With a stunning view of Lindfield Village Green and an unbeatable double baked pumpkin soufflé, this spot is a must-visit for a delightful experience.

The Runaway Spoon has new owners & new staff; has been totally renovated - new tables & everything. Pleasant surprise & modern looking.
One thing I don’t like about the new arrangements, is the seating around the tables.
You are squashed together with very little or no elbow room due to the position of table legs. There were 8 of us & the four people at the ends, didn’t have a proper length of table in front of them. the table was too short.
The food is good & plentiful, they have kept most of the menu as it was from the previous owners with some improvements. Everyone enjoyed the lunch, the only negative about the food was …… too much - the steak sandwich & hamburgers, but😋. Some of the food can be turned into Gluten free options + several GF meals. Two of us are GF.
It’s great for groups for everyone can pay for their own meals individually. Saves a lot of headaches at the end.
This cozy spot is a tea lover's paradise with over ten unique brews, plus tasty vegan ice creams and a range of alternative drinks.

A really nice cafe to reward yourself with a coffee.
I got a small flat white, it was a bit pricey at $4.50 but it was really well made.
They have almond, soy and oat milk available.
They also have over ten kinds of tea which is so rare. The tea, even when ordered for takeaway was brewed loose leaf then poured into our keep cup.
Lots of cakes available. If you require gluten free they have cookies available by Byron Bay Cookies - all individually packaged so they are coeliac safe.
As well as the usual selection of ice creams there's a freezer of premium vegan ones that happen to be gluten free as well. $6 each but great to have an option.
Lots of alternative and kid friendly drinks as well as the usual cola items.
Enjoy a cosy vibe with quick service and beautifully presented dishes, plus a great mix of options that keep folks coming back for more.

Cosy atmosphere, food was served quickly, plenty of gluten free and vegan options, had the choice of getting our entrees and mains served at the same time (praise god) and the order was presented beautifully. Will definitely be returning for another round of their curry puffs and duck pancakes.
