Have previously loved their gluten free pizza, but ordered it for delivery tonight and got 2 very thin, small pizzas with some anemic little bits of sausage and toppings for $50.. Won't be ordering from here any more.

I am so glad I discovered this place! I have seriously tried every gluten free pizza in the area and Troy's is by far the best. Their gluten free chicken Parmesan pasta is amazing too. Beyond that, I'm always greeted with the friendliest and quickest service here, and their homemade pizza sauce is the best I've had. I would highly recommend Troy's if your craving pasta, pizza, or Italian food, whether or not you're gluten free or vegan, they have delicious options all around and fast service. Thank you guys for what you do!

All-around great spot for Italian in Rosslyn! Sfoglina has a super lively atmosphere, friendly service, and a solid variety of delicious food. I've visited a few times, and each time have been super impressed by how welcoming and accommodating of dietary restrictions the staff has been -- Italian places are generally tough for folks who are gluten-free, but they have a number of gluten-free items (or substitutions), and the servers are diligent about checking with the kitchen to confirm the ingredients. My latest (and favorite) visit was for Summer Restaurant Week in 2023; the meal came with three courses, starting with a delicious and refreshing salad, and ending with an equally delicious and refreshing sorbet for dessert. My entree of choice was their olive oil poached Icelandic cod, which was perfectly flaky and tender. The capers and squid ink made the dish quite the umami flavor bomb, and I would absolutely visit again just to indulge in their cod again. The king of their menu is, of course, their giant selection of pasta. If you're feeling indecisive, you can get a pasta flight to share with your table and sample three plates (which is honestly just a tiny fraction of their menu, but still a delicious fraction). They don't explicitly call this out on their menu, but you can also order a half portion of any of their pastas, which is great if you're not feeling super hungry or if you want to try out two different entrees. All in all, Sfoglina is a vibrant restaurant with lovely service and fantastic food -- highly recommend for your next Italian craving!

Nice, upscale italian restaurant with great atmosphere. Excellent menu, from appetizers to pizza, fish, pasta, desserts and cocktails. They have Gluten free pasta. The service was a bit slow on a Thursday night, with only 4 tables, it took 1 hour to get our pasta, but it was worth it!

UPDATE: What I write is my personal review of my experience at a public location and does not represent the company I work for. What type of person stalks the customer and brings up the person’s work place and lists my entire check on their response?? This has nothing to do with my job, but the behavior of the owner which made my experience at his restaurant a horrible experience. I alone ordered those items and paid myself plus a good tip to the waitress regardless of my horrible experience. To make matters worst, his version and response of what happened are completely untrue. He made up details in a very aggressive attempt to discredit and slander our character. What type of person does that!? I was so excited to try this restaurant but left very disappointed due to the rudeness and aggressive interaction with of the owner/ manager. The food was mediocre, but the wine and the young staff were good, minus the fact that she didn’t know what gluten free meant though it’s an option on their menu. My friends made a reservation for girl’s night, we were happy to forgo our reservation and sat at an open seating since we had other friends join us. The owner approached us telling my friends and I that our friend’s acquaintance made him feel uncomfortable with no cause. He just made an assumption with no cause or reason. The acquaintance did not do anything to disturb the peace or cause any problems at a restaurant but the owner seemed to already have made up his mind about what type of person he was. He ordered a beer and hung out with our friends for a little bit. We told our friends of the owners statement and they decided to quickly finish their meals and peacefully leave altogether so the girls and I could enjoy our dinner and not be bothered by the owner. Then the owner approached us again yelling and embarrassing us “are you guys going to pay for his drink!?” We were surprised by his approach and statement because it was rude and inappropriate. Our friends had already paid for the drink on their tab. The owner didn’t check with his staff before approaching us, he just jumped to conclusions once again. At the end of our meal I approached the owner to tell him that he made our experience very uncomfortable. This place is not cheap and I alone spent $120 so I expected better from the place and my experience, specially did not expect to be harassed by him. He didn’t apologize and I told him we would never return again. I’m not complaining about the price of this place and happily paid, plus I gave the wait staff a good tip since it was not her fault how the owner behaved. He is beyond rude and I’m not the first to say it. You can see it in his very aggressive and inappropriate response. This is not the behavior of other restaurant owners in this area who know what being in hospitality means.

I've been a fan of Il Radicchio for more than 25 years. Over the years I've happily eaten my way through their entire menu. All options are delicious. The perfectly cooked bottomless spaghetti is an enjoyable way to try a variety of sauces. They even have gluten-free pasta options with the sauces. Try the light cream sauce with sausage, wine, and leeks (one of my favorites).

Ate dinner here while staying an unexpected night at the Residence Inn next door. I have Celiac disease, and Cristian and the chef were wonderful and made sure to use separate pasta water and prepare my meal gluten-free. I really appreciated it. Affordable for a hotel restaurant, and the food was good.

Pie-Tanza is one of our favorite restaurants in Arlington. Consistently great food, generally fast and friendly service, and an extremely family-friendly atmosphere overall. As for the food: awesome all around. They have a solid lineup of starter dishes (including caprese, calamari, fried goat cheese, and many more) and the best salads I’ve had anywhere (all of which are served in very large and easily shareable portions, FYI). Main courses include super tasty pasta dishes (particularly the Sweet Tomato Cream Penne, Fettuccine Alfredo and Chicken Parmigiana), fresh subs and sandwiches, and tons of yummy Italian style pizzas. Last but certainly not least: they have a VERY impressive kids menu with a great variety of main meals and additional side options to choose from, including: all of the usual kid menu staples like Mac and cheese, chicken tenders, grilled cheese, butter noodles, spaghetti, meatballs, etc, plus additional healthy choices like salmon, fresh fruit, several (cooked and uncooked) vegetable options, and even a number of gluten free options. Lots of desserts as well, plus a solid if not particularly inventive or extensive drink menu. (NO liquor though, FYI, at least there hasn’t been in the past…I’ll update this post next time I’m there if incorrect.) Overall: It’s a pretty awesome place. If I could afford to eat out every night I would probably end up eating there 5 out of 7 nights. Give or take. We still do takeout only these days, as our three kids are still too young for vaccines and we’re not taking chances going inside to eat anywhere yet. But it’s always been a favorite dining spot for us (as it is for many families in the surrounding neighborhoods and beyond), and we’re looking forward to being able to eat inside with the kids again soon.
