Nice experience overall, we went because my friend is gluten free/vegetarian and it had many options. Food was okay, not amazing in flavour but I wouldn’t say we were disappointed. The salad had way too much salad leaf and not enough of anything else. Also went back for coffees the next morning but only made with coconut milk and the frappes made us feel a bit sick as they were very creamy and a bit full on. Nice vibe though, pretty quiet as in not busy and friendly staff. You do have to sit upstairs and then walk back downstairs to order which was okay but could put some people off. Otherwise the service was good!
A cozy spot with amazing views and a chill vibe, perfect for morning yoga, coffee, and relaxing in a welcoming atmosphere.

Chef told us their bread is gluten free but when ordering I double checked with the waitress and she said it is not.
Had I not thought to double check I could have easily ate something I am severely allergic to. The managers reaction was one of “it’s okay because he’s not the one taking the orders” which is absolutely reckless and an attitude that could kill someone with a severe allergy if they didn’t double check.
Absolutely shocking and dangerous.
With a standout Asmara Collection" and exceptional flavors, you'll find a unique gem that keeps food lovers coming back for more.

Went there because other reviews mentioned gluten free. We've eaten there every night since. Excellent food. We live in Singapore which has a foodie reputation but it's very average if you're a coeliac. Singapore has nothing like Asmara. Great flavours. Had an excellent sambal with one of the Indonesian options.
