Celiac-friendly Italian with an excellent wine list! Almost all of the pasta can be done gluten-free and they have a wide selection of sauces. I had the carbonara and it was absolutely perfect, exactly what I needed after a long week. Their wine list is expansive and has several local gems as well as a wide variety of Italian imports. And their dessert menu is also great- the honey gelato was floral and creamy and the perfect cap to an excellent meal. Definitely coming back when I am next in Adelaide!

We were visiting Adelaide as an early birthday gift for my husband’s 30th, and I wanted to book a special dinner for him—Luigi Delicatessen was a great choice!

This was an amazing experience, the food was absolutely delicious and the spaghett-about it option left everyone stuffed. Our gluten free friends were really well taken care of as well. Don't bother. We attended as a group of 10 for lunch and none of us will return. No goals were kicked in any of the above categories of food, service or atmosphere. The service from a male waiter was nothing less than mediocre and substandard, requiring repeated requests and involved forgetting meals or drinks, or mixing up orders. Two out of our group liked their meals, the rest of us (ie 80%) weren't impressed - I had really watery tomato sauce that had clearly been watered down. Their gluten free options were also unclear and needed better explanation on the menu. The restaurant was quite loud whilst only being half full, so much so that we couldn't hear each other so the atmosphere was lacking as well. I can't say anything positive about this experience.
