It's a nice place, but charging £4 for Gluten Free is a bitter pill to swallow. Most places charge nothing elsewhere, so £4 is pretty enormous. Also no idea how you calculate the doubling of the cost from small to large supplement. £2 I could take, but £4? Dial it down or gluten free will go elsewhere.
A go-to spot in Norwich for a unique dining experience, known for its impressive menu variety and quick service that keeps everyone happy.

Seevice was excellent. My friend thought his meal was excellent- lasagne grande & Biscoff cheesecake. My gluten free mains - including the serving dish - wasn't hot enough. My fish was soggy, it was all bland, and the potatoes were dry. 2 of my triple mini desserts were OK but the third was tasteless.
A lively spot with a warm vibe, offering a fantastic variety of options, perfect for special occasions and busy match days alike.

Went for our granddaughter's 18th birthday meal. Food was great. I am on a low FODMAP diet and couldn't believe the number of gluten-free, dairy free dishes available.
Expect a warm atmosphere with attentive service, great attention to dietary needs, and a menu that's thoughtfully curated for a stress-free dining experience.

Booked a table for 6 people on Saturday night, 1 gluten free, 1 vegetarian and 4 "normals"
The food was absolutely superb, we all had starters, mains and drinks. Our server, Rosabella, was lovely, she helped me with the gluten free bible, explained about all the food and different options, took photos for us, nothing was too much trouble for her, she's a credit to Zizzi's.
This was a Zizzi's in Tombland, Norwich.

When we chose Saporita as the venue in which we celebrated our small wedding, we were expecting delicious Italian food. What we received was so much more—a truly unforgettable evening, filled with love, laughter and incredible food, provided by a wonderful family.
Saporita is more than just a restaurant; it’s a haven for anyone who wants to sample real Italian cuisine with a twist. While they serve outstanding pizza, what really sets Saporita apart from the rest is the wide array of mouthwatering dishes that showcase the depth and diversity of Italian cooking. Mama is honestly a genius, one of the highlights of our celebration was the fact that they crafted an entirely vegetarian menu for us, whilst also accommodating every single dietary need we threw at them with remarkable ease and attention to detail. Over the course of the evening, Mama catered not only for vegetarians but vegans, a celiac and someone with a nut allergy, making every member of our party feel cared for and included.
Throughout the evening, we were treated to a seemingly endless parade of delectable dishes, each morsel more delicious than the last, we were made to feel like we were a part of the family, and no request was too much, Veronica and the entire team were exceptionally warm, personal, and attentive without being intrusive.
Our wedding celebration at Saporita was nothing short of perfect. It was intimate, joyous, and filled with love—a true reflection of the restaurant’s spirit. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian family experience, whether for a special occasion or just a memorable meal, we can’t recommend Saporita highly enough. They helped to make our wedding day everything we could have dreamed of and more, and I’m sure they’ll do the same for anyone who walks through their doors.
(Honourable mentions from the menu include: the Panzerotti, the Taglieri – wow, just wow, and the Zucchinina Pizza!)
Enjoy a unique vibe with a variety of options that cater to different dietary preferences, perfect for a relaxed dining experience.

I was extremely pleased to find all pizzas could be offered gluten free/dairy free. This is usually very rare when eating out. So 10 out of 10 for Pizza Express
An enchanting spot with stunning interiors and a mind-blowing cocktail selection, perfect for celebrating any occasion!

Could not fault this place, the interior was beautiful and the cocktails were something else. Had such a wonderful 20th birthday here. So many options to choose from for both drinks and food. Even caters for gluten free which was perfect for one of my friends. The staff were on point with the service and also were very friendly . Would recommend 100x 💖

The food here is great and good value. Best gluten free pizza ever but you have to be quick because it’s strictly a lunchtime affair. The staff are really lovely, please keep it up.
Superb northern-Italian restaurant - friendly, really nice food, decebtly priced and very accomodating to gluten-free dietary requirements. Probably the most well-marked menu for allergens that I've seen!

I am coeliac, and pizza express is a trusted venue for me to choose to eat gluten free. Whilst I understand that there is always never an 100% guarantee food can be coeliac safe, I came in a couple weeks ago and ordered the gf dough balls, after telling my waitress that I was coeliac. The dough balls arrived, but did not look the same and weren’t the same consistency as the gluten free dough balls I usually receive when coming to pizza express. These were too bready, and really had me worried that they were accidentally the non gluten free ones. I asked the waitress to just confirm that they were gluten free, after already taking a bite, and she worryingly assured me that they were. Later that evening when I got home, I had a coeliac flare up, and a really really bad reaction to the dough balls, which I am almost 100% sure were not gluten free. As every other occasion when I have eaten the gluten free dough balls here, I do not have a reaction. I understand it is hard when the restaurant is busy to keep on top of these things. But this is a medical condition and not a choice, I would love to talk further on this.
