The bartender, Zoe, was very nice. I have Celiac Disease, and she let me know all my options on the menu. I didn't have time for a long sit-down meal, but I definitely will be back.

I often hesitate with Italian food because I cannot have Gluten. The up charge is notable but I had a wonderful gluten free experience. The meal was delicious and I did NOT have symptoms of cross contamination.
The octopus carpaccio is artful and delicious.
The gluten free pasta can be substituted so you just need to check the sauce and protein to make sure it’s gluten free.
I can’t wait to go back again.
Cozy and intimate with a vibrant atmosphere, this hidden gem is perfect for a relaxing dinner with delicious, well-loved options for everyone.

So happy we tried this place. I searched good gluten free food in Albany and it came up and it didn't disappoint. A great date night spot, we sat at the bar and it was cozy. The chef accommodated my gluten allergy and make a GF Chicken Marsala dish which was amazing. You can just tell it was made from scratch, even the sauce. So tasty! Definitely different than a popular chain restaurant where I normally get my Chicken Marsala dish. My boyfriend got a fish dish and said it tasted phenomenal. We both got lemon inspired drinks. The Limoncello martini was divine! We will be back, highly recommend.
This place is great. The wine options are excellent. I’ve had the cheese and meat board. It’s delicious and they don’t skimp on the amount or quality. They offer pizza on some days of the week which is amazing. They have vegan, vegetarian, and a gluten free options for pizza. The service is excellent. The bartenders are attentive and provide great customer service. I would recommend this place to anyone whose looking for a good spot to go after work or the weekends to unwind.
A creative gem with stunning outdoor seating that feels like a Tuscan garden and unique decor that'll impress even in the bathroom!

Where do I start? This is the best restaurant I have been to in a long time. The chef is a genius and the owner is a hero.
The napolitana no cheese gluten-free pizza could have beee mediocre or worse, but instead it was inspiring.
The broccoli rabe was very tasty and cooked correctly with a lot of olive garlic.
The grilled shrimp with prosciutto and grilled shrimp were good as they were, but the melon salsa really made the dish shine.
The espresso was served in a cup they can clearly raided from my Nana’s cabinet.
My only regret is they were out of gluten free pasta so I did not get to try the pasta dishes.
In the end, I judge a restaurant but how creative the decor of the bathroom is. That’s how you know how hard the place is trying and if they have anything unique to offer. Café Capriccio did not disappoint. Bathrooms were painted Italian red white and green, with framed posters of old Italian movies. Five stars for the loo.
They like to use their restaurant family resources, so one employee made a mosaic made of dish pieces for the wall, while another hooked the place up with an incredible cake company. They don’t fool around with quality here.
I was so excited to eat the food, I failed to take pictures of it. To compensate, I took photos of the incredible outdoor seating, that did indeed feel like a Tuscan garden, as advertised.
There is a private event room that is very cool and I hope to manufacture an excuse to have a group there one day.
Go here before all the New York City people discover it and make it impossible to get a table.
Came twice over the weekend, needless to say it was amazing, especially the gluten-free pizza ! YUMMY !! Staff is really nice and portion are really generous
