Amazing meal at Mowgli. It was my first visit and I loved it. We were a group of five - three adults and two children. The adults ordered the street food sharer for the three of us, and the kids each had a chicken butter curry and rice. Now, the food was excellent, but the restaurant was understaffed and service was really bad. I appreciate that it was mother's day and very busy. Once seated, we waited about 15 minutes to be given menus, and we were asked what drinks we wanted which we ordered. Another 15 minutes went by, no drinks had arrived, but the waitress appeared to take our food order. She also repeated our drinks orders which was strange. I think this is where things went a little stray. We ordered the street food sharer for three and two more curries and two more rice for my nephews. When all the food arrived, there were four rice rather than five, two rotis rather than three. There was still plenty of food and we weren't sure if one of the kids meals hadn't been put through or one of the sharers. Once we finished eating it was another 15 minutes for the table to be cleared and for ice creams to arrive (you get a scoop of salted caramel with the sharer meal). Definitely book a table in advance. There is plenty of choice for vegans and gluten free. I like the individual portions and sharing options. I didn't take many photos as I was too keen to enjoy!!

Don't come here if you have Celiacs. Nothing on the menu says GF and the choice is extremely restricted. None of the starters are available to you. Indian cuisine has many dishes that don't contain wheat or barley. But not here!

I went on a fabulous fourth date here. The location was very convenient for both myself and my date as we were meeting after work. He was annoyed that he could not book a table in advance and I know Dishoom don’t allow for this, you have to queue. Kings Cross has completely changed, I really liked where Dishoom was. They told us we would have to queue for up to 40 minutes but truthfully it was more 20 minutes before we were inside. The lovely staff gave us tasty mini lemonades whilst waiting in the queue which was a lovely touch. I loved the decor in here. We were initially taken downstairs into the bar area and I was about to order my Mocktail when our table was ready. They had a decent selection of gluten free options for my date which was good and the waitress was very knowledgeable about this as well. I had a delicious Rose and cardamom lassi and an Espresso martini mocktail. As an Asian woman and a proficient home cook, I know what Indian food is and how the standard should be. I really liked my starter but my date’s starter of bhel was pretty dry, they did not give much sauce whereas I know there should have been more. The seekh kebabs were amazing as was my chicken biriyani. It was too much food for me and the portions were huge. I took the biriyani home and gave it to my daughter who is at uni who equally loved it. I love the decor and atmosphere, we had a really fun date here. I would love to come again for breakfast/brunch. ☺️💕

A place with cool atmosphere and average food. Sadly, a very strange and rude attitude serving people with intolerances or allergies. I have a dairy and gluten intolerance. The servers told me to check a confusing online allergen menu myself with no guidance rather than answer any question about the menu. Then, we ordered the nachos with yogurt on the side, not an abnormal request. A manager literally came to us to tell us having the yogurt on the side would inherently alter the dish and they couldn't do it. I worked in hospitality for 6+ years and this is absolutely crazy. We were blown away by the arrogance of this, which seems to be decision from the chef, not the FOH. It's not haute cuisine, it's fusion nachos at a chain restaurant. Just put the yogurt on the side. Overall, food is acceptable, nothing remarkable, and the atmosphere is cool - but you would get better allergen service even at the worst of chain pubs. Would not come back.

The King's Arms at Hanwell Broadway is a great neighborhood pub. It offers delicious wood fired pizzas with vegetarian and gluten free options and a broad selection of drinks. There are craft beers and a wide range of gins on offer on top of the usual pub drinks. They also offer discounts, £7 pizza Monday to Wednesday and other discounts for NHS staff, key workers etc The staff are always knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly with quiz nights, live music nights and sports tv channels. There is also a good sized garden at the rear. I would definitely recommend a visit to the Kings Arms in Hanwell.

Such a great spot for South Indian food! You’ll discover Indian dishes you didn’t know existed, not just your standard curry menu. Overwhelming number of choices for veg/vegan and they even cater to onion/garlic/gluten free. Great for sharing and discovering new tasty dishes. Lovely service too. Basic decor but very clean and authentic.

Went last night and it was absolutely wonderful! The food and cocktails were fantastic but what stood out to me was the care they gave to my intolerance. I’m gluten intolerant so it can be quite hard to go out to eat and it can feel embarrassing having the huuuuge allergen folder dumped at your table for you to flick through! Our server instead labelled my menu with all the items containing gluten and the ones that could be made gluten free to order. They said they’re working on a qr code but for now this is how they label allergens. I thought it was wonderful and will definitely be coming back!

