Gluten intolerant, we ate a delicious pizza, super courtesy from the waiters, the service was also very fast (it was a Saturday evening). Too bad there is little choice of flavors for gluten-free pizzas
Ein unglaublich gut sortierter 100% glutenfreier Laden. Ich hatte ein Croissant mit Pistaziencrème und zwei Pizzetti. Einfach köstlich und empfehlenswert ♥️👍🏽
Beautiful experience! The environment immediately conveys professionalism and attention to detail, the creations of the chef and his boys are elegant and refined, but at the same time they convey the quality of genuine flavours. Congratulations for the research and study for gluten-free products which currently have no equal! Finally a croissant so crumbly and far superior to many other glutinous ones,
ABSOLUTELY MUST TRY!!
We will be back as soon as possible 🥐🙏

Very good and good quality ice cream!
One of the few ice cream shops in the area that has ice cream for celiacs.
The price per kg is a little high compared to other ice cream shops but it is justified by the good raw materials.

The first focaccia I have ever eaten and really tasty! I ordered the gluten free option and it was amazing 😌 Crunchy, with sauce and enough for a dinner!
Private and welcoming environment. Qualified and truly helpful staff. High quality and mixed fried food which is always a guarantee and then it is gluten free!!!! My son tried tuna tartare for the first time and ate every last bit of it. Very fair price
Artisan ice cream shop, clean, many flavors without milk, the only one where I find chocolate and hazelnut without added sugar and vegan cream, very light. The cones and crepes are gluten free, very kind and helpful staff, there are always many "different" flavors that children like such as Dino Park, Pokemon, as well as the classic hazelnut from Piedmont and pistachio from Bronte. Gluten free and non-gluten free desserts, lately they have also invented chicken flavored ice cream for dogs. A place worth going to at least once and then always coming back, well done
Excellent experience, truly exquisite food, medium-high prices but absolutely in line with what is served. Also pay attention to gluten-free from starters to desserts
This was a fantastic little find during a trip to Lucca, Italy. The staff were warm and welcoming. Their knowledge of the menu was excellent and incredibly helpful. We initially just stopped for a drink but when they flaunted their gluten free options, I was hooked. We went to the pizzeria for lunch and loved it so much we decided to go back for dinner before our train home (being close to the train station helped, too). The Gluten Free pizza was fantastic as was my partner's 'normal' pizza. On our return for dinner, the quality somehow ramped up. The flavours were amazing and a well thought out recipe.
Just as we thought the taste explosions had stopped, they brought out dessert!
Anyone with food allergies will have no problem eating here, their knowledge of the menu and the fantastic kitchen make you feel completely at ease when ordering and eating. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves food.
We just had a fantastic meal at Trattoria L'Angolo. 3 generations of us for a family meal. They catered well for our smallest (slightly fussy) kids, with homemade simple pasta. The homemade Focaccia was absolutely delicious. We had lovely traditional Italian meals, pork, beef , risotto, tomato dishes. And local Tuscan wines. It was all lovely and set in a gorgeous square in the heart of Lucca. The staff were very attentive and accommodating..
Also special mention for catering well for Gluten Free dietary requirements. Would highly recommend when visiting Lucca. We booked the day before we went , would suggest doing the same.
Every time better and better... From the excellent quality ingredients, to the light, digestible and good dough, to the excellent craft beers, to the kind and friendly service and you have excellent desserts. The gluten-free pizzas are also excellent.
Well done and keep going!!!
Best decision to start our day in Lucca in this bar ! We were welcomed by the friendly manager of the place, who made us directly feel ‘at home’. Then we were served by the bartender, an amazing woman with whom we spent a lot of time talking. She is so cool ! She helped us out with a bunch of recommendations (not the typical touristic stuff, but her personal interests!) She was honest, warm and amicable, and continuously gave us a smile on the face ! VERY GOOD GLUTEN-FREE SNACKS AND PASTERIES ALSO !
Place with gluten-free menu. Excellent gluten-free Tordello made by them. Excellent appetizers and fried food. The roasted fish disappoints. Very affordable prices. We had dinner every night (4 times). The pizza is good. Highly recommended. Kind staff.
