As a coeliac this was a fantastic place to eat! The only feedback I would say is that there were no alternative other than GF penne.. Other restaurants that cater for GF do have GF fettuccine as an alternative and it makes such a difference with your meal. This is only a minor complaint. Service was exceptional, food arrived quickly and was delicious. Overall it was great place to go

The best Italian resturant in Canberra!! I have been here many times, and each time the food is AMAZING!! Their gluten free options are plentiful, and they take great care in no cross contamination and also offer celiac friendly and vegan options!! The second I walked in to Mezzalira it took me back to my Nonnas kitchen. The smells were just incredible and we hadn't even reached our table.
The food was simply perfect. It was proper authentic Italian food that was beautifully simple and incredible in flavour. I had a the Tagliatelle carbonara that was just like the food you get in Italy. My husband has the Pork Neck (gluten free options!) Which was delicious.
Our deserts were stunning. I had the poached pears which were incredible and my husband got a gluten free chocolate torte which was rich and chocolatey and just divine.
The service the whole night was grat. Our waiter was knowledgeable, charming and had a wonderful sense of humor, making the whole night enjoyable!
