My family and I shared an incredible dinner here on Saturday March 1st. It was Schenectady Restaurant week so the dining room was extremely busy. The owner Anthony made sure we were sat within minutes of arriving for our 6:45 reservation.
We started with a beet and burrata salad and mussels in brodo broth. My two children also enjoyed the complimentary bread and butter that was served. The garlic butter was absolutely delicious along with the appetizers.
For dinner we has fettucini alfredo with perfectly grilled chicken, chicken parmesan and two kids grilled cheeses. The grilled cheeses were a grilled panini style which was a pleasant suprise and different than elsewhere. The red sauce on the chicken parm was one of my favorites I have ever had.
We finished with strawberry shortcake, gluten free chocolate cake and two chocolate layer cakes to go. All hit the spot.
I highly recommend the Ritz as a date night or family night out.
Experience a well-executed menu with accommodating service, perfect for groups with diverse dietary needs in a bustling atmosphere.

As a lifelong resident of Schenectady and being of Italian heritage, the dishes here are consistently executed with skill. Unfortunately (for me) I have celiac and cannot partake in many of the Italian staples I grew up on. Cornell’s has gone above and beyond to amend the dishes they can to ensure they are gluten free and to boot they offer the best GF bread I have ever had. Highly recommend.
Known for their delicious catering, this spot is a hit for weddings and parties, delighting guests with fantastic options.

Prepare for a cozy vibe and amazing specials like lobster bisque on weekends, but be ready for a bit of a trek to park.

We made a reservation and were seated as soon as we walked in. Service was wonderful.
The food was delicious. Their lobster bisque, which is only served on Friday and Saturday, was outstanding. I got the halibut special and it was really good. My husband ordered the lamb shank special and the meat just fell off of the bone it was so good. The dessert menu had something for everyone including a gluten-free cake, which was heavenly.
Parking is tough. We couldn't find a spot on the street so we parked in the parking garage. There was no charge for parking, but it was a bit of a walk on icy sidewalks in February. In nicer weather the walk would be fine.
I highly recommend this restaurant and we will be back to eat again.
This is a cute little cozy hideaway. Good food, good proportions including gluten free and vegetarian options. Decent on tap menu plus wine list. Friendly homey atmosphere. Last time we were there they squeezed in a band! Always feel satisfied bringing family &friends from out of town here. The gift shop attached is quite an addiction, so many good gifts there!
Rather than having a separate gluten free menu, almost any regular menu item can be prepared gluten free. The gluten free veal parm was prepared with no breading and served with GF penne.
Honestly, if you’re having a down day? This is the place to be. Their food is delectable. Wings phenomenally mouth-watering. And they have gluten free options!!!!!!
