Let me start with “I don’t leave a review very often”.
We ate at Sopra Sotto two nights in a row it was that good. The first night we took a seat at the bar rather than wait for a table and the second night we asked to sit at the bar because of the wonderful service and interactions we had with Ruairi. Ruairi not only entertained us while we watched him making multiple cocktails but he also made great menu recommendations. The Gnocchi with Braised Beef, Rigatoni Fume Pasta and Lava Chocolate dessert were amazing.
This is the best restaurant we have been to in seven weeks of travelling.
The name of the restaurant is misleading because whilst the pizzas looked amazing it has quite an extensive variety of pasta, antipasti and desserts with a great wine list and cocktails.
I ordered gluten free pasta and desert to share with my husband and he couldn’t tell the difference….their gluten free options are that good.
This lively pizzeria offers a clean, welcoming atmosphere with a small patio and spacious back room ideal for gatherings. It features notable gluten-free options, including a highly praised wood-fired gluten-free crust, making it a favored spot for those seeking gluten-conscious dining.
This restaurant offers a warm, cozy atmosphere with an old rustic Italian ambience and attentive service that ensures gluten-sensitive diners feel well cared for. The setting includes inviting outdoor patio seating and is wheelchair accessible, enhancing comfort for all guests.

My son and daughter in law took me here for my birthday. We had reservations and were warmly greeted at the door. The old rustic Italian ambience was very inviting. We started out with a Buffalo Mozzarella appertif and the tomatoes were very refreshing. I had the Veal Parmigiano with pasta. The portion of veal was amazing. The flavour of the tomato sauce brought back memories of Sunday dinners at my Zia's when families and neighbours got together for dinner. My son had the Pennette Al Salmone Offumicatto which he said he loves so much he orders all the time. My DIL the Gluten Free Fettuccine Alla Puttanesca. She said the noodles were some of the best GF noodles she has had. The service was great! Would highly recommend!
This Italian eatery offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a large, heater-equipped patio and spacious, naturally lit seating inside, creating a comfortable setting ideal for those seeking a gluten-free dining experience supported by attentive, friendly service.
Step into a warmly nostalgic space where red vinyl booths and Greek paintings evoke a cozy, family-run vibe from the 80s and 90s. The attentive service ensures a safe and welcoming atmosphere for those seeking gluten-free options, highlighted by a Celiac-safe steak confirmed by the kitchen.
This intimate spot offers a cozy, home-like atmosphere with a welcoming vibe that makes guests feel like part of a family. The staff's genuine warmth and appreciation create a memorable dining experience, especially for those seeking a gluten-free friendly environment with attentive service.

We booked this on Open Table a day before as we actually wanted Vivace but they closed and Nonna's took over the spot so we booked Nonna's.
Our reservation clearly stated gluten and dairy allergy but nobody bothered to check it until 45 minutes before when they called to tell us they don't have anything to fit the allergies. We had scramble to find another restaurant on a Saturday night in the summer.
At least the lady that called was apologetic, polite and efficient and called to at least save us going there.
We appreciate they are a pop up and don't have a full menu but they need to communicate with their guests properly.
