Gluten intolerant, we ate a delicious pizza, super courtesy from the waiters, the service was also very fast (it was a Saturday evening). Too bad there is little choice of flavors for gluten-free pizzas
Experience impeccable service and a charming atmosphere at this historic gem, where unique dishes and attentive care create a memorable dining experience.

The first focaccia I have ever eaten and really tasty! I ordered the gluten free option and it was amazing 😌 Crunchy, with sauce and enough for a dinner!

We just had a fantastic meal at Trattoria L'Angolo. 3 generations of us for a family meal. They catered well for our smallest (slightly fussy) kids, with homemade simple pasta. The homemade Focaccia was absolutely delicious. We had lovely traditional Italian meals, pork, beef , risotto, tomato dishes. And local Tuscan wines. It was all lovely and set in a gorgeous square in the heart of Lucca. The staff were very attentive and accommodating..
Also special mention for catering well for Gluten Free dietary requirements. Would highly recommend when visiting Lucca. We booked the day before we went , would suggest doing the same.
Modern spot near the station, known for its tasty dishes and great lunch deals, plus a clean vibe with views of historic buildings.

Small but clean and well-kept place, central location and close to the station. The sushi is very good and the lunch formula is excellent (4 dishes of your choice for €12 excluding drinks) for me 4 dishes are very filling!
Also very careful about gluten-free!!
Charming vibe with a homey feel, the experience includes watching pasta being made and enjoying warm hospitality in a convenient location.

Superb place! We saw Nonna making pasta in the day and we tried for a walk in later in the evening. Amazing atmosphere they catered for gluten free also.

Real trattoria in the center of Lucca, with a menu that is far too broad but which does not lose out on the quality of the dishes.
You can find the main Tuscans.
Many gluten-free options, price in line with what is offered.
Charming and intimate with a lovely courtyard, this spot offers an excellent menu and a cozy vibe perfect for romantic dinners.

We had a fantastic dinner at Trattoria Canuleia. The atmosphere was nearly as excellent as the food, and they were kindly able to accommodate us on a Friday evening without a reservation. A lovely green back courtyard hosted a number of tables. I’d particularly call out the great gluten free options. My wife is allergic to gluten, and there were many options available, including gluten free pasta and bread. The wait staff couldn’t have been more lovely and accommodating.
Absolutely will return next time we are in Lucca.
Charming spot with a relaxed vibe, perfect for a break during sightseeing, offering unique off-menu treats and moderate prices.

The staff was kind and shared a lot of knowledge. I have celiacs disease and they offer a great selection for those with celiac or those who are GF.

I had lunch at Antica Osteria with some friends and each of us was absolutely satisfied with every single dish ordered. The owner and the entire staff were very kind and super attentive to our needs. A friend and I are celiac and we were also able to enjoy first courses prepared with gluten-free pasta, which unfortunately not all places have. Very fast and attentive service.
Super honest prices!
Beautiful garden.
I recommend trying their hummus: delicious!
We'll be back soon!

All in all a successful evening. Food very good, nice atmosphere and excellent service in all respects. Good know-how when it comes to intolerances (gluten, lactose...). Dishes can be customized.
A lovely spot in the square with quick service and a standout homemade pizza base makes it a great choice for groups.

Really nice atmosphere and staff, but the food isn’t good at all. The tortellini tasted like really cheap tortellini from the grocery store and the cheese sauce too.
The gluten free margherita pizza was pretty good though, but it is hard to fail making a pizza with mozzarella and tomato sauce
A gem in Lucca, offering unique dishes with authentic flavors and excellent quality ingredients, perfect for any meal or snack break.

Very good! We went here for lunch while visiting the center of Lucca and had a great time, friendly staff and excellent dishes. Their butter served with bread is a real gem, dishes different from traditional classics but with authentic flavours, you can feel the quality of the raw material. Also perfect for gluten free