The fiery Lamb dish was incredible! Lots of spices and a good choice for an indian evening. They were helpful concerning allergies. They have no gluten-free kitchen but seemed knowledgeable in decreasing the risk for gluten cross contamination. Helpful staff and good wines on the menu! Thank you for a lovely evening.

We spent an excellent evening in this warm restaurant with its subdued lights. This is not the first time we have come and we are always captivated by the flavor of the dishes. The menu clearly lists allergens and there are several vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free options. The staff is attentive and we are always served quickly. Restaurant with a very pleasant, spacious atmosphere, attentive and friendly workers. As for the menu, it is very extensive which makes it easy to find an optimal option. As for gluten, the menu was reduced, but I was still able to choose from several dishes. Of course, if you are sensitive to spiciness, like in my case, you should ask for extra rice to neutralize it haha.

Well labelled food catering to everyone. As a gluten free vegetarian there’s PLENTY of choice here. I’ve just moved nearby and I’ve now been 3x. The staff are INCREDIBLE and friendly, they always seem to go above and beyond. Suni is just awesome and has a great natural banter - it seems with everyone! Whenever I see her another table everyone seems to be enjoying her! The food is amazing, every dish I try I’m always blown away by how good it is. Even their kind of standard dishes are next level! Their onion bajhis, which Ive always thought of as an afterthought side, are BEAUTIFUL. I’m sure I’ll be here a lot given that I’ve lived here 5 weeks and been 3x.

Everything from start to finish here was perfection and it’s on my list to go again the next time we are in London. We made a reservation about two months in advance where they asked for us to add in any dietary restrictions (gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, etc). They have specific menus that highlight dishes that people with restrictions can consume which is so helpful! I am not the biggest gin drinker, but their classic pink g&t tasted so light and refreshing. My friend ordered the masala margarita and also loved her drink. The stars of the show for me was the Aloo Chat, Lasooni Wild Tiger Prawns, and the Chicken Butter Masala. The move here is definitely to order a bunch of dishes, and share among the table so you can get a taste of everything! The service at Gymkhana is also unmatched. Someone was always stopping by at just the right time to refill drinks, ask if we had any questions or needed anything else. While we were unfortunately too full for a proper dessert, they left us with little cubes similar to a Turkish delight that were so tasty! Cannot wait to come back.

Absolutely amazing food, it's the best Indian food I've ever eaten. Staff is nice and very welcoming, we even had a little chat, it felt so cozy and warm. Seemed like all the visitors in the room were very satisfied and happy with everything too. I recommend this place to everyone! And I recommend this to vegetarians and people who are on a diet too, it was clearly marked in the menu if some food was vegan or gluten free etc. Had a great time here!!!:)

Really lovely staff and welcoming. The food was incredible and I felt comfortable talking about my gluten allergy with them. They told me 95% of items were gluten free (including all the curries). I would recommend you to go. Indu was a great server.

We came here for my partner’s birthday. We tried each of the main curry (dahl, cauliflower, egg and potato and curry special with pol roti and muttonless roll on the side). All were absolutely delicious and so flavourful. Absolutely lovely manager - we were informed that we only had the table for a little over an hour but we needed to stay longer for a surprise I had planned for my partner. The manager was wonderful about this and very attentive when taking our orders. Only negative - we started the meal with some chai lattes. My partner’s mother is coeliac so we double checked the oat milk was GF. Heard the manager say it was GF but not for coeliacs, the waitress then came back and said yup, my partner’s mum could drink as was GF (missing the crucial “not for coeliacs” comment), which we then double double checked - not great, but obviously only one experience! She was a bit grumpy about being asked at all hence us making a note of it but coeliac is coeliac and we needed to clarify. Would definitely come back though, lovely restaurant.

We went here on a whim to try something new and it turned out to be the best Karachi style food I've had so far. Every single item we ordered was freshly made with a distinct flavour and nothing disappointed us. Anyone who goes here should definitely try the gola kebabs and Bihari boti. The kheer is also slow cooked and not too sweet absolutely perfect. The aspect that stood out the most despite the amazing food was how wonderful the staff is, especially Mr. Ghufran who made the entire experience so much better with his kind words and demeanor. They have gluten-free items available, happily check to confirm any ingredients. A great family place for food, will definitely come again

This was such a great place! We went with a group of 6 people. The atmosphere was amazing. The staff (mainly Raj) was so helpful and suggested all kinds of food to try. The food was just as good as the atmosphere! I am also gluten free and everyone was so helpful explaining what I could eat (everything but the naan bread). We will absolutely be coming back.

I’m gluten sensitive and both my wife and I were able to order our favorite foods off of the restaurant’s respective tasting menus. Gorgeous dishes prepared with such care and delicate spices. Best Negroni I’ve ever tasted. Can’t wait to return!
