishes and a bit more attention to cleanliness and presentation, this restaurant could easily become a top-notch dining destination. I look forward to seeing how the restaurant will continue to refine its offerings and will certainly consider visiting again in the future.
Charming spot with warm vibes and a unique kids' menu that introduces them to authentic flavors, making it a hit for families!

Beautiful restaurant with typical decor and a warm atmosphere. The restaurateurs recommended it to us for our children, for whom it was their first Indian meal. They loved it. Adapted and Indian children's menu (no nuggets or anything else, it's great!) Perfect for gluten and lactose free. I found what I was looking for and was able to enjoy it like everyone else. Home cooking is delicious! Voiron is lucky to have you!

Excellent and refined cuisine. One of the best Indians I've ever had. Many choices for vegetarians or those with intolerances (gluten/lactose etc.)! Original taste and flavors. Spicy but not too spicy (this obviously depends on the dishes). The terrace is pleasant on sunny days. Fast and efficient service.
Authentic Indian flavors shine here, with generous portions and standout dishes that impress even the pickiest eaters.

Oh YEAH! What a gem. I grew up in Singapore so I never expect much of Indian food in Europe but this place nailed it. Creamy palak paneer, spicy dhal, smooth and rich butter chicken, nutty biryani, garlic naan with a literal layer of garlic inside.. fantastic. Our entire group of 10 ate everything on the table.
Portions are good and the flavours are authentic. Absolutely recommend this place for great Indian food.
Not just that but they handled the gluten allergy within the group exceptionally.

They have a wide variety of delicious food with great vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options and I was very pleased with the waiting staff being so helpful and punctual. I love it, this place was a blessing when I arrived in La Courneuve. Vegetarian but with lots of vegan and gluten-free options. Very affordable prices. The adorable servers. Generous portions. I will come back even if I now live 15km from the
We went to check out Bistro Doudou, which is an hours drive away, so we can recommend it to our guests if they visit Bar-Le-Duc... it was a drive worth while!
Very nice location with a terrace in city centre, very nice staff and simple but colourfull dishes full of taste explosions!
Their sundried tomato tappenade with tofu is divine, there was gluten free bread and the main course was delicious with fresh local and organic veggies. The Almond cake for dessert was lovely, too and we will certainly be back!
I had an excellent evening, very pleasant and warm staff. They were kind enough to take into account my intolerance to gluten and lactose. Delicious dishes, mango juice and mint tea as well. I will come back with pleasure.
The food is excellent (from lassi to nan, chicken, beef, vegetarian dish, starters), substantial quantities and modest prices. The welcome is warm, and the team takes great care. Good advice, especially for customers allergic to gluten or lactose. They even offer to adapt the dishes if certain ingredients pose a problem (replace the milk with coconut milk, etc.)
A buzzing spot with unique spice options and friendly vibes, perfect for a cozy night out or family dinner.

What a great find! Busy even on a Monday evening!
The waiter was so friendly, pleasant and helpful when we asked about gluten free meals (this has not always been the case in French cafes and restaurants unfortunately).
Both waiters had excellent English, which was great.
When ordering, they give you spice/heat level options. They also offer French cheese instead of paneer in case you're dubious about paneer (don't be, it's the most delicious cheese to cook with!)
We had lamb Madras (excellent), palak paneer (excellent), chicken korma (good), and butter chicken (good). The latter two dishes were for my children who like milder dishes.
The kulfi dessert was beautiful, and I also tried lots of sorbets which were tasty too.
We left with lots of free mango sweets from the kind waiter!
*Highly recommend this restaurant*
Good Indian cuisine with gluten-free dishes. The cheese nans are excellent and the byriani are excellent if you want to eat without too much fat. Also recommended: mango lassi.
Ok, after almost 3 weeks holidaying in France with my wife, we booked an overnight stay at a Best Western hotel along the river, on our way home.
After looking on google maps for restaurants we spotted Ishwari Indian restaurant and with my wife being Coeliac she needs Gluten Free food, something which we believe isn’t too readily available in France or maybe too many restaurants don’t take it seriously enough as, they say yes “sans gluten “ then bring out bread or put croutons in the salad!?
Anyway it took 15 minutes to walk to the restaurant, which looks typically Indian and thankfully the food was absolutely beautiful and tasty at very reasonable prices.
The service was quick and we were looked after well and our waiter was very pleasant and sociable.
It was the best meal we had all holiday and would definitely recommend.
Many thank
A lovely address with a wide choice of teas/coffees/infusions and desserts. Special mention for the gluten-free buckwheat and almond cake. Very warm welcome and neat and tasteful place.

Indian restaurant worth it! I can only recommend it! Warm welcome and very friendly waiter, who explains the specialties kindly and in detail. Possibility to choose the desired spice level for the dishes. The portions are generous and of good quality. I was able to take away the remains of my dish which will give me a second meal even though I left the restaurant really full. Dessert was offered to us (I, who am not a fan of Indian desserts, was won over by the cornmeal cake). Many breads or donuts are offered with corn or chickpea flour, perfect for those avoiding gluten and there are many vegetarian options as well.
Thank you to the waiter for his great kindness and impeccable service, thank you to the cook for these delights to taste. We had a great time and will come back!
Step into a beautifully designed space with a warm welcome, perfect for enjoying a delightful Indian meal, though portions may feel a tad small.
