Enjoyed the food. The lasagne could have been hotter in the middle but it was very nice. The flexibility and availability for gluten free was great. Service was pretty terrible. We had empty water glasses on the table from the time we got there to the time we left. Servers had 6 chances to offer us still, sparkling, or tap water. I had to wait until the entree was served to order a beer. We only had someone come around after we'd finished all our food to ask if everything was OK. My partner asked for a new cutlery set after our entre so the truffle flavour didn't affect the main. They never bought it out and we were sitting outside so couldn't get any attention. I had read msg reviews saying food great, service not so. I guess I should have expected as much

The food here is incredible and the menu is very well accommodated for people with dietries such as gluten free / dairy free etc. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was buzzing. Have been here a few times now and will definitely be back for more.

The menu highly recommended the hot chips. We ordered it and the chips were served warm (photo). We send it back and asked for hot chips. It was served hot this time but hard and dry like it had been re-heated in the fryer. That was a bit disappointing. My partner was craving Spaghetti Bolognese commented the flavour was ok but it wasn’t al dente. My gluten free gnocchi was the better part of the meal. Overall the food served had no wow factor hence 3 stars

I had takeaway delivered to Scratch bar and was what to expect as I can’t eat gluten and dairy. The vegan fungi pizza with some pepperoni was superb. Staff were helpful and delivery prompt. I have eaten gf and vegan cheese pizza in several countries including Italy and this was just fantastic. Thanks. I will be back soon

Was excited to try this restaurant as it came recommend for gluten free dining. We enjoyed a tasty pasta dish and flatbread, with very generous servings. Prices are a little higher but one pasta dish and flatbread was plenty of food for two adults to share.

This is my first time going to Augellos, and I have to say they did not disappoint. For someone like me who has allergies, there's a little uncertainty about going to a new restaurant. When I asked the waiter, who turned out to be the manager. His reaction was no problems at all; just tell me what you can and can't have, and we'll make it happen. Sigh of relief. I also saw on the menu they cater for people who are Gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan. They also do takeaway. They were fully booked, and they have a kitchen you can see into, which is always pretty cool to see. One thing I noticed is that the staff were not rushed or overwhelmed. The restaurant had a great atmosphere. Our meals didn't take forever to come out, and they were sensational. I will definitely recommend booking ahead. It's no wonder they are one of the longest-standing restaurants in Mooloolaba.

What a wonderful place for families. The kids pizzas came in the shape of a bear and rabbit. What a great way to make it fun. I am celiac and they cater for that with GF pasta and pizzas. We even got a free garlic bread on entry. Will be back and highly recommend for the future.

Just had dinner at Piccolino’s on Hastings St Noosa and it was wonderful. ALL their pasta is GF and it was delicious. Only 1 of our party of 5 is coeliac and everyone absolutely loved their meal. 5 stars

One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to. The reviews we so good I thought, I have to try Alfresco Italian. I'm celiac, and they catered for me without any trouble. The meals were delicious, service was top level and a great atmosphere and decor. I'll be back.

Delicious food and a whole lot of gf options! We had a pizza and pasta. The host was very knowledgeable about coeliac disease and double checked everything before it came to the table. Definitely make a trip here if you’re in Airlie Beach.

Located right on the beach, this restaurant made the perfect pre beach lunch spot. Seating available inside and outside, with views of the ocean from many tables. We enjoyed this restaurant so much, we returned for lunch again later in the week. My husband and I both require gluten free meals, and there were entrees, mains and desserts that were available gluten free. The gluten free pizza bases were thin and crispy, just like we love them, and the gluten free garlic pizza was to die for! Both times I ordered the eye fillet, but the second time, I included the optional prawns. Highly recommend for coeliacs or those needing gluten free. Parking can be hard to find on the weekend, and we found parking easier when we returned during the week. Will definitely return here next time we are in FNQ.

If you are gluten free you have to go here!! You can tell that the pasta and pizza bases are so freshly made they both just melt in your mouth!! The bolognese is so flavourful and the mushroom pizza is the perfect balance with the caramelised onions and mushrooms!! But if there is 1 thing to get is the tiramisu it is the most fluffy and creamy tiramisu I’ve ever had and it’s gluten free!!!

