We were in on a Sunday afternoon and grabbed a pizza, salad, and gluten free grinder to go. The staff was great, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was ready in a timely manner. The food was delicious! If we're ever in Fort Wayne again, we will definitely be back!
Expect a vibrant atmosphere with unique dishes, but watch out for inconsistently prepared items and varying service experiences.

It's a great place. Plenty of gluten free options. Waitress started out super nice and helped me find something I'd really like. However I added chicken on for an additional 4 dollars and it was brought out burnt ruining the dish. When she asked us if everything was tasting okay she completely ignored what I said about the chicken. Which was just frustrating because i never would have said anything hadnt she specifically asked. Less charcoal flavor and a more considerate staff and this easily would have been a 5 stars.
Local favorite for unique cauliflower crust pizza and fantastic pasta, perfect for a casual meal with good vibes and generous portions.

I am gluten-free due to celiac disease and they took it very seriously. I was not ill at all and had an enjoyable dinner with my husband. We even ran into some family and we live far away. This is always our special go to place.
A lively spot known for its fabulous menu, excellent service, and vibrant atmosphere, perfect for a bustling dinner experience.

Very busy for dinner, but always a great place to stop for food! Gluten-free options are listed on the menu for their pasta, and I have not gotten sick from any gluten contamination in my food.
With a fantastic atmosphere and live music, this spot offers a lively hangout vibe that's perfect for enjoying time with friends.

Very nice people working here! It was my first time at a bar and I had a delicious fruity drink! It was fairly priced and the environment was great. Also ordered pizzas to go which were super good! Thank you for having a gluten-free crust option!! I would definitely stop by Redwood Inn again, great place to be!

I’m from Cleveland here on a business trip & this place is sooooooo good. I’m Italian/Sicilian & very picky about authentic Italian food & this place is the real deal. The sauce/gravy was perfectly flavorful (nothing sucks more than sauce that’s too sweet with no flavor). Also, I’m gluten free (I know, what kind of Italian is GF) and the pasta was delicious. Kudos to them, I would come back to Fort Wayne again for this place. We had the wedding soup, baked ziti, spaghetti supreme, and the shrimp scampi app. Yum.
Expect a delightful experience with a range of helpful options that cater to diverse preferences, making every visit special.

I always have a good meal at Olive Garden. I do not remember what I had, but I am sensitive to gluten. Whatever it was that I ate that evening, I do know that I enjoyed my meal and that the service was great.

The owner has reached out and we have spoken. Jerry was incredibly nice, apologetic and reassuring.
She stated that she re-educated her staff. She spoke with her staff about the situation and will make sure this does not happen again. She understands how serious Celiac disease is and will make sure all staff knows what it is.
She refunded my meal and even at the end send me a Zianos gift card for $100 to make things right.
Although it was not asked of, it is appreciated that she did that.
Jerry, thank you for reaching out and talking with me about the situation and making it right.
I have Celiac and as someone who has that, I have to plan my meals and days out with my family and friends. I called and spoke with the manager and asked if their GF pasta was Celiac friendly. I was told yes. I asked about all of their sauces and he listed off all of the ingredients and assured me they would be kept away from cross contamination and that they did not use any form of wheat, rye, barly, flour..etc in their alfrado and marinara. I asked if they offered gluten free salad dressings and he said that he know for a fact that their house made dressing was gluten free.
When I went with my son, sister and mother I clarified again that what I was ordering was gluten free. I was told yes.
Our server, Krystal, was not at all educated on what gluten was. She kept offering me bread with my salad and I had explained to her many times that I can not have gluten, bread, flour..etc because I have Celiac. When I ordered she had the manager come and I asked to make sure AGAIN that the pasta was gluten free, boiled in it's own pan with fresh water, and that the alfrado was gluten free. No flour, wheat, gluten was used.
The manager told me it was safe.
Not 30 minutes after receiving my food did I start to feel off. My stomach began to hurt. We left and not 15 minutes later I was getting sick, shaking and on the verge of throwing up. I was glutened. I took every precaution and asked many times and was lied to.
When my sister had called and explained the situation, it was another manager, a woman, and she was not educated on what gluten was and said more then likely the pasta was boiled in same water as the others. I wouldn't be surprised if they gave me regular penne pasta. She did not care, did not offer a refund, did not apologize.
As a resturant, you shouldn't be offering gluten free pasta and allowing your staff to say it's Celiac friendly when you boil it in the same water as normal pasta. As a restaurant you shouldn't be allowing your staff to work with food if they don't know what gluten is.
Celiac disease is not just an intolerance. It's an autoimmune disorder that causes pain, vomiting, intense bloating..your small intestine literally destroys itself. I made sure MULTIPLE times. I called before hand to be sure. This is not okay. If i would have known, i would have never had come.
Zianos management, do better in teaching and educating your staff. Because of the lies and uneducated staff I will now be suffering with the pain of being glutened for the next week. Do better.
Expect deliciously surprising pasta in a cozy spot, where fresh wings and generous portions keep the good vibes flowing!

The fresh, homemade, gluten and dairy free noodles were DELICIOUS!! PERFECT texture, chewiness, noodle size...so good!! I had to add a little red pepper to my red sauce because I thought it was lacking just a hint of something, and that was it BUT this is purely just a personal preference and not a criticism.
The building may seem out of place or even small on the outside but it's a decent size (we had a party of 20+ and we took up one room and they had another room on main level and then an upstairs level)...its been there for 40+ years and still has that family atmosphere, the walls covered in the family's photos throughout the years adds to that feeling.
The portions were not American sized but actual portion size, and although we didn't leave with leftovers, we left feeling full but not miserable, and we were both able to enjoy dessert.....yes, dessert! Which for a girl like me that has a severe allergy to dairy and severe intolerance to gluten (plus 5 other food intolerances....and yes I know, going to an authentic Italian place to eat with these allergies, be like 🤦♀️🤷♀️😁), the fact that I was able to get a dessert was amazing 👏 and it was custard with a fresh strawberry sauce, and delicious!!
We spent $80 for 2 of us (total includes a $20 tip because she was good, knowledgeable, and on top of everything) and we had fresh Italian bread at the table, I had a glass of wine (he a soda), he had an appetizer, and we each had our main entree which included a house salad with homemade dressing (again, allergy friendly for me) and our desserts for that price makes it easily comparable to Applebee's or Olive Garden prices BUT the food is way better here!!