Finding this restaurant was pure luck but when we walked in they were fully booked so we made a reservation for the following night. After looking through Google reviews online this restaurant was rated very high and it is worth the hype. Although the photos you see here may be different than what you get because they changed their menu regularly. I’d suggest sharing but you can’t go wrong. They also make modifications if you are vegetarian or gluten free but options may be limited depending on the options on the menu that month.
Small but clean and well-kept place, central location and close to the station. The sushi is very good and the lunch formula is excellent (4 dishes of your choice for €12 excluding drinks) for me 4 dishes are very filling!
Also very careful about gluten-free!!
Superb place! We saw Nonna making pasta in the day and we tried for a walk in later in the evening. Amazing atmosphere they catered for gluten free also.
Real trattoria in the center of Lucca, with a menu that is far too broad but which does not lose out on the quality of the dishes.
You can find the main Tuscans.
Many gluten-free options, price in line with what is offered.
We had a fantastic dinner at Trattoria Canuleia. The atmosphere was nearly as excellent as the food, and they were kindly able to accommodate us on a Friday evening without a reservation. A lovely green back courtyard hosted a number of tables. I’d particularly call out the great gluten free options. My wife is allergic to gluten, and there were many options available, including gluten free pasta and bread. The wait staff couldn’t have been more lovely and accommodating.
Absolutely will return next time we are in Lucca.
An exceptional restaurant! The environment is very nice and the waiters are good and friendly, which helps make the experience even more pleasant. The food is special and truly delicious, so much so that we returned 3 times. Excellent meat. Crispy pizza. They also have gluten-free stink. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in a welcoming environment and with impeccable service.
Tourist here*
The staff was kind and shared a lot of knowledge. I have celiacs disease and they offer a great selection for those with celiac or those who are GF.
Love the outside atmosphere. Highly recommend.
I had lunch at Antica Osteria with some friends and each of us was absolutely satisfied with every single dish ordered. The owner and the entire staff were very kind and super attentive to our needs. A friend and I are celiac and we were also able to enjoy first courses prepared with gluten-free pasta, which unfortunately not all places have. Very fast and attentive service.
Super honest prices!
Beautiful garden.
I recommend trying their hummus: delicious!
We'll be back soon!
The best gluten free pizza I’ve ever eaten. This would pass as first class pizza in the UK and I had the GF one. I had take out but the place was buzzing
All in all a successful evening. Food very good, nice atmosphere and excellent service in all respects. Good know-how when it comes to intolerances (gluten, lactose...). Dishes can be customized.
THE BEST ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI IN LUCCA!
Free parking spaces on site.
Location: modern and well cared for with a small tank with goldfish (which, despite what Google suggests, are not edible hahaha) lots of cherry blossoms and miniatures of Italian monuments almost everywhere 😊
Location: just outside the centre, 10 minutes by car and you're there.
Very friendly staff, fairly fast and precise service with autonomous ordering at the table using the tablet that you will find at the table itself.
The menu is rich, and the quality of the products is exceptional.
Always check the words GLUTEN FREE, it's important and in addition to reporting it on your tablet, let the waiters know and everything will go smoothly!!
Average prices.
You can't miss stopping at Suyoshi,
See you soon !!
We were sent to a dinner in this place... a wonderful surprise! The road that leads to the restaurant is immersed in the countryside and vineyards of Lucca and this is already a good start. Once you reach your destination you are welcomed into a place with attention to every detail, new and old blend perfectly creating a splendid and warm environment. We sat down to dine on the terrace with a wonderful landscape in front of us and a refined and elegant mise en place, you could see that nothing was left to chance (the idea of a saucer to taste the oil was also nice... very good!).
Service attentive to all needs (in our case children and celiac disease), young and prepared.
Very good food, you can perceive the attention to the raw materials. Dishes from Lucca cuisine that wink at a more modern and refined cuisine.
Highly recommended!
Excellent pizzeria, very good, excellent service and decidedly high quality raw materials. I recommend the queen which is very good.
The gluten free base is also very good.
Really nice atmosphere and staff, but the food isn’t good at all. The tortellini tasted like really cheap tortellini from the grocery store and the cheese sauce too.
The gluten free margherita pizza was pretty good though, but it is hard to fail making a pizza with mozzarella and tomato sauce
Very good! We went here for lunch while visiting the center of Lucca and had a great time, friendly staff and excellent dishes. Their butter served with bread is a real gem, dishes different from traditional classics but with authentic flavours, you can feel the quality of the raw material. Also perfect for gluten free
