I am not generally a fan of pizza, but this one is clearly an exception. This location has appetizing, brick fire baked pizzas, with a gluten-free crust option. Cozy atmosphere with friendly service.

Only one word to describe this place to keep it simple. Amazing !!!! the food truly athletically made..... the people.... incredible with a passion for the business. Love eating here. Even had gluten free pasta for my mom 😁😁😁 Wont find a place like this unless you go to italy . Will keep you coming back ! Highly recommend

Nico is by far the best Italian restaurant in Windsor. I've never had a negative experience. The quality of ingredients and work behind the elaboration of their dishes are amazing. The presentation is also always on point. The only reason why I'm commenting today is because I've had one of the best steak tartare I've ever had!!! Side note: this place is great at dealing with celiac/gluten sensitivities!! Nico is a gem!!!

Awesome experience! Mussels were fantastic as an appy and my Brasato melted like butter. It was a good portion and ridiculously excellent. Good gluten free options for my lady friend.

As someone with a long list of food allergies, and celiac disease, eating out can be nearly impossible. Simply feeling safe when eating out is difficult, much less having a delicious meal. I'm usually served with some plain dry meat, and an undercooked vegetable. I must say, Mezzo hit it out if the park. I can't recall the last time I felt this looked after, accommodated for and made to feel safe at a restaurant. Pat, the chef in the kitchen, was a true gem, and personally looked after everything. Not only that, he reassured me of their genuine understanding of celiac disease and cross contamination... and accommodated for my other food allergies. MY MEAL WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. * * * * * I highly recommend for anyone who feels like they can't eat out due to food issues...not to mention the service was excellent. Thank you for SUCH a great meal. I'm really touched. I'll be back soon!

Although we have been to spagos many times, the service is always exceptional. Our waitress seemed a little annoyed at times with some of our requests. Two of our guess needed gluten-free and they were questioned about that which shouldn’t be an issue. It wasnt right to see the waiters and waitresses, carrying the tablets inside the back of their pants. It was not noted to see any hand sanitizing done after they touched that and then served our table our drinks. I was extremely disappointed with that. I do understand it may be for convenience, but for hygienic purposes, it was a huge turn off.

Tried their vegetarian create-your-own pizza and absolutely loved it both times. Thin crust, great consistency of base. Options of 1-4 toppings available for no cost in create-your-own. Gluten-free and vegan cheese is available for those with dietary restrictions. Love their Basil as well as garlic dipping sauces, though more choices are available. Effective and efficient service, lovely ambience, and delicious pizzas. Would rate them as one of the best in Windsor!

We just dined at Piccolo's for my mom's 70th birthday. There were 13 of us and the bill was approximately $850, which included tip. 1 glass of wine, no desserts. While the food, portion sizes and service were good, the "extra" charges were on the high side ($5 for gluten free pasta (was aware but a necessity), $9 upcharge for a tiny ceasar salad; really? Without telling the customer again; not everyone reads the fine print) Also, when refills are not free, PLEASE share that with the customers, rather than bringing near endless refills to your customers, especially youth. They have no idea, but neither did their parents. This adds a crazy amount to the total, unknown to your customers until it's too late. We drove over 3 hours to make this a memorable birthday for my mom. (Our wallets will definitely remember this too) Also, just found out that we were charged approx $12 extra with the gratuity. This was noticed after we left while checking the receipt. My sister looked at the menu and the menu says 20%; we were charged 22.6%. Would I return? Quite doubtful. Too many expensive upcharges, as well as lack of transparency.

Who would have thought that picking up a pizza would be such a cool experience. The two gentlemen working tonight were so inviting and gave exceptional service. The best vegan and gluten free pizza!!!!!

We were with a very large party and food and service were EXCELLENT! Food was served family style. 2 appetizers, Caesar salad and penne with 2 different sauces for only $23 per person? Amazing! The bruschetta and arancini were delicious as was the salad. Pasta was cooked to perfection. They were also really accommodating with those in our group who were gluten-free. We will definitely return when we are in Windsor again!

What a charming restaurant and a lovely atmosphere that sent me to the rat pack era. As a gluten free dairy free individual, the restaurant catered to my needs and served up the best pasta I’ve ever had hands down. Our server Chris was a delight and very kind and attentive. It was the perfect meal for after a long travelling workday and I was so pleased with the ambience (felt very suave). 10/10 eatery!

Wow! Another amazing meal at The Cook Shop. My wife participated in her first half marathon today. I wanted to treat her to an amazing meal. She and I have a bunch of food sensitivities and allergies. Whenever we have called a couple of days in advance, The Cook Shop has done amazing meals for us. Tonight, we had a sharable chef board. It started with a salad for each of us, then this delicious spread. It had the best lamb chops we have ever tasted, beef tips in mushrooms, filet mignon, mashed potatoes, asperagus, and pasta in white wine garlic sauce with parmesan crisps. All gluten-free, onion free, and the rest of our problem foods-free. So delicious! They always outdo themselves.

Ran into this place by accident when some other lunch plans fell through. Wasn't disappointed, food was fresh and delicious. Beautiful drink and menu options. They also had gluten free options, just best to ask the wait staff before ordering.

Everything was very good We enjoyed the ribeye & braised short ribs. The ribbon sauce was very flavourful & the meat so tender. Server was very attentive. Maybe offer another gluten free cheesecake dessert.