What a disappointing response, below, from the owner/management team here. The assertions below are incorrect, which is why I am again taking the time out of my lovely Gold Coast holiday to write this - there was no unacceptable behaviour on our part, only valid criticism (we then paid and left). And the innocent customer nearby was not encouraging calm or attempting to ‘diffuse’ the situation - he was expressing his kind support of us!!!!!!! Clearly La Calabrese cannot accept any form of criticism - there appears to be a pattern here, if one considers many of the other negative reviews below (criticisms are offered by patrons; La Calabrese then appears to become defensive; disingenuous assertions are then made in respect of the patron’s behaviour etc). Absolutely appalling treatment and response. ________ “La Calabrese Italian Restaurant Breakfast and Dinner (owner) 18 hours ago Hi Michael, As we mentioned to your friend Ben under his review, we understand your frustration over the unavailability of gluten-free pasta. However, your behavior towards our staff and the innocent customer nearby, who simply encouraged calm, was unacceptable. Our menu offers a variety of gluten-free options, including 6 entrees, 3 appetizers, 2 mains (please note the chicken roll was removed weeks ago, not just yesterday), 3 sides, 14 gluten-free pizzas, and 2 desserts. Despite these choices, you and your friend insisted solely on the gluten-free pasta, which was unfortunately sold out that evening. While we are not exclusively a pasta restaurant, we take pride in offering a well-rounded selection of gluten-free dishes to accommodate a range of dietary needs. We made a booking based upon the relevant menu, which was then different to when we arrived (prices also appeared to be different). A gluten-free Tagliata as well as a GF Chicken Rolle - all no longer available as the menu that is on the website is no longer relevant and also less expensive. No GF pasta was available. We were not advised of any of this, when we sat down, in respect of what was/wasn't available. Note - if you currently download the dinner menu, it WILL be incorrect as at this time/date. We were clearly disappointed with the offerings available - we then paid for what we actually could have and left. Despite this, the staff at the front desk were too busy bickering and gossiping - not a care was ultimately given. Terrible experience.

I am a very difficult customer with my dairy and gluten issues. I have coeliac disease. I have searched far and wide for an Italian place that could cater to me, I had no idea one was so close to me. Even with the difficulty, this place made mussels, a dish I had been dying to try, possible for me. I’ve missed some true Italian food, but this place has delivered. Had a lovely valentines dinner at our wonderful local Italian restaurant. We shared the 1kg rib steak, was amazing! Plenty of Gluten free options for my coeliac friends. Staff are amazing and make you feel like family. Always love coming here.

Staying in Noosa for a few days on a family holiday and the food was so good we had to come back again! I had the most delicious pasta ever (the pan fried potato gnocchi) and was very pleased by the great range of options as a gluten free vegetarian. The people were incredibly lovely and made us feel so welcome! 100% would recommend!!

Fantastic dinner at Marios. We didnt have a reservation, but we were grateful staff had a table available on a very busy night. Staff were super attentive and helpful with our dietary requirements. Ordered 2 Hawaiian pizzas for takeaway. One Gluten Free as I am a celiac and it is crucial for me to not ingest gluten. The box was marked incorrectly. I am now very unwell. Rang Sorbellos to let them know this has happened. Very disappointed as I had previously felt confident eating from Sorbellos.

Very disappointing. On holiday and was excited to try Somedays Pizza. Booked a table noting that we had dietary requirements (my wife is coeliac). It was only once we had ordered and started to enjoy our drinks that we were told that there were no gluten free bases available. I would recommend for anyone with dietaries to confirm with the restaurant before arriving to avoid wasting your time.

People with allergies should be careful eating here. The server was very attentive and assured us that my dairy allergy can be accommodated. We ordered chips without Parmesan and a gluten free and dairy free pizza. When the chips were bought out we double checked again to make sure it was Parmesan free and even asked the server if the small white substance was garlic and was assured it was definitely garlic and the chips were dairy free. I noticed more of the white substance looking a lot more like grated cheese when packing the chips in a takeaway container at the end. When I bought the chips to the server to ask again that’s when she realised and I got a lukewarm sorry. I have a slow developing allergic reaction so the symptoms manifested 1-2 hours later. I paid almost $100 to be given food that gave me a severe allergic reaction and a lukewarm sorry.
