I recently had to eat gluten-free, so I ended up at this Italian restaurant. My table companions had delicious looking and tasty pizzas. Unfortunately I had to make do with a dry cracker with some sauce spread on it. I really have a bit of a hangover from it.

Mainly went here for the gluten free pizza. This tasted good. Too bad it was a lot smaller than a normal pizza. The desserts looked very good and tasted delicious too. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that every second they came to our table to ask if everything was to our liking and if we wanted anything else. But other than that it was great and I would go here again.

Gluten-free card! Really nice that this is there. This way you know exactly what you can and cannot order, and that for a pizza restaurant. More restaurants can follow this example. I personally went for the carpaccio and the chicken wings. Really enjoyed it. Was very tasty.

The four of us ate lasagna, insalata mista, pizza twice and pasta once. The pasta was gluten free. All dishes were very tasty, although the pizza base was perhaps a bit too firm. Had dinner here with friends last night and it was really great! To be honest, I had my doubts because of some of the reviews, but they turned out to be completely unfounded. The place looks beautiful, the atmosphere is cozy and the service was excellent. We were helped by a host (or at least someone who clearly had an important role in the service), and that man did his job perfectly. Super friendly, attentive and professional – and let's be honest, he was very good looking too. The food was delicious. I had a pizza that was just right: crispy base, fresh ingredients, just as it should be. My friends went for pasta and a piece of meat, and everything was perfectly seasoned. One of them eats gluten-free and even that was no problem – he got a gluten-free pasta that tasted great. All in all a great evening with good food and great service. Fratelli is highly recommended and I will definitely come back here!

Italian feel-good restaurant with taste, heart and quality The Ristorante Novecento in Haarlem was a real stroke of luck for us - just a few minutes' walk from our hotel and rather reserved on the outside, a wonderful surprise awaits you inside: authentic Italian cuisine, attentive service and a welcoming, family atmosphere. The menu is exemplary - you rarely see it so clear and well thought out: gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options are clearly marked, which makes the selection very pleasant. Even allergy sufferers or people with special dietary requirements can easily find something suitable here. What's particularly nice is that the dishes are creative, but still classic enough to delight the Italian heart. We opted for the vegetarian appetizer platter – the burrata was outstanding! There was also a calzone and a pizza with avocado and fried onions - an unusual but extremely tasty combination. The pizza dough was exceptionally good: perfectly baked, crispy on the outside, airy on the inside - you can taste that the work here is done with know-how and passion. Further advantages from our experience: • Very friendly and warm service, attentive without being intrusive • Fresh, high-quality ingredients that come into their own in every dish • Really good value for money – quality at fair prices • Atmospheric, cozy atmosphere that is ideal for a relaxed evening • Also suitable for families or groups with different preferences (thanks to the versatile menu) The only small note: at peak times it can get a little more crowded and lively - but for us this only added to the atmosphere. Conclusion: If you are looking for honest, fresh Italian cuisine in Haarlem - with particular attention to different dietary requirements - you should definitely stop by Novecento. For us it was one of the culinary highlights of our stay!

Concise menu but something for everyone. Most of the dishes could be made gluten free and I option 1 was vegetarian I think! Reasonably priced and we didn’t have to wait for a table despite it being a Saturday night without a reservation. If you are coeliac or gluten intolerant/allergic I would highly recommend! Your gluten eating friends will love it also!

You order food to share. The meat is excellent. Tuna and burrata als very good. We had someone with us with gluten- allergy and they catered very well for this. To keep dressings apart and they have gluten free bread.

We had our wedding dinner here last summer. The contact was very nice from the very first moment and Valeria also helped us a lot in styling the tables. We had a real Italian dinner with several courses where the bowls of food were passed around as 'shared dining', nice and loose as suits us. The food was delicious and we often hear that from guests, they have taken gluten allergies, lactose intolerance, pregnant and vegans into account, really TOP.
