Delicious food, great service and a really positive energetic vibe. IMO, this is the best place for dinner in Sooke. The food was fresh and there were vegan and gluten free options. Portion sizes and prices were very reasonable for the delicious food we got. We will be back again, the next time we're visiting Sooke!!!

As “the allergy girl” and needing a low FODMAP meal, every employee at the Lazy Gecko checked, affirmed, then confirmed every ingredient for an absolutely delicious gluten free and vegan taco salad. My husband, the man with no restrictions, almost licked his plate. Higher than Highly recommend the food and the staff deserve a standing ovation. You’re amazing. Thank you!

Great sushi in sooke . The staff are so kind and amazing about allergies. I was so worried about my celiac allergy and the staff accommodated me . They even showed me wrappers etc to put my mind at ease. Excellent service. Delicious sushi. my weekly treat!

Easily my favourite place in Sooke for feel good food. Love the amount of delicious vegan options, as well as gluten free. I’ve had the coffee, chai tea, garden panini, smoothies and avocado toast and I cant decide which I like more! They’re all amazing.
Kristina and Chef Miloš are so kind and create such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. Definitely my favourite spot for dine-in with ocean views, or for takeout. Always very clean with comfortable places to sit. I love Island Tarts. 10/10 every time!
